ooc: Okay, I think I'm done multitasking >.> Also, Tryan's condition is reversable if you find a way. It just can't be all at once.
bic: Tryan looked at Silver when she spoke, but didn't stop eating at any point again untill he'd finished nearly every scrap of anything that used to walk, fly, or swim. Then he started picking through the fruit. After eating several strawberries and some grapes whole, he tried one of the bigger fruits. And got an orange stuck to his teeth. After much gnawing, and pulling, and slurping, he both managed to remove the orange, and suck all the juice out of it, leaving a pulpy, shredded mess.

>>Silver laughed<< You're suppose to remove the skin first.
>>She thinks about doing it for him, but decides stealing his food from him wouldn't be nice. He wouldn't understand. So instead she just watches with a small smile<<
My, wherever you've been they must not have been feeding you well. You probably ate half your body weight already. Don't go too fast, you'll make yourself sick.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
>>Tyera smiles at Rinoa<<
I'd probably think the place was haunted.
>>The smile turned slightly sad as she thought about her own father and how they had worked together to build up her abilities. Then another thought occurred to her<<
Was your father also telekinetic?
>>She wasn't sure how the girl would learn to use her abilities if there wasn't anyone to teach her. Maybe like seer abilities they would grow anyway. But without guidance Tyera knew her abilities would have driven her insane<<
*Rinoa shakes her head.* No, actually he wasnt quite as gifted as I am. He told me though that mother had similar gifts, so I think its only fair to say her sides likely where I got my blessings.
Tryan was a little startled by her laugh and looked up at her. He swallowed the half-squished chunk of banana he'd just managed to tear away from the rest of the fruit, peel and all, and then, just sat back. He wasn't shaped well to sit in a chair and nearly tumbled himself over backwards before catching himself by the nails on the edge of the table. He managed to balance himself for several seconds before he slowly began to continue tipping, atwhich point he flattened his ears to his head in annoyance. With an undignified squawk and plenty of clinking from the various pieces of metal adorning him, he managed to tumble himself off to the side in a slightly more controlled manner than if he'd simply fallen backward. It was still quite undignified, not that he seemed to notice or care about any such sort of thing. He climbed to his feet with a snort, gave himself a good shake and proceded to clean himself up and preen his feathers.
Im sorry. It's nice that you have something of your mother. she says after a long pause. Tyera hadn't meant to bring up sad memories.
Silver shoots up, almost knocking over her chair when Tryan falls. She comes over to him« Are you alright? »she sees him preening like a cat saying nothing happened«
Tryan jumped just a tiny bit at her sudden movement, but then, other than swivelling one of his ears in her direction in order to listen to her, he kept on pretending nothing had happened. His tail twitched back and forth, dragging the feathers across the floor over and over with a faint swishing noise. He extended his right wing partially and raised it up to get at some of the feathers underneath starting at shoulder and moving out, doing a quick inspection. By the time Silver got to him he'd reach his 'wrist' but when he did he took his time arranging all the small feathers in the strange joint, and under and around the bracelette he'd still been wearing when his shape changed.
Zejx let the girls talk while he thought about what food he wished to order. It had been so long since he had a choice. Finally he wrote down seasoned rice and grilled ham. "That should serve as a good start."
He turned to Rinoa. "So might I ask the reason for your blacksmithing? Must be something important if you spent that much time on it at once."
>>Silver was smiling at his preening, but then it turned to a frown as she noticed his wrists. The bracelet disappeared into his flesh. She wondered if it hurt, he was being extra careful around there. She wondered if anything could be done about it, if they could it would definitely involve surgery. She nearly winced at the thought. It was an odd mix of magic and medicine that Ontaros had come up with where he could cut a person open and fix an internal problem then close them back up. Silver didn't know anything of it. But getting those bracelets off was beyond her ability. She kneels down in front of Tryan and gestures to his wrist<<
Can I touch them?
Tryan didn't even pause, he just turned his attention in her direction, looking at her sideways the way birds sometimes did when inspecting something close up. He finally stopped about halfway through what she was saying, dropped his 'paw' to the floor and gave himself a good fluffing. Then he just sat and stared at her as his fur and feathers slowly settled themselves back down. After a moment, he leaned forward and sniffed her hand. Perhaps she has something else to eat! Something tastey that wasn't there before.
I guess you didn't understand that.
>>She sat and looked at him, letting Tryan sniff around her hand. She didn't have anything in it, so he probably grew tired with it quickly. Then she stood. Might as well take him to the medical wing and see if they could think of a way to get those out. Having them embedded like that not only would cause discomfort in the least, it also doesn't close around it right and can lead to infection or the body will attack the metal as a foreign object and lead to sickness<<
Come on, follow me.
Tryan did indeed tire quickly of that fruitless investigation and sat back again. As soon as she stood, he stood, but it wasn't until she called him that he actually moved to follow her. He managed to keep up with her at a walk without too much difficulty but he was much slower than he used to be and it was obvious he was virtually no good for ground travel. He would do just fine indoors, no problems, or outside in the gardens or lawns, anyplace safe really. But if he went anywhere where he might need to run, or act quickly, he'd be in trouble on the ground. Any door they came to was an obstical too. Or at least, he seemed to think so. He passed through each one with the same tedious caution as he had coming through the door from Lythus. He had to make sure no part of him touched any part of the doorway, and that he didn't step on the threshold.
*Rinoa thinks a moment before she responds, though not vocally at first. She closes her eyes and slowly exhales. At the end of her breath, a very large sword blade, completely lacking in hilt, pointed and sharp on all sides appears near her, just hovering off the ground, slowly spinning in place.* And there are six more like it. *The flat of the blade on both sides was covered in runes betweent he edges.*
>>Tyera's eyes get a little big, that is a HUGE blade! Were those runes? So it was magically enchanted. No wonder it took so long<<
*Rinoa shakes her head* That I doubt very much. I still havent even had any time to practice with them at all but Ontaros believes I should do fine with them. Also you know more about whats going on, all I know is what little our host has told me.
His food arrived and he was about to take his first bite when Rinoa spoke. "Wait, we know more?" He set his fork down. "What exactly has our "host" told you?" He had a feeling he knew what she was about to say, but he wanted to make sure.Was Ontaros preparing others for the fight against Chaos? He didn't like the idea of others getting involved.
