Phoenix looked at the Dragon at her gate. Her notril flared. His scent is off, she thought to herself. He smells like a Demon. She growled a low warning to the stranger. "State your name and clan stranger," she ordered.
Gerovf dove. Gerovf landed next to a strange Dragon Gerovf didn't know. Gerovf growled at the stranger and paced to Phoenix's side. Gerovf knew every Dragon in existance. It was Gerovf's job. She did not know this Dragon. Gerovf was angry.

Turaz smiled."I am Turaz of the Flameshard clan based in the volcano of Mt. Korinasci. I would have been here sooned but some dragon slayer cast a spell that forced me to fight demons." This would explain his demon scent. He bowed low to the dragon queen."Is there something you wish of me...?" He said thoughtfully, slowly.

Phoenix cocked her head at the stranger. "Well," she said slowly. "All underling Dragons are supposed to be in hiding until the red alert is lifted. Why did you come here? You are supposed to be hiding with your clan in your clanhome." She crotched low in front of the stranger and ignored his bow.
Gerovf watched the stranger. There was something strange about this stranger. Every Dragon heard the call for hiding. Why didn't this stranger? Gerovf growled and leaned in close to his Queen.

Andrec could teel just from the dragons voice that he was different from the others. In fact he had a presence that reminded him of his former masters....but perhaps he was just another type of dragon. Hed let Phoenix decide.
Methlar paced slowly in front of Sunahr. "There is another matter we must deal with: The human sacrifice that we shall need. Who shall be the one whos life shall seal ours?" he asked him.

Phoenix knew this new Dragon set all the other Dragons on edge. How does this stranger not know the meaning of my Cry? She thought. Something is not right with this newcomer. I will get to the bottom of this! Phoenix paced closer, Gerovf slicking to her side. That in itself made her edgy. Gerovf was never protective unless Gerovf needed to be. Phoenix ran her nose down the strangers neck and sniffed his wing line. "I don't believe your story stranger," she said, stepping back. "I believe you are lying to me. Gerovf will decide your fate."
Gerovf looked at Phoenix and nodded. Gerovf walked forward and sniffed the stranger like Gerovf's Queen did. Gerovf growled and thought about what to do. "Do you have anything to say to Gerovf?" Gerovf asked. The Silver Dragon's voice was ancient and rusty sounding, like it hadn't been used in a thousand years.

Turaz sighed."I would have. I truly would have stayed with my clan, but the dragon slayer that came was different. My family couldn't escape. He slaughtered them all. I barely clawed my way out of the volcano before the thing collapsed." His voice spoke the truth. He had escaped the volcano when a dragon slayer came for them. Only he'd been captured and fused with a demon. The slayer had been Sunahrs son, Seth. The dragon sighed. "I had no idea where else to come, so I went for the advice of the queen." Sunahr smiled."But my friend, surely you remember our original plan? There was a traitor in your midst. I foresaw it and suggested a family counterpart. The sister of Andrec is my suggestion. Meesha Bletid should die." He said the last four words with finality.

kokiou continueusly walked back and forth. "he has to be okay. but what if he isnt!" she nervously bit her finger nails and looked at claes. "you think i should go back and get him??"

Methlar nodded. "Indeed. Her elven blood should suffice. But still....." he said trailing off thoughtfully. "Andrec was my most capable man and so young...so full of potential...." he murmured. "I want to do all in my power to draw him back. Perhaps the loss of his sister could work to my advantage if he beleived it was his own new ALLIES responsible for her murder." he said grinning wickedly. "Yes indeed it would not take much. Just the right pusuasion and Andrec shall serve me again." he said wickedly. "But we'll of course need to frame it correctly starting with me warning him . He'll not beleive me of course and then we shall sacrifice his sister in secret and convince him it was the his allies' doing. Then I shall offer a chance of his servitude again only this time I shall bind his very soul sealing his will to me forever." he concluded.

Phoenix waited in anticipation of Gerovf's decision. She braced her talons against the crystal floor and dug in.
Now Gerovf knew this Dragon was lying. Gerovf roared loudly in anger. No Dragon other than Bane and Firestone had been slayed in many years. It was Gerovf's job to know everything about the lives of the Dragons. The last mass killing in volcano clanhome had been a long time ago. "You lie," Gerovf growled out. Instantly, every Dragon in attendance roared in anger. No one lied to Gerovf. "Tht last mass killing was many years ago," Gerovf said. "No Dragon escaped alive or uncaptured by a Dark Mage Slayer. You lie to Gerovf. You will pay for your deciet." Gerovf rose to Gerovf's full height and moved forward.

Turaz roared."Damn your intellects, Gerovf!" HE yelled as he leapt over and swiped two of the humans down, Meesha and Andrec. "Give me what I want or they both die!" Sunahr smiled. "We can simply have Turaz return with her, then pass her death off on the others." Sortai looked up as Teka entered the clearing. He looked down again. Claes smiled."I'm sure he's fine."

Andrec stopped struggling in vain and just smiled instead. "You dont know of my poweres dragon." he said the teleported out of the dragons clutches and stood in front of Turaz with his longsword raised to his neck. "Release my sister or Ill slit your throat so deep that your blood shall stain these stone floor with five seconds." he growled pressing his blade hard against the scaley skin.
"Then give your beast the order. The less they can suspect about him the better." Methlar told him.
