acarian took a slight step back as asako jumped up and glomped kuragari. "Geebus! i didn't know it was that big of a thing between those two!" acarian thought.
vlad stood from his seat at the end of music. "acarian, where did you go?" he asked himself, walking out of the room and following his scent trail. winding through the first floor, he arrived at the medical wing and arrived at asako's room. he opened the door slightly to peer in and noticed acarian was with 3 others. to of their scents he recognized from the battle, but the 3rd one he did not."hmm, i wonder who the one on the bed is..." he thought to himself.

Kuragari was schooked to say the least. She knew it was a big deal but not that big of a deal. Kuragari didn't really notice Asako holding onto her but as soon as she let go Kuragari started fixing her cloack as some of it had slipped off and a small bit of hair had fallen outside of her hood. A small smoky smell came from the hair as it began to crumble as if it were a piece of paper that caught on fire. Kuragari didn't seem schocked though. "Opps, gotta hate it when that happens."
Looking over at the girl that had just walked in she immeaditly felt bad. 'I should apologive to her as well.' Bowing her head Kuragari walked towards Aqua.
"Umm...Aqua right.....I'm sorry about my comment about your wings yesterday. I would like to start over new and hope that you can put what happened behind us."

Asako watched the vampire girl turn and apologize to...Aqua, it seemed the name was. Just this morning she had been so down--it had really worried Asako, and seemed to spark something similar in Anne. But now, she seemed better than she had ever been. It was more than just happiness...it was like a freedom, as if a great weight had been lifted from her chest. The kitsune couldn't explain, but she felt happy for the girl.
Of course, the fact that she now appeared to have a boyfriend and Asako didn't wasn't so uplifting. What was going on with this school?! How could boys not be falling on their knees for the privilege of asking her out on a date! But that was a worry for another time, preferably when there were less people around.
Suddenly, amidst the conversations between her, Acarian, Kuragari, and Aqua, Asako thought she heard another pair of feet at the door. They didn't knock, but she did not hear them walking away.
Trying to distract herself from the oh so time-honored boy troubles, Asako lifted a hand and said quite loudly and cheerfully, "Come on! The door's open, don't be shy!" Hopefully, it'll be some incredibly cute kitsune boy who has a crush on me~! Asako thought to herself, though the actual possibility was slim at best.
((Oh, just a note I forgot to add a while back: something Magiking did made me think that maybe I hadn't spelled this out clearly, so here it is in plain writing:
All of the teachers at Artemis are benevolent. They, regardless of race, are there to educate students and inspire young minds, etcetera etcetera. When a teacher applies to Artemis, they are given an extensive background check by none other than our dear Headmistress herself--who just happens to be the goddess Artemis. Anyone with evil intentions would not be let into the school. So, please, for the love of decent writing, stop abusing my Runes teacher! ToT He's a nice guy, I swear!!))

Kuragari's eyes snapped to the door glad that noone had really noticed her hair because she did not like people worring about. With her hearing and nose she really couldn't tell who was behind the door. 'Ok so it's someone I haven't met yet. Nothing new I was hiding from most of the students before.' Stepping up to the door Kuragari slowly opened it to see who was outside the door. Looking at the boy in the door frame she could only think one thing, 'big dejavou moment.' Looking at him with eyes that would scare the most insane person she asked ina an erie voice, "are you coming in or going away." She didn't know why but Kuragari felt she didn't like this guy. Then again she didn't like alot of people.

vincent stood at the door with a look of sleight suprise on his face. "Crap! gotta think of an excuse, gotta think of an excuse, gotta, oh, i'm sorry, im new here and i got lost." he finally said, standing there awkwardly.

Asako watched, shocked, as Kuragari strode over to the door. She felt an embarrassed sweat trickle down her face as the vampire spoke to the new guy, whose face was obscured to her right now. She became appalled when her friend said, right to someone face: "Are you coming in or going away."
Oh...my...Gawd... the kitsune thought, completely embarrassed. Why the hell is Kuragari acting this way?! To someone she just met, even! Rubbing her forehead irritatedly, she decided she would have to stop the anti-social girl before she became downright hostile.
Testing her injured leg, she found that it would hold her weight the few steps it would take to get to the door. Walking over gingerly, she forcibly pried Kuragari away from her 'visitor', and for the first time, looked upon his face.
Oh... She thought, looking, no--staring, at the boy in front of her. Silver hair, strongly built...for all purposes human...but there was something else there--something deeper, more powerful; older, somehow. Wow...
There was no doubt about it: the boy before her was attractive, and Asako had completely, totally fallen for him. She felt an unaccustomed blush rise to her cheeks, and felt her heart break rhythm for a moment as she stared into his eyes...
Then, she realized that she had been standing there staring at the strange boy for over a minute. Laughing to break the sudden tension she felt, Asako said, "Hey! I'm Asako! If you're lost, I'm sure I can help point you in the right direction; I have a knack for that kind of thing! So, please, come in!" She realized she was stuttering, but couldn't stop herself...
"By the way, what should I call you...?"

vlad waited as he saw the girl on the bed get up and pry the other away. he felt sleightly uneasy as she stared at him, but didn't jump when she started laughing.
"Hey! I'm Asako! If you're lost, I'm sure I can help point you in the right direction; I have a knack for that kind of thing! So, please, come in!"
"well, i was just doing a lot of wandering the halls and getting to know the school, but sure, i'll come in." he said, walking in. "oh, and the name's vincent. Vincent Masters.

