So color works by the background, not the colored mana that was used to play it, right...

Also, what if you played a card such as Orzhov Guildmage who costs either a black or white and you played the mana cost as two whites. But your opponent has a card with protection from black, would the same rule apply since it is still black?

would Staying Power ( white Unhinged Enchantment )
allow buffs to stay on the creature or debuffs
such as Giant Growth or Last Gaps

i'm running a reanimation deck with Dawn of the Dead and Staying Power so as long as staying is on the field my creatures are in will stay in play instead of being removed from the game at the end of turn

ruling?!?! is this allowed

Technically, yes. But keep in mind it's an Unhinged card, so it's not really ment to interact with the rules in a sane manner.

Anyway, when it enchants the land, does the two mana of any colour combo replace what you'd normally get from the enchanted land, or is this in addition to what you'd normally get?

In addition to. I do believe it says that on the card.

The when trigger activates when the land taps for mana and then the enchantment adds the mana to your mana pool on top of what you would have already gotten from the land.

.....hm, ah, I see the card is not as clear as it should be now that I look at it though. Look at the original fertile ground from Urza's saga, it does the same thing and mentions that it is in addition.

It will double the counters


And if you have two Doubling Season in play it will get 4 times the counter, with 3 Seasons you will have 8 times the counters and with the full year(the Four Seasons) you will have 16 times the counters.

A good thing to know is that it doubles the counters when the critter comes into play, so, lets say you have doubling season out and drop an archbound worker, it gets 2 +1/+1 counters (due to doubling season), and when it dies, you get to drop 4 +1/+1 counters on a creature.

How would Mana reflection interact with doubling cube? Would my current mana pool double, or not.

If you say, tapped 4 forest with mana reflection that would produce 8 green mana in your pool. You use 3 of that to activate doubling cube which leaves 5 green floating in your pool despite the fact that you only used 4 lands. The end result nets you 10 green mana since it doubles 5 green. Remember, doubling cube doesn't care how you got the mana in your pool it only cares how much is there.
