Reese set the gear down as instructed, a bit intimidated by the athority and ordanization in the red-head's voice. "Who's Phenix?" He asked Regina after she'd gone.

"Phenix was the one we met on the bench in the city... she was a redhead too but..." Regina shrugged. "She's not coming now it seems. She's pretty laid back. I met her on my first little run in with the xmen and she's really understanding. I'm going to miss her."

Reese nodded in understanding. "Yeah, I remember her a bit from the bench. She seemed nice. Shame she's not going. Who was that woman?"

"Uh... would you belive I don't know?" Regina answered, walking towards the garden maze. "I've met Ororo... Phenix... the professor... I think that's it for teachers. She's new to me."
"Jean grey." a voice projected into their minds.
Regina looked at Reese in shock as if to say 'you hear that too???'

Reese jumped visibly and became his beastial for in an instant, looking around in fear. "WHO SAID THAT?!"

John walked in and looked at the guy. "Hey, I'm Pyro," John said shaking the guy's hand. "So Wanda almost blew you up, huh? Well don't worry about it, she has this thing against guys. I haven't seen her be nice to a guy yet." John said with a laugh.

"Calm down reese... I have a feeling that Jean Grey is a telepath." Regina patted his arm softly. "She just didn't want us guessing who she was I guess..."
She was a little surprised by his transformation but it didn't bother her. It kind of fascinated her.

He beathed a bit and he slowly faded back down into 'normal' Reese. "You mean, she can get inside our heads?"

"I don't know honestly." Regina shrugged. "I just met her like you. I'm sure she probably just senses moods and stays out of peoples heads... it'd be a rude intrusion and she wouldn't have many friends that way."
She lead the way to the large maze made of bushes. "I wanted to go in here yesterday but got sidetracked, wanna see if we can find the center or how many dead ends we run into?"

"Not alone is good. We've been alone too far in this lifetime." Regina headed into the maze, joking with him along the way whenever they ran into the inevitable dead ends.

With that, Regina ducked out of sight between two bushes and began working her way around the maze out of his sight.

Reese smiled, liking this game already, and ran off after her, trying to listen for distant bush rustling above his own. He heard her off to his right, and ran in that direction, only succeeding in getting himself more lost. He laughed out loud, relishing not having to care about bounds or what people were thinking.

Regina giggled softly. "You're not doing so hot..." she teased, darting to another part of the maze to find herself just as lost. "whoops... hm." She began back tracking, wondering where reese was.