((SORRY Surf_dude, but I already missed a class and now I'm missing all the fun! I hope you won't get mad at me!...
And now, testing my catch-up skills...))
The bell had interrupted Anne and Jake's talk, much to her dismay. The philosophy class ran smoothly, and she was starting to get bored when it finished and the announcement caught her in her way to the cafeteria.
"Asako! Gosh!" After a second of hesitation, the girl smiled with a bright idea and ran off to the dorm. Breathless, she quickly assembled half a dozen sandwiches - enough for both of them and any other visitors. Thankfully her skills allowed her to be quite fast. "This will cheer her up!" Filling up a basket, she caught it - floating it would be too noticed - on her arm and ran to the hospital wing.
"Hi there A...wow, if I knew so many people would be here I'd have brought more food!" The girl looked around, stunned. There was Acarian, the vampire girl, a girl she didn't know and Vincent. Putting the basket in a table, she turned to him first. "Hi there, Vincent! I didn't know you knew Asako! By the way, how are you?" The last question was to her foxy friend,. "Should you be standing?"

Aqua had been about to reply when attention moved to the boy. she felt relieved- she was shy with new people and always hated being in the spotlight. but then her lip twitched in a slight smile. 'Asako likes him! aw, how cute. can't say i don't blame her- is is pretty handsome, but there's something off about him. And he's definately not my type.'
she realised she was staring and tore her gaze away, wings folded behind her back. she fluttered them, then withdrew them, leaving out her demonic tail. "Hi then, Vincent. The name's Aqua."
she stepped forward and extended a hand. 'Even if there is something off about, there's no need to be rude. I'm probably wrong about him, anways. and if i'm right, well, it's safest to keep your enemies where you can see 'em.'

Asako felt her heart flutter as Vincent (what a great name: Vincent...) spoke to her and agreed to come in. At this point getting to know a guy she liked, Asako would usually turn on the charm full-power, but there was just something about him that put her slightly off-balance, like she couldn't center herself. It seemed she would have to go the way most of the other "untalented" girls at this school got a guy: slowly, painfully, and with more seriousness than she liked.
However, she was not going to allow this "dull" route from preventing her from chatting with him. In fact, she was about to open her mouth for a well-placed joke, when who burst through the door but Anne.
"Anne!" she shrieked in delight, her roommate's appearance putting her in an even brighter mood than before. The basket Anne had brought made it shoot completely through the roof. "And you brought your sandwiches~!" she cried at an even greater volume.
"Hi there, Vincent! I didn't know you knew Asako! By the way, how are you? Should you be standing?"
"Better, now that all my friends have come to visit me!" the kitsune said, grinning widely. "I'm sad that I had to miss my last block, though. I fell down a flight of stairs--can you believe how clumsy I am?!" she laughed and made a pretend-embarrassed face.
It was only once Anne mentioned her standing that Asako noticed she had still been, though she had somehow managed to keep most of the weight off her injured foot. Once said though, Asako reflexively shifted her weight, only to have a sharp pain shoot through her leg and cause her to come crashing down on the bed again.
"Ow~!" she said, rubbing the injury, ears held back in pain and tail bottle-brushing. "It's only a sprain," she continued to Anne, "and the nurse said that kitsune have natural healing abilities--I should be all better by tomorrow, though it hurts a lot right now..." she ended this with a sheepish laugh.
"Now, how about one of those sandwiches?" she grabbed one greedily, and took a bite, savoring the taste, before holding it aloft to everyone. "In case you don't know," she said around a mouthful of sandwich, "Anne makes the best sandwiches ever. So I want you all to try one!" Then she happily tucked into her own.

Jusaku was getting bored quickly. He want to spar with someone. His blood was getting excited just thinking about it. He whispered a arcane word and a black raven flew to him. "Rose, find me something to do." He let the bird fly away and watched it go around the campus.

vincent was surprised of all the greetings that were flying at him. he shook aqua's hand and turned around, seeing anne come in. "hey anne!" he said in an excited tone (well, as excited as he could make it). taking the moment as it presented itself, he said, "well, i'm going to do a bit more wandering to get to know the school better, hopefully i'll see you all around!" he said, leaving before anyone could stop him. "well, at least i got out of there." he said grinning.
acarian watched the boy leave. grabbing a sandwich out of annes bag absent-mindedly, he thought, "there's something about him. . .something. . .recognizable. . .something i cant put my finger on. . ."

Anne laughed merrily at the kitsune's - she hadn't heard the word before, but she guessed that would be Asako's kind - loud compliment of her sandwiches, and sat on the bed by her side just as Vincent left. "Oh...he's gone already. Too bad, he's really cute." She smiled, blushing as she realized she'd said that out loud. "Anyways..." She suddenly realized she had nothing else to say at the moment, and picked up a sandwich to hide her embarrassment.

Kuragari watched the scene unfold in front of her. 'I can't believe she's looking at him like that. I mean...ok I don't know what it is but I don't like him...I don't like him at all.'
When Vincent left Kuragari felt better and more relaxed. Turning to Anne she smiled not really remembering if she'd met her before. "Hi Anne I'm Kuragari." Looking at the sandwhiches she pulled out her bottle of blood and took a drink.
Turning towards Asako she added, "like I said you didn't miss much we just choose instruments. I mean Acarian didn't pick one so you didn't miss much." Looking towards her instument she slowly pulled it out as the room got quiet.
'Lets see if I can make it less...well.....like the kind of place I'm usually in.' Slowly she started out low then talking a deep beath she began playing a quick song that sounded something like one of the songs she heard in a club alittlewhile ago when she was stalking a druggy. Letting her mind go back to that night and how nice the room felt she let the music lossen up and flow like a cross between a classic and a dance remix.
'I hope that I don't sound like an idiot.'
