Nagato slowly stood up, and walked over to gage.
"I see....so that was what you had in mind.."
Nagato looked over at jonny.
"You use the cores too? Heh, looks like I would have had competition, if I wasn't leaving."
All of his digimon gasped, they never knew about nagato's intentions.
"Well, it seems that since trouble follows me, I guess it would be best If I was never around anyone again."
Nagato walked back to gage, and slipped something in his pocket. (A note, that only he will read, I will pm to him what it says.)
"good bye...and good luck."
Nagato got on duftmon, and flew off into the distance, his digimon all following him.

Vince stood in front of the base, frozen as if covered with fear. Many things happened here before. Walking into the base, it was empty as if everyone was sound asleep. Nightmare crashed into the couch, exhausted from the battle before. Vince just sat down and let the silence overcome him. He wasn't exactly scared or anything, but he was just depressed. The greatest pain was when you watch someone die that you know, loved, and raised. He turned his head to Nightmare. "At least I still have you...." He thought to himself.

The silence was killing Vince. The boredom, the greatest enemy Vince had ever had. It was boredom! Whenever something interesting happens, boredom follows right afterwards. Vince collapsed onto the ground and looked up into the sky. Nightmare looked at Vince and than turned away as she too, fell to the ground. Vince sat up after a couple of minutes of silence and moved out into the woods. Nightmare soon followed afterwards, seeing Vince was starting to disappear into the woods.

(gotta log off now, so gage and jonny, I won't be replying for about another 6 and a half hours)

Knightmon continued to try to awaken Gage,

((Is it just me, or do I seem to pass out a lot?))

“Lord Gage, please wake up, the battle has ended,” the Majestic digimon asked through the vertical slits in its helmet. Gage stirred but was unable to wake up, angemon passed a hand over Gage’s body. There was a small illumination emanating from the Angel’s fingertips.

“He will be fine, calling on the power of Lord Azulongmon’s Core requires a great deal of energy.” Alexander explained.

When Tokomon leapt on top of Gage, Knightmon raised his other hand to swat the creature away from his Master. Having never seen this digimon before Knightmon automatically assumed it was hostile. Fortunately Alexander grasped the Knight’s Gauntlet preventing it form harming the poor baby digimon. Knightmon turned to look at the Angel, who only shook its head to reassure the armored creature that Gage would be fine.

Gage moaned slightly as he felt something nuzzling with him. He placed his hand on the creature’s head. “Alexander...?” he was feeling very dizzy and the familiar size of this digimon reminded him of his own Tokomon, however it had been quite a long time since Alexander had taken his In-Training form. Once Gage could see clearly he was able to make out the faces of Excalibur and Alexander Standing over him. Blinking a few times he started to wonder ‘if Alexander is there, and Kngihtmon is there, then who is..? Gage looked down to see the Tokomon cuddling with him. Gage twitched in surprise and picked the playful creature up, “Well now, who is this here?”

“I believe this is Lady Kaya’s Tokomon,” Alexander interjected. Gage sighed having been reminded that Kaya was no longer with them. But he wanted to keep a calm expression to not upset the Tokomon.

“Well hello there little guy” Gage said as he set the tiny digimon down on the ground. He followed by sliding off Knightmon’s hand down to the grassy jungle floor. He was still dizzy and had trouble standing. Behind him the Kngihtmon began to glow for a few seconds before its hulking armored body began to disapate, leaving only a Veemon and a box-like metallic sculpture, the Digi-Metal of Loyalty. The Armor floated over to Gage, and was absorbed into the digivice strapped to his left wrist. The Veemon rushed over and put its arm around Gage’s waist to help him remain standing. “Thank you, Veemon... Though I suppose we have your true name now, Excalibur,” Gage said was a slight smile.

Veemon gave a big Thunbs up with his free hand, “No trouble at all Lord...” it coughed, “I mean Doc...” the little blue dragon scratched its head, “Man, that was some personality overhaul... but I have to say that I like the new armor! Would be cooler in a nice gold paint but otherwise its pretty neat!”

Gage nodded and turned toward Jonny, who seemed to be leaning on a Renamon, “Styker, what is your Status?”

Gage saw Jonny talking to someone else and glanced over finally realizing that there was a new face in the area. “Greeting, Sir... I am Gage, and these are my friends Ex” he said motioning to the veemon who was till helping him stand, “and Alexander” pointing toward the Angelic digimon behind him. He then motioned to the half full pot of stew still simmering next to the fire, “Please everyone help yourselves...”

Veemon helped Gage over to the fire, and scooped out a bowl for its partner, “Here you go Doc!” handing the bowl to Gage with a huge smile.

Gage nodded a thank you and started to eat. Behind them the Angemon began to emit a white energy as its body dissolved away leaving only a football shaped digimon with a tan coat and white belly. With its batwing like ear flapping furiously the Patamon floated over to the fire and started to munch on some of the fresh fruit that Veemon had collected earlier.

After taking a few bites Gage started to feel a little better and turned toward Jonny, “If you are referring to what I helped Knightmon do before... well, I’m not sure I know exactly what I did, I seem to loose control of myself when ever that happens, but I believe what I did was call froth the power from Azulongmon’s Digital Core. This wasn’t the first time.” He said then continued eating.

Jonny had gotten out an extra set of utensils, and got himself a helping of the stew, as well as Hopmon. He was shoveling the food into his mouth, feeling as though he hadn't eaten for days.

"No, something happened to me. It was kinda like what you did with the blue core, but the egg Nagato gave us hatched and it was a red core. It powered up Justimon enough to destroy that monster with ease."

Jonny looked over at the new guy, and whiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "I suppose that depends on just where you're going, friend. And, whether you're going to shoot me with arrows."

Gage sat quietly eating, but after a while he finally spoke, “Stryker has a point, practically from the moment we arrived in this world we have been attacked with out mercy by just about everyone we have come across.” There was a short pause where the only sounds were that of patamon quietly nibbling on an apple. “I hate to admit this but it has become quite difficult to trust the people we’ve met here.”

Veemon started walking toward the Owl-like Digimon, as he moved across the Jungle clearing he rubbed his hands up each of his arms, as if to roll up sleeves that he did not have. Once he reached the Falcomon he started poking at its chest, “You better not try to hurt the Doc, or you’ll have me to answer to bub!” it stated trying to sound as tough as possible.

“Ex, please!” Gage shouted at his partner, “Just because we don’t trust them is no reason to be uncivil...” he then collected up the dirty dishes and began rinsing them off with water from his canteen. Veemon simply turned his back on the falcomon and huffed away.
