Charles fled as fast as he could for about a minute before the fury of his need to survive ebbed. With the removal of immanent death no longer a problem, he slows gradually to a stop and turns to look over his shoulder, the thunder of attacks and cries of war still rather close. The thought of being a coward never enters his mind, but the insatiable curiosity rears it's head again.

How better to learn of high-power attacks and the tactics of squad 10 as well as hollows than to witness an actual battle? He needn't announce his presence or join in- only watch. Certainly he could find a vantage point away from the combat but still be able to witness some of it! Without even finishing the analysis of dangers and risks, his feet were already taking him back toward the fight. Some urge made him look up and realize he is in a forest.

Once he is close enough to tell some of the details of battle, he moves a great deal slower. Only at the closest he dares to come does he climb a tree and watch avidly what is before him. His notebook all but appears in his hands and he begins to rapidly sketch and take notes. Written in his own code, he hopes this information will come in handy soon. To him at least, this was worth the risk of battle.

"Alright Tenshu! Lets see if your even fit to dine on!" Horatio gave a crackle of laughter as the golden cresent shape energy was shot towards him by Tenshu. Quickdrawing his own Zapakuto Horatio shifted the shape of his Zapakuto into the chain and heavy spear combination again. Taking a defensive stance he braced himself to take the blow full on. Horatio's defensce and heirro were above taht of the normal arrancar being an all strength and defense type arrancar, the strike blasted him back skidding but not toppling over. "What else ya got?!" He winched a little in pain from the initial attack but still..

Evil rolled and tumbled with the Hollows, snapping at their masks, ripping them off with her claws. The Zaigou symbol glowed on her paw, but she repressed it, for going Zaigou in this form wouldn't be good.

Jin pokes his head from around the corner and see's Sho is wounded and the fight that is going on. Jin runs to Sho and says, "i can't heal you while you are standing and this isn't the time to have you lay down. I'm gonna wrap your wounded arm to stop the bleeding and i will heal you when this is all over ..... and thanks for saving my butt back there .... I won't forget it." Jin wraps Sho's arm and ties it off to stop the bleeding. He then turns around and heads to the back of the cave and takes cover.

Shaking his head Jin says, "I have to learn how to fight after this ...."

"Why don't we... Stop this game.... and just kill the source..."

-=Revlis was Refering to the garganta in the air high above the forest. Hollows were constantly pouring forth from the mouth of the gateway. Killing the hollows that came from the thing was as useless as trying to pail water out of a sinking ship. Dashing below the gate way, Revlis raised his right arm to the sky. Dropping his sack to the ground at his left he then used his left arm to brace his left by holding his right by the forearm. Opening his right hand palm and pointing it at the gate. Revlis began to muster the energies of the zaigou into his palm. His air and fur seemed to raise as he collected energy into his right arm. He was preparing to ready a Reido of great proportions. His tails began to glow as did the tip of his ears. Markings of caligraphy and kitsune text began to etch on REvlis's fur, burning aglow. Three scratch like markings glowed on the side of Revlis's nose.=-

"Hope... This works"

-=Revlis discharged the Reido. A single large dark red tinted snow white reido beam fired off from his palm high into the sky, braids and helixes of energy danced around the reido as it shot. The Reido crashed through hollow after hollow before initially crashing into the garganta, destroying the gate way and closeing it at the same time. =-

-=The recoil of the fire shoved Revlis down onto the ground, after such a power drain, his body couldn't retain him being in the Zaigou like state along with the bloodlust state of mind aswell. Panting heavily, and his mind a tad bit light headed. He was vulnerable. =-

He gulped hard feeling the pressence of another Arrancar come into the area. He had to straighten up and get back in line like all arrancar should do. Kill shinigami. But that wasn't the reason he was here, infact he didn't even want to eat his food... he'd prefer to play with his food instead for now. A look on panic wrapped around his face as he looked to see Ophelia at his side. "Oh lord... Why'd you of all people follow me here? and me stealing?! I haven't even caught a single one yet!"

Horatio suddenly stopped motion less to witness Revlis's Reido light up the sky and break the gate. Looking down to Revlis, Horatio gasped slightly. "It's He! Thats what it was! That's the scent, the presence!.." And as predicted with Revlis vulnerable, several hollows began to move towards Revlis. Horatio's mind raced, Revlis was the source of him being here at all and comming here, and Horatio took keen interest in this source of interest, he wanted to preserve that interest for aslong as he could. But with Ophelia here, he couldn't dare even try to help the shinigami or so be branded a traitor by the Arrancar and then slain by Aizen or others.

Horatio had to think fast... Then it came to mind.

Ophelia, played her claws across Horatio's shoulder, leaning close, her putrid, meat smelling breath puffing in her face.

"Horatio...You're not thinking of doing anything...disobedient...Now are you?" She dug her claws into his shoulder, seeing his confused look on her face.

With so many tasy Shinigami around she licked her lips, her appetite rising.
