[Sorry, good day, long post, but it has a history lesson in it. Sorry again, but hey, it shows how powerful Nero Angelo is against his own kind!]
As Mike soared above the town, he began to wonder what would happen to him if he went and saw the king immediately. He then smacked his face with his metal claw. He'd be killed on sight just for being a demon! That was one fact Mike wasn't too fond of: Humans were so frightful of a demon. Sure, with good reason as most have an unquenchable bloodlust, but they attack first and ask later. Besides, when a demon puts up their hands and says they have no ill intent and gets met with arrows, they have every right to turn their bodies into corpses.
But Mike wasn't that sort of demon, Nero Angelo was a demon with a soul.
Mike was forgiving. Anyone who did anything wrong to him was usually forgiven. However, there were certain people who could not be forgiven, people who mercilessly killed out of personal gain or a sick joy. Those were the people Mike hunted in both of his forms. Demons were hunted in his demon form, and humans were met with either form. Mike recalled one of his encounters with a demon from when he started his journey.
He had flown over to a town to investigate a large tower of black smoke. He arrived to a burning village. There was blood all over the ground, trees smashed and bodies randomly thrown across the ground, missing limbs and sometimes other vital parts to live. A scream came from a building next to him, and he leaped up and flew through the window. His wings expanded on entrance to stop a hail of glass shards on anyone inside. He heard someone crying above him. He ripped his sword out and shattered a whole in the ceiling above him, making a good enough gash so that he could leap up and land in the room above. He found three small children and a young woman huddled in the corner. She went to scream but Mike stopped her with his hand.
"Don’t worry, I'll get you all out of here." He said calmly. He walked over to the wall and put his right hand above the hilt of his blade. He crouched down and with three lightning fast slashes he made a small cut straight through the wall, forming a square shape with the floor. Mike backed up and charged it, smashing into it and knocking it to the ground below. Mike picked up two of the children in one arm and the other child in the other. He leaped out of the window and used his wings to slow his decent. He set the children down and before he could turn He felt the ground shake. The woman screamed and the building exploded as a demon as tall as the building came bursting from it with the girl in its hands.
The demon roared at it's captured meal, and as it lifted her up to drop it in it's mouth it stopped and looked down at its side. The Dark Demon Slayer was stuck inside its thigh. Mike dashed up and stopped under his blade. He fanned his wings out as he crouched, and flapped his wings as he leapt, giving him just enough speed to grab his blade and slice a large gouge in the beast’s leg. It let out a loud roar as it dropped the girl. Mike promptly shifted his wings and swung over catch the girl. He set her down saying "Grab those kids and get the Hell away from here!" but was snatched up by the demon. It swung him around in it's large hand before throwing him into a building...well, through a building actually. The demon walked over to the hole and peeked inside. Mike had flown around and smashed it's head into the rest of the building with all his might, knocking the gargantuan down.
Mike flew back up as it began to rise. He waved his left hand forward and a black orb of flames grew in his hand. He raised it above his head, pouring massive amounts of energy into it. The creature turned and roared at him, giving Mike the perfect opportunity to toss it inside the demon's mouth. The creature closed its mouth and looked down. It placed it’s hands on it’s stomach right as the orb exploded, Incinerating the demon’s frontal body. Pieces of charred spine and organs fell to the ground, and the body collapsed backward, leaving a large ugly corpse.
Mike flew over to where the girl and children were hiding. “Don’t worry, you’re safe now.” he said gently. “Who…who are you?” she asked, confused that a demon was helping him. “I’m a demon with a soul. I was human once, and because of what I am I will make up for my sins by saving others.” “You’re an angel then.” the woman said with a surprised look, “a black angel. Nero Angelo.” “Nero…Angelo.” Mike repeated, looking at his hands and body. The name fit, he looked like the opposite of an angel. From that day forth, he would be known as Nero Angelo, the demon with a soul.
That was where the name Nero Angelo had come from. Mike had slain many more demons since then, each of them with various size. He was one of the smallest demons there was, but the most powerful. But with a soul, he was the greatest asset humans had against defeated a demon. Darkness fighting darkness for the light. Perhaps Mike could turn the tides of battle for the humans, even though the didn’t deserve life half the time. He had easily lost the guards and flew down at the in. He flew into his room with black flames around him, transforming back into a human. He hadn’t anticipated the floor didn’t have enough traction, and smashed headlong into the wall. Mike shook his head and plopped onto the bed, wondering what they would do in the morning.

Flint walked back toward the inn, stopping just as he went inside.
It was quiet. Most people had gone to sleep.
He climbed the stairs slowly, heading to his room.
As soon as he went inside, he removed his sword belt and tossed it on the small desk next to his bed. He then stood on the balcony for a minute, then walked over to his bed and lay down.
Flint had a ton of adrenaline coursing through his veins, partly from the fear of having to fight someone he knew was stronger...although not as smart, and partly from the thrill of the fight in general.
Unfortunately for Flint, now that he used that distracting invisibility technique against Contri, he wouldn't be able to use it again the same way.
With that, he closed his eyes, and fell asleep.

[ Mike, Demon, me and Nightwind have been talking, and we are considering continuing this rp into another thread. Due to Aisu rather frequent inactivity. We arn't doing this at the moment, however we would like to hear feedback from you guys. We are gonna give it about a week and she doesn't come back and start positng frequently again then we may have to move it over. Thoughts? ]

[Hmm...works for me, I guess. Just as long as this doesn't trickle down and die out completely with no one trying to resurrect it. So yeah, go ahead, switch it over if you want.]

[Fine by me. Though I think we would need a little more of a boost to get the story flying. If she's not showing up, maybe someone to take her place and move the story along. Suggestion of coarse.]

(that works too, Mike. But there are only three of us here, if we move it we can add more people and hopefully they'll stay longer than one or two months.)
