So her reputation had traveled this far. Clapsing her hands behind her back, Tavia continued to examine the travelers. It wasn't odd for people to travel in large groups for protection, but this particular group had some very different people.
"The elves? But I am not elvin, in fact, I'm far from it." Tavia replied to the woman's remark, "Do you wish to venture into their territory without one of their own kind?"
Tavia dared walk even closer to the group so that she was almost a part of them, but not quite. She was but a meter away from the woman. She kept her cloak wrapped about herself. If they decided to attack her, they would not get warning about her choice of weaponry.

Tavia stared pointedly at the little boy, "Well, little boy, if you have elves then what are you doing standing on the border to elvin territory still?" She glanced skeptically at the rest of their party. She couldn't say she knew a way to break the seal, but it couldn't hurt much to just simply walk through it, could it? She had never personally been in the elvin side of the forest, nor had she any need to before, but heading to Char required for her to cross this path.

"Trapped by what? This seal?" Tavia scoffed at them, "Can you not simply walk through it? The supposed elves should be able to, can they not? Can not some magic cause the seal to temporarily cease to exist until you all cross? Where are you lot headed anyways?"
Tavia stepped through the group of travelers, eyeing the man nearest the wall with scrutiny. She placed a gloved hand against the supposed wall, and was surprised to feel that though it was invisible, it was quite solid. She whispered in a tongue native to mesmers, "Why do you stand, dear wall? Can you not let us pass? What is keeping you standing?" Her efforts were rewarded with a slight hissing sound from beneath her fingers. A small clear hole gaped where her hand had been before quickly resealing itself. It mocked her abilities. Tavia frowned and crossed her arms.
