Arai Himura Fire Dragon was glad to see Ninian with Nils. If there was anyone he wanted in Nils' company other than himself, it would be Ninian. He returned her nod. "How are you, Ninian?" "I am alright, Fire Dragon. Although, I am not sure what is going on, or why that man is here. Do you know who he is? I did see that Miss Nino is back."

Hearing voices, Fiora went to see which members of FEF were up. "Good Morning Ninian, Nils, Fire Dragon. I believe Nino came back last night with the Ice King. Hello to you too Renault." Thinking to herself, Fiora wondered why everyone is so quiet this morning. She scratched Ed's head gently.

Renault looked up at the pegasus knight and smiled quietly. "Hello, Miss Fiora," he said. "You missed quite a bit; that sage, Leander, says that he may be able to find a way for everyone to go back to their own worlds." He spread his arms expansively. "So everyone has been a bit excited and conflicted. If he does get the door open, I'm afraid many of those here are going to take that offer and go back to their own worlds."

The father looked over at Melethia and shrugged slightly. "That is something I can't tell you, Melethia. In my case, I'm happier here than I was in Elibe. . . but a lot of the others have been separated from people who are dear to them. If we were meant to come here, I can hardly see the reason for it yet. . . I myself have been here for two years. A few events have happened recently, yes; but the morph event involved a woman who must have come from Elibe, or she would not have known of Nergal. So there are a lot of things unanswered. . ."

"The Ice King" Ninian wondered out loud. Was that the man who I saw last night? That would certainly explain why he felt cold to me.
She listened carefully to Renault explaining things to Fiora.
His name is Leander? I've never heard of him before. What does he mean, 'a way back to our own worlds'? Does this mean--some of us are going to leave? Ninian looked at Nils, still thinking as she watched her brother eat. I can't imagine leaving without Nils, but why should we leave? This is a peaceful place, and there are so many kind people here who accept us for who we are.

"I am better off then where I was." She said. "Being hunted down by people who wanted to kill you so that your brother could take the throne. I did myself a favor."

It was a sudden strange event Isadora had encountered. There they were, the members and herself were planning to rescue Nino only to find Nino and Leander in front of the door. Then she later found out about Leander mistaken Nino's identity and to discover the origin's of FEF castle. Never had she expected the battle to end so quickly without violence and war.
But then again, there were still some that remained mystery. First was the monsters that came to attack them. Why were these monsters appears and who was behind it? And second was that they remain in Fefga's house instead of the FEF castle they lived. The castle was no longer in control. So what was it that keep them away from their home.
Speaking of home, she felt a hint of pain through her heart. After hearing the explanation from Leander about the door and how everyone came to this land, it made Isadora a bit homesick. She remembered well how she came to this land.
After battling against Nergal, she and the other Pharaen went back to their homeland. It was then that she learned that Harken had departed the next day, leaving a letter to her. In the letter, he apologized to her that he could not wed her just as they planned. It was not that he wasn't committed to her, but he needed to be left alone for some time to relief the burden he had carried over his shoulders.
You shouldn't do this alone, Harken. Isadora thought. She knew well that carrying a heavy burden alone was not a easy task to do so. After few days of Harken's departure, she was on patrol duty thinking about Harken's whereabout and when he would come to her. It was then where Isadora saw a door on the tree. Wondering what it could be but cautious of the danger, Isadora went there to inspect only to came to the land.
With no where to go back, Isadora made herself settled with the people in this land. She was happy to see familiar faces such as Nino, Rath, and Nils. And she was happy to make new friends who came from different lands too.
However, she still felt the same pain in her heart when she thought about Harken. And now that she had heard that they would go back to their worlds, Isadora was somewhat happy and sad at the same time. Thinking of what Leander had told them about his background, she couldn't help that Leander had somewhat reminded her of Harken.
A tear rolled down her cheek as she closed her eyes. She whispered, "Oh Harken....."

After a moment, the bishop gave a slow nod. "I. . . see. I, myself, have made a few friends; though my position here is much as it was in my own world. I do what I can to assist, but that usually isn't very much. Here, our Crew handles everything." He smiled slightly, then looked up, eyes closing for a moment. "St. Elimine still watches, however. And I will still do what I can to protect those here, whatever happens. The Crew may well decide to go home, as well; I know that Lady Nino has people she would like to return to."

"I will miss everyone if they leave." Melethia said softly. She didn't want to openly admit that she was making friends with humans. It was kinda a blow to her dragonic pride.

"I might very well... lose everyone of my new tribe..." Sue sighed, resisting the urge to sniffle. "Oh... Soren... Rhys... Alihi... Father... why is it that our coming here was a mistake?"
"I wonder who will stay... and who will go?" Victoria was slightly interested, but she probably knew the outcome. Soon enough, she'd leave FEF castle, its town, and... that's all, since all the people would go home, leave the deserted town in the dust and go on the road once agian.

Amelia found herself standing right outside the house when she woke up the next morning. After her conversation with Rhys in the library, it had been difficult to settle her thoughts and actually sleep, so even now, in the cold air that would have snapped anyone out of reverie, she yawned and hid it in her fist.
She removed her Knight's Crest from her pocket, staring at it. Again, as she rubbed a thumb against the insignia, she could feel the thrumming power buried within the metal. "Only Knights and Cavaliers of proper worth and power can hope to use this..." she murmured, thinking of her fights with Lord Ephraim's army, recalling the time that Gilliam had explained these such things to her.
"It's what some call promotion items," the quiet Knight had told her one afternoon, during one of the army's infrequent respites from battle. "A person with enough training and ability can use them to unlock further potential. I don't... know how to explain it, really. But those that have used them... usually become much stronger than their peers, those that are unable to do the same."
Amelia closed her eyes. "The only question... is how to use it," she whispered. She pressed her palm against the surface of the Crest and took in a long breath. As if reacting to her desire, the power within intensified, and Amelia let out a soft gasp, opening her eyes. The Knight's Crest glowed, and energy within the object emanated out and into her, filling her with a sort of vigor she hadn't ever experienced. Amelia closed her eyes once more, the power pulsing once before settling deep in her bones, and the Crest was suddenly gone. Amelia opened her eyes, and saw the scatterings of fine dust on the wind.
"It disintegrated..." she whispered. Amelia watched the particles dance away, then looked at her hands. She curled them to fists, then smiled. Feeling much more awake and more confident, Amelia went back into the house, smiling to herself.
As she stepped back inside, Amelia heard Sue's voice. "What's a mistake?" she asked, turning the corner to see the Nomadic Trooper. Amelia frowned. "What's wrong...? You look like you're crying..."

Hearing what Sue said, it took a moment or two before Isadora slowly spoke. "I don't think our coming here is a mistake. Nor did I think we came just to escape our problems. Everything comes with a reason. So whatever that reason is...... I hope we would know."

"Not... all of us say that, miss Melethia. The others surely have people to return to. Amelia, Isadora... everyone had lives in their homelands. We all met by accident, came to this world by accident... " Sue told all of them. "That means... our friendship... wasn't meant to be..."
