Amelia laughed a little. "Well, we're even; I wouldn't know the first thing about fighting properly with my hands and feet besides kicking and punching wildly. And I certainly don't have any impressive claws or fangs like yours," she responded cheerfully. Amelia shelved the swords one at a time, working to make sure they didn't fall off.

Tibarn swept through the air and rolled, then shot up next to Melethia and flew slowly alongside her. "Aye, Melethia. Janaff and I are making sure no other morphs get in here. Quite a little tiff you and the hot wyvern chick had down there, hm?" He seemed so much at ease in the air, it was like he was born and raised at thirty thousand feet.

"True." Amelia's cheerfulness despite the situation... Lyre wasn't really sure what to make out of it. It was kind of contagious though. She smiled, shaking her head.
"...Why do you Beorc have so many different types of weapons, anyway? I mean, I understand the weapon triangle, but why use all this iron and steel and silver on stuff like this?"

Amelia looked back over at Lyre. She finished putting up the Iron Swords and went to work at the Steel Swords. "Well, the lighter swords tend to be able to hit vital points more easily. You can swing them faster. The heavier ones have a more powerful strike, though. Plus, when you're just starting out, you gotta start with the lighter weapons. Have to build up muscle strength from the bottom, not from the top."

Alihi cringed slightly. 4 am? She never got up that early, ever! She moved out of the way of others, leaning against a wall, chin rested in the palm of her hand.
She'd think of a way to rescue Sue, somehow.

"I transform into a dragon like you become a hawk, Though I'm not a laguz, I'm a half dragon." Tibarn made a soft noise of agreement. "Yeah, well, I don't care how bad she thinks she is. She won't boss the Hawk King around." He peeled off, sweeping low over the house once, checking a movement he'd caught out of the corner of his eye-- just an animal running into a bush. He moved back up, settling into place beside the dragoness once more. "So... not Goldoan, then?"

Amelia nodded and smiled. "Yep. Just like I'm sure those of the beast tribes don't hunt the biggest game when they first learn. You start with small animals, right?" Amelia put another Steel Sword on the shelf.

Lyre stopped and thought about it.
"Well... I suppose. If not smallest, than at least the most docile. We spar with our own age groups though, if we plan on being soldiers... I always sparred with my sister."

"See, exactly! It's not so different," Amelia said with a grin. She finished with the Steel Swords. She glanced at Lyre's work; very good. Amelia nodded approvingly before going to find the Killing Edges.

Rei walked by, and grabbed the rather small pile of various tomes.
"I have a bookshelf in my room, and there's so few mages that we can keep everything in there and not worry about it. So, I'll be taking these."
Rei then hefted the wad of books up the stairs, and into his room, dropping them on his bed.
As he scattered all of the light and anima tomes throughout the shelves, he searched for some simple dark tomes. Man, there's gotta be something for Mika to use in here...

In Laguz nations, the strongest Laguz is the leader. It's... different for humans, though, so I know not what the case is for you. However, I mourn your loss. If ever you need my company, Melethia, just call."
