Kana's eyes widened as well, as she saw him injured. She winced as he apologized, and shook her head quickly. Why was he apologizing, when she was the one that just injured him? But then she blinked, realizing he was falling straight towards her. Would he be able to land? But soon after, she realized that wasn't her primary concern right now. He was coming at her with a sword! She quickly tried to put up another shield in front of herself, though it was probably likely his sword would go through again. Still, she left it in place as she scooted to the side, laying on her back in mid air now, since she'd turned to make the shield. She was hoping the shield would slow down the sword at least a little, and give her time to move out of the way. If it didn't, she'd surely be struck in her side.

[sorry, i'm talking to this colledge student who is from fictionpress... and we're talking... and in the weirdest convo xD]
Koichi frowned as she made another sheild, the sword impacting with it. The tip was on the surface of it, trying it's hardest to get through and shatter it. Both his arms and sword were shaking slightly as he tried his best to get past, though he wasn't all sure if he could. "Kitty..." he said again; he really didn't want to do this to his little sister.

[Haha, sounds like fun. xD;;]
Kana saw the sword hit the shield, but her eyes widened as she saw the tip starting to come through. She quickly dropped down and away from it, but it followed, her shield giving out. She gasped as she felt the metal cut into her side, near the edge of her skin. But at the same time, the feeling was extremely familiar, and brought back several memories of home she'd rather forget. She pulled away from it and to the side, clamping a hand over her side as she winced up at Koichi and shook her head. Don't worry about it, she thought, wondering if he could read minds too. She didn't trust her voice right now, knowing it would shake. She floated away, one hand still over the stab wound, which she just realized she'd probably made worse by pulling away to the side instead of down to make it go straight out. Ugh, dummy, she scolded herself. She was still lying on her back, the wind focused there as she floated quickly away from him and higher into the air. Her eyes darted around, searching for her lost dagger.

Koichi's grip around the sword tightened as it pierced into her, his body coming close to hers. He clenched his jaw, resisting the urge to say anything except, "Kitty... I'm sorry." He whispered it into her ear, where he'd been stationary for a few moments, before she moved away. He let his arms drop, his sword dangling by his side as he turned his head to watch after her, his body still facing where she'd been moments before.
[the movie....was AWSOME :wants the second to come out, and quick: crying love triangles are dramatic, but they so suck and ruin everything!!! (there isn't...really one, it just looks that way xD)]

Kana flipped herself upright as she kept looking for the dagger, but she gave up for now and looked back at him. She frowned though, hand tightening over her side. He was doing the same thing Kazan was, apologizing after everything he did! It was irritating, and made her think they didn't believe she could handle anything. "This is nothing!" she shouted, tearing her bloody hand away from the wound. "So watch your back!" She focused another wall of wind and sent it at him, though it was purposely weaker than the last one she hit him with. At most, it would just push him forward. She knew Kaze would most likely yell at her for missing an opportunity when her opponent's back was open, or at least she assumed he would. But, she didn't want to attack him full force with his back turned. She bit her lip, waiting to see if Koichi would dodge, and every now and then glancing around for the dagger again.

Indeed, Kaze started to yell at her for that reason, although the sudden kick up of another sandstorm started to block it out. Koichi, though, concentrated on staying still as he felt the sudden pull of the wall. He braced himself using his powers, as the wall pushed him foward a few inches, his feet firm against nothing as though a wall was beneith him and someone was pushing him backwards, but he ended up moving foward; he, however, wasn't going to budge. "That's not..." he started, his face covered in shadow as he looked down at the upkicking sand. That wasn't what I ment, he thought to himself before his head suddenly snapped up, his sword drawn. Using the force of the wind, he pushed himself upwards, sword drawn near his chest again, the tip dangerously slicing the air towards Kana.

Kana watched him nervously, ear twitching as he began to speak. Though, he trailed off and she only caught the first two words. She frowned at this, curious to know what he was about to say, but decided now was not the time to ask, especially as she saw him coming at her once more. She quickly brought her hands up, another wall forming in front of her as she shot backwards, a gentle torrent of wind pushing into her stomach to move her. It stilled after she was well out of range and she stopped, floating in the air again, the bits focused under her feet to keep her afloat.
[Dinner time! Hold on a second.]

Koichi grunted, suddenly going into a spin as he moved to the right before catching himself on the edge of the wall. He put a foot on it, seeing it was momentarily sturdy, and pushed himself even further, keeping his foot where it was. "Kana, you have to do better than that!" Kaze yelled, holding his side as he finally stood up, leaning against the arena's walls, Kazan's arms wrapped around him in worry. Koichi didn't look down at Kaze, though, he continued to look at Kana as he charged foward, his eyes narrowed threateningly.

