"Cool?" Saber made a face. "Cool is not the word for it..."
Azaroth sighed and leaned against the counter as he finished the biscuit. "Thank you, Lilah - for the meal."
"Valzar helped too," Lilah reminded him.
Arcanon glanced over at his brother, gently touching his shoulder, "Erian?"

Synne smiled at him "Well I think your cool. Can you do it just for me?"
Ro smirked into her tea and brought her dishes to the sink "Thank you Lilah and Valzar. It was very good." She washed her dishes and turned to Synne "Once your done eating come to my room for lessons. You can talk to your brothers at lunch and dinner if they're around."
Synne pouted "Okay..."
Erian jumped and looked at Arc questioningly "What?"

Azaroth narrowed his eyes on Saber and Proteus as they tried to sneak out of the room, "Hold it, you two. Lilah and Valzar made this meal, the least you can do is clean up."
"Azaroth, that's not necessary..."
"At least they're going to help," Azaroth fixed his eyes on the boys. "Right?"
"Right..." Saber muttered.
"Yeah..." Proteus echoed.
"I just wanted to make sure you're alright," Arcanon said quietly. "You looked a little..."

Synne giggled at the boys
Ro raised an eyebrow at her "why don't you help them Synne and then come upstairs..." She paused "No magic."
Synne frowned "Aww.. but thats too much work!"
Ro just gave her a look
Synne fidgeted "Yes mommy.." and got up to help clean up the dishes.
Erian shrugged "I'm fine... I guess I'm feeling a bit... overcrowded..." He looked around at everyone again and sighed. "Synne's going to keep getting in trouble if she keeps pushing mom. She's trying to get dad and Lilah on her side. Mom's going to bring out The Bracelet soon... and then Synne really will cry."

Arcanon blinked, "The what?"
Lilah shook her head and moved to help the children put everything away.
Valzar slipped out of his seat and went off in search of his book. He had some spells to catch up on.

Erian frowned "The Bracelet. Its not fun... it cuts us off from our magic. Its still there so we don't get sick or anything.. but we can't access any of it.. only if Mommy lets us. I had it once and Synne's had it three times. She sobs the whole time... it feels very cut off and empty when we wear it. Mom said it was because we proved we weren't responsible enough to use our magic so she'd make us work without it."
Ro went upstairs to get Synne's lessons ready.
Synne glanced out the door and grinned, seeing Ro was gone, and quickly finished the rest of her dishes with magic.
Erian cringed when he saw that "She's going to get it... we NEVER get away with stuff were not supposed to do even when mom is out of the room. She ALWAYS knows..."

Arcanon made a face suddenly very happy he didn't have magic. It seemed to make everything more complicated.
"Synne..." Azaroth frowned. "What did your mother just tell you?"

Synne gave him a pleading innocent look "But it was so hard... you won't tell will you?"
Erian shook his head.. this wasn't going to go well...

"Synne," Azaroth sighed shaking his head. "You need to listen to your mother..." He paused as an idea came to mind, "I'm not going to tell her. You will. You will tell her what you did and you can give her the same reason that you gave me..."

Synne gaped at her father "But daddy... she'll give me The Bracelet! I can't tell her!" She hugged him and looked at him sadly "Oh please don't make me tell.."
Erian shook his head "Chances are Mom knows already Synne... having dad not tell won't do anything."
She shook her head, starting to cry "I don't want The Bracelet!!!"

"Synne, there are consequences to every action," Azaroth said quietly nudging her towards the door. "You must accept them and hopefully learn from them. Go talk to your mother."

Azaroth groaned. He couldn't win. "I'll be in my library..." he muttered leaving the room.
"What do you know," Arcanon said almost impressed by his father's "fathery" actions. "There may be hope for this family yet."
"Alright, I think we're done!" Lilah smiled. "The rest of you, get out of here. Go find something fun to..." she blinked as both Proteus and Saber sprinted from the room. "...do."

Erian nodded "He's not too happy with doing the fatherly things. He'll learn to shrug it off... situations like that are normal with Synne at home. You guys were used to seeing us every now and then... with Synne pretty much always happy. She and mom butt heads all the time."

"See, we don't have anything like that around here," Arcanon said shaking his head. "It's usually somebody butting heads with Saber...usually me."
