Reno chuckled and brushed hsi hair back."Name's Reno,Im with the Hunter's.Heard you guy needed some more people to be Shadowstalkers so I decided to become one."It was hard for him to keep everything stright since he was so hammered but somhow he was able to.

Edith could not help but be touched by how concerned Tokeru was for her and how protective he had become of her within these short few days. It reminded her much too much of Reno and how he had been there for her, what he had done for her, and how easily Tokeru's body and lips against her own had made her forget all that. What she had done was awful and right after Reno had confessed his own love for her. What was she going to tell him now?
Uh. So there was this leader of the Shadow Stalkers and we kinda started out having cake and then a cake fight and then things just turned on from there...
I'm so ******** screwed up! I'm a b***h, a whore, a hoe! All those kinds of words that the Lord is now staring at me in shame for even thinking them.
Somehow she felt inferior to Reno, like he deserved so much more than her screwed up now two-timing self. He had not sinned as she had. It would probably be for the best if he left her, even if it would make her feel like s**t. She was scared of what she had done to those people, afraid that she would do the same to Reno. That she would possibly take advantage of his affection for her then bite into his neck as he slowly embraced her... At least if she decided to do such a thing to Tokeru, Tokeru would probably have enough sense to kill her or force her off of him at the very least. Reno likely would not be able to do either.

Tokeru watched strangely as Edith didn't respond at all. He thought that by the look on her eyes, she was downing (i know its not a word but shhh)
herself mentally. He looked her in the eyes. "I don't know what you're thinking, but you are human, maybe not literally, but you have the heart of one. You are more human than anyone i know. You care about everyone and put their feelings before yours. That's what it means to be human. Even if you are a vampire now, it won't change anything about how anyone thinks or feels about you, least of all me."
He kissed her gently. "You are more human than I am. Come on, I have wings, steel-like bones, nanobots in my blood and blood red hair. I mean really. Compared to me, I am the vampire and you are the human." He said trying to make her laugh.

Tokeru's attempt to make Eden laugh backfired and it made her feel worse than she already did because she was acting selfish. "I'm so sorry," she said remorsefully to Tokeru, "Tokeru... I wish there was something I could do. But the fact is that I'll never be human again, not after what I did to those people without even a second thought. I killed them like they were just dominos to knock over and stamp on afterwards."

Tokeru smiled gently. "Edith, what you did was not your fault, you said the same thing to me when i did it. And besides, being human in name is not everything it's cracked up to be. Believe me, I get stranger looks that you ever will. You may not be human, but you're human enough for me.
He hugged her and held her close. "I will be here for you, no matter what happens. Anything you want, just say it, and I will give it to you."

The fact that she had said the exact same thing to him when he had done almost the exact same thing actually managed to register in her mind. She had trapped herself, if she said she did not mean it then Tokeru would be upset, and if she did not say it then she would have to accept that she was not horrible when she was. It had been her fault, no one but her had made her do it. People were responsible for their actions and she was not immune to that rule. Somehow she would justify what Tokeru did and charge what she had done.
"Never," Edith said, embracing him back, "would I ever ask of anything or expect anything of you. Anything is much too wide a range. Anything is what it means, anything. There are some things I could never ask of you."
She realized how much of a friggin sap she was being and quickly altered her mood swing. Now she was putting on a show, she could show the sorrow after thw show. "Then again," she said mischeviously, "if I could ask for anything..." Edith allowed the rest of that sentence to remain unsaid, hell if she knew what was going to splatter out of her mouth. She had been given the option anything, that left a wide range of possibilites. Instead, she winked at him.

Tokeru smiled lustily. "When I say anything, I do mean a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g."
He quickly sobered up. "But remember what i have said. If there's anything you want, I will be here for you."
He kissed her hungrily again. Still holding her closely, his hands running up her back, teasing her, loving her, caressing her.

Edith chuckled menacingly and smiled a devious smile when he had told her he had in fact meant a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. She would not hold him to his word, but perhaps some time she could take anything for a test drive, see how far she got before she crashed and burned. "I won't forget," she said before he kissed her, "I have the memory of an elephant. And as the saying goes, they never forget..."
As he kissed her, she found her mind reeling, she felt herself swept up. Figuratively of course, but she felt like she was literally flying. When his hands found their way to her back her kiss deepened and she trembled from her pleasure and excitement. Tokeru was a livewire possibly capable of being as electrifying as herself.

Tokeru lost himself in the moment again, completly forgetting about what happened, the office break-in, the work that needed to be done and his role as a Shadow Stalker. He was supposed to train the new people, but all that dissapeared as Edith responded to him. All his responsibilities, his judgement and his job didn't matter at the moment. Once again, all that mattered to him was her. Her and only her. And he tried to show her that.

Edith's troubles were washed away by Tokeru's gentle caress and his wild, passionate kisses. Everything for her had faded into the background, she would remember them after she was finished with this moment. She was thankful that this had begun again, even though she would be hated for it, she loved this and found herself loving this man. Why else would she respond so strongly?

Tokeru found himself sinking further and further into Edith's embrace, once again sinking into her, completly and fully. It was like he was becoming one with this woman, this vampiress that had stolen his heart. How he knew, he didn't know, but he knew that Edith was the one for him. She was someone that had gone through the same things he had, done the same things, had the same experiences. That is what made this so magical for him, that they were the same, and yet opposites of each other. She a vampiress who was afraid of what she was doing to others, him, a hunter who didn't matter what happened to anyone, except for her.
He slid his hands further up her back, pulling her towards him, pressing his chest against hers.

That very connection, the fact that they were so simular and yet so different was what had drawn her to him. He had captured her heart, there was no way on earth that she could let him go now. She had fallen for this supposedly big bad Shadow Stalker leader and she had discovered that he was not as bad as her brother had told her. No... The Tokeru she knew was nothing like what she had heard of. This man... this man was a good man and he would know it if she had to pummel his a** to prove it to him.
As he pulled her closer, her hands once again found their way to his crimson red hair. She did not care what he said about it, she thought it was beautiful, radiant, divine. Everything about him was, she did not care that he was not human, that he had wings, what he had done, what others said about him. She had seen him for herself.

As he felt Edith's hands go through his hair, he did the same to hers. He stopped kissing her mouth, and started kissing her neck, first the top, the moving downwards, towards her shoulders, his hands running through her hair as hers ran through his. His lips caressing her neck, shoulders and (that small hole at the base of your neck) collarbone area. His fingers undid the band that kept her hair tied up in a ponytail, letting it cascade out into a shower of luxourius(sp?) curls.
This woman was the earth for him, and he would do anything to keep her by his side. No matter what, nothing could take her away from him, he would do anything to stay with her, do anything to be with her, in body, mind and soul. Edith was perfect, gorgeous and of like mind as him. He loved everything about her, her voice, her body, her hair, and yes, even the fact that she was a vampiress. Nothing at all would be able to rend them apart, nothing. Not even old loves, not even family. He didn't care what anyone thought, he would be with her if it meant running away with her and hiding. It didn't matter what happened, he knew they would be together. He knew that even Draegan, the vampire elders, the lycans and the demons combined wouldnt be able to keep them apart. He knew all this and he showed it to Edith, by trying to give her pleasure and excitement that she had never known.

((Hehe, just thought of something, the mods must be going eeeee. Keep it pg-13 you guys. And my question is, pg-13 by canadian standards? or american. Because canadian pg-13 movies have nudity and sex in them, well not pg-13, but 13A movies anyway. I don't even think we have a pg-13 rating anymore.))
