"I know what you mean, though I think for a different reason." Escarela looked at the wings a moment, hoping she didn't come across as impolite, before looking back up at the girl's face. "They're very beautiful. I've never seen someone with feather wings before...At least, not in real life."

"Thank you." Anna tilted her head a little, a small giggle escaping as studied the other girl "I've never seen anyone with round ears before...at least, not in real life."

Escarelia blinked and reached up, feeling her ear. Then it occured to her, and she also giggled, folding her hands in her lap. "Might I ask, where you come from then?" She asked, hopeing that it wasn't rude to ask.

"You may ask." Anna giggled, her eyes down as she adjusted her skirt over her knees. "I grew up in a small village in the northern mountains. Its very secluded, I cant remember ever having visitors. Have you lived here long?"

Escarelia smiled. "It sounds...peaceful? Maybe that isn't the right word...I haven't lived here long, actually. Only for a few days." She giggled. "A few slightly overwhelming days..."

Anna grinned. "It is...home." she replied simply. "I've only just arrived, it seems a lovely place though."
She rose gracefully from the ground, smoothing her skirt. "I really must find a place to stay...it was very nice to meet you Escarelia." With a quick curtsey, she turned back to the beach, a happy giggle rising as the sand shifted between her toes.

"And it was very nice to meet you. Good bye!" Escarelia said, watching Anna, before leaning against the tree again, closing her eyes. She couldn't help but doze off. It only lasted a few minutes, before she woke up with a start, and giggled lightly.
"And I just have some coffee...Caffine worked backwards," she said, smiling, as she stood up. She stretched her arms upward, then walked back towards where she had come from, humming lightly.

Shinji led Lena down a path through the woods, towards the clearing before the water. Holding her hand firmly, a towel slung over his other arm, he headed for the lush grass that faded to sand. We should take walks more often...he laughed, letting go of Lena's hand to drape his towel over a fallen tree near the borderline of grass and sand.

"We should..." Lena said with a nod, as she put her towel next to Shinji's. She slid her shoes off and set them aside before taking off her sweater as well.

Shinji slipped out of his boots and his slacks, leaving them piled in the grass under the towels. He tightened the strings on his trunks a bit and looked to Lena, offering a smile before nodding towards the water. Race? he laughed, grinning a silly grin.

"Alright..." Lena said with a laugh as she slipped her skirt off. "On three..." she looked to Shinji as she started to count off "1.. 2... 3...." she took off running as soon as the words left her lips.

Shinji laughed and started after her, rather clumsily has he didn't typically run. He made an effort to catch up to her, snagging her hand and pulling her towards himself so they fell into the shallow waters, Shinji first, pulling Lena to her knees as he landed on his bum. And I win! he laughed, doing a sort of crabwalk backwards to get further into the water, eyes on lena the while.

"Nuh-uh... you pulled me back.. that's cheating..." Lena said with a laugh as she splashed Shinji before standing to move farther into the water.

I didn't cheat, I tripped! Shinji laughed, bringing a hand up as if to block the splash from getting his face. He stood too and waded deeper, until he could crouch some and push off, moving out so his feet didn't touch the sand when he stood.