Kana's eyes shifted momentarily to Kaze then widened as she saw him holding his side. Had her first attack earlier done that much damage? She hadn't even been aiming! She grit her teeth, ear twitching again as she suddenly looked back up at Koichi. Her eyes remained widened for a moment before slowly narrowing in focus. She held up her hands again, pushing them forward as if shoving something towards him. She actually was, sending another wall of air after him as she tried to put more distance between them. She was feeling very distracted, and she needed to get ahold of herself again. The pain in her side wasn't helping either.

Koichi grunted as Kaze shouted again. "Stop using the same attack over and over, Kana! After awhile, your opponint knows how to get around it without harming themselves!" he scolded. Indeed, Koichi easily dodged, once again, due to the fact he kept facing it over and over. He continued on towards her, swerving from side to side of confuse her slightly; he was using her temporary weakness to his advantage; he wanted to make her realize what she might be dealing with one day... someone much worse. "Kitty," he said again, soft and under his breath, as he continued upwards with the words just traveling down his acending body.

Kana heard Kaze yell out and flinched, finally allowing her hand to cover her bleeding side again. "But, I-" she began, then cut herself off as she bit her tongue. Her eyes remained upon Koichi as she tried to think of what she could do. But her mind was all jumbled, and she couldn't think straight. And why... why did Koichi keep repeating that? Then a sudden idea popped into her head, about how he'd mentioned using your surroundings to your advatange. She glanced down at the sand. At first nothing happened. Then suddenly a wave of it lurched upwards, trying to drape itself over Koichi from behind. Another bit broke off to try circling around him. Kana, meanwhile, fled backwards, clutching at her side as she breathed in and out heavily.

Koichi looked behind him, suddenly feeling a shift in the pressure he felt on hismelf. His eyes widened as he kicked his foot once, as though he were stopming and pushing himself further. He kept his eyes on Kana, trying to out fly the sand- although he wasn't doing a good job of it. From the view of Kazan and Kaze, as the sand caught up to his neck- somewhere from the side- Koichi shouted, "Kitty!!" She was holding her side and breathing heavily; was she injured? He kicked once again, trying to escape the incoming sand as he reached out a hand, dropping the sword to his side, trying to reach his sister before anything happened-if anything happened.

[Hm... I hadn't planned on letting her faint but now I don't know. ^^;; Ah, you don't remember injuring her? She's already held up her bloody hand at least once. xD;;]
Kana watched him for a moment and then decided she could risk closing her eyes for a bit. She flinched as he shouted though. This is nothing, she told herself quietly. I'm fine! She pulled her hand from her side again, letting it hang at her side as she watched Koichi. Though, it was getting a little harder to focus. She wiped her face with her clean hand and then fell back to her earlier task of searching for her lost dagger. She needed it. It was important! She sniffed the air softly, seeking the scent of metal tainted slightly with blood, but smelled only the overwhelming sand and the blood from her own wound. She grit her teeth, yelping as she suddenly dropped a couple feet before restoring the wind beneath her feet to hold herself back up.

[roar xD i remember, it's just... he thinks your a little green, that's all xD]
Koichi grunted as he reached for her, his fingers extending, before the sand colapsed over him, plunging him down into the piles of sand. He'd formed a smal ball around him, so he was stuck in it in the darkness, very little light from his powers giving him some sight. He chuckled, though, from feet under the sand as he saw Kana's dagger. "That's where you've been, he said, levitating it into the bubble. After a moment he shut his eyes, waiting to see what she was going to do now; if nothing happened, he'd force the sand back in an explosion before zooming out of the mirage it left and shooting the dagger back at her. She seemed, apparently, to be fine; or so she said.

Kana's eyes opened wide in time to see him burried into the sand. She barely resisted the urge to dive down and start digging him out, telling herself he'd been alright. She couldn't help biting her lip anxiously though. She glanced around one last time for the dagger before focusing upon Koichi again. She didn't know where he'd gone, and figured that was a bad move on her part to drop the sand over him. Maybe it would have worked with someone else, but she was sure he'd be able to handle it. She frowned, staring at the place she'd last seen him, eyes narrowed as she searched for any sign of him. But she didn't know what to do since she didn't see him, so she retreated back up several feet, hovering there in a crouched position as she awaited an attack. She was tensed instinctively, ready to spring to one side or the other. Then again, dropping suddenly had gotten her out of things before as well.
