Ryn hit the wall again as explosions rocked the ship. In the back of his head Raine was screaming curses, but Ryn had shut him out. Grunting, blood running down his legs again, he turned and sprinted for the hanger. Finally reaching it, he leapt into it, and headed straight for the Bloodfin, after snatching his helmet from a wall and putting it on.

"This sucks!", He said, as he slid into the cockpit of the Bloodfin, and powered it up for a quick retreat.

"Stupid Commander! He's going to kill us all!!!", Raine wailed, not even bothering to pay attention to what Ryn was doing.

"Oh shut it...", Ryn said, before accelerating to full, and shooting out of the damaged Hanger. Glancing around, he quickly launched himself in the direction of the Helios.

"Commander! This is Raine Kayone, signaling my survival of the severe damage to the Laeza. What do you want me to shoot?", Ryn said, his voice cold, and to the point.

"Damn... They'd fire on their own ship...?" Elzam said, glaring at the UED battleships, "... Full throttle, get us out of here..." One of the crewmen, Eita, looked at Elzam, and said, "But... sir... shouldn't we try to help them...?" Elzam looked at the ground... "I'd want to help them... but... there are too many innocent people on this ship..." He shook his head, "I know we should do the right thing, and that is to continue on, and to get these people safely to earth..." Eita nodded, and the rest of the crew looked away, glumly, as the pilot put all power to the engines...

"... I'll hate myself if I don't do this..." Elzam said, and turned toward Eun, and said, "Send out a rescue team. They may be UED, but they're still humans, so let's at least save them from getting destroyed." "Roger!" Eun said, somewhat pleased, and then into the PA: "Launch a rescue pod to the downed UED ship, and set it to autopilot back to hangar 4, and lock it off." Elzam sighed, and said to himself, "Good call..." Then, more loudly; "Now! To the earth!"

(( biggrin Dn't forget about the beam cannons from the Leos, Yath. They still count for damage. That would force you to try and search for aid and repairs in the nearest EAF colony you could find, which is fairly far away. You're going to run out of supplies soon, and would be forced tot ake your supplies from abandoned colonies that were devastated by the drawn out war, 4laugh which is a plot step before the going for an EAF base and then for going to Africa.))

"D**n!" Commander Gustov slammed his fist once again as the Yamato cannons and the Leos' beam cannons were still not enough to take down that ship.

"Sir! It's the Bloodfin!" -BEEP BEEP- The Bloodfin's still battered image came right in front of the Helios, and suspicious UED crewmen came to demand, "Should we fire at it, sir? It's in position to shoot us at any time."

"Raine... Raine... Raine..." Captain Gustov held his fingeres upon his forehead as he began to think.

"You're not serious about this man... I mean, he could just be all faking it for all we know!" Rico urged, starting to panic.

The Captain took a deep breath before making a grand sigh. He wasn't really familiar witrh this "Raine Kayone" person but the name somehow rang a bell. "I don't know, Rico..." he spoke most prudently, his intent eyes staring straight at the Bloodfin's pilot, "But somehow I believe his case-"

An urgent transmission came up from the Froogin's captain. "Commander! The Swordslicer just came back, and is eliminating much of our Zakus! We are now searching to destroy them and the Leos are full on their hands! But this guy..."

Commander Gustov noded, and turned towards the Bloodfin, "Alright. I don't quite confirm your name as being recorded in in our intel, but I shall make you prove your trustworth. Capture the Swordslicer GUNDAM." The captain ended transmission, and his determined eyes met the crew's raising brows. He did not bother saying anything, merely giving them those experienced eyes that made thekm understand that he somehow knew, yet still shaking their heads.

"Let's me see what you can do, boy... let me see what you can do."

The Leos immediately took aim and fired their beam cannons at the suddenly appearing GUNDAMs. "Unlike those pathetic Zakus, we're going to be a lot tougher for yea boy! Believe it! This is for Ray! YAAAH!"

The Froogin also fired its lazers at the GUNDAM, "Capture that GUNDAM! Shoot it down!"

Reo walks into the bridge silent and devistated that his friends all died before his very eyes.

"..."Said Reo

"24th 07 and 08, proceeding to anchor on the Laeza. 24th 07 and 08, proceeding to anchor on the Laeza."

"The sensors of the two UED warships located several incoming vessels aproaching from the Kurogane."

"What?"

"They're... pods, captain."

"Pods? Why would they actually send pods to the Laeza?"

One of the UED warships' crew froze stiff, asking, "What if they have bombs inside to destroy the ship?"

"Of course! Only pods could travel that long! They must have bombs inside to finsih the Laeza off! Send in the Zakus to intercept! Confirm the bombs! Eliminate the pods!"

"On it!"

***Laeza***

"Captain... Captain..." Her suboordnate's voice made the Laeza's captainstrive to awaken amidst the consistently rising temperature of the bridge. Her conscious ears were met with the blaring sounds of the alarms, and turned to see the crewman that called her. The crewman pointed at the hazily functioning screen that contained the visual of several small slender crafts approaching from the Kurogane.

"What could..." the visual zoomed in on the small vessels and the crew soon found them to be EAF pods! The captain and those that were still conscious awakened the others and encouraged everyone to rejoice., "We're going to be saved! Come on!"

Two crewmen took out fire extinguishers and led thw way as the crew opened the malfunctioning double-doors and were to start searching for abandoning ship, when...

"Target located..." the Zaku pilot spoke mildly, "Proceeding to eliminate vessels." The Zakus came into screen, and seen through their wide eyes, raised their beam rifles at the pods, and fired. Each pod only took one to two hits, and came burning dopwn towards the Laeza and exploded right in front of the crew, the crying faces of those that came to help vanishin in the fires. "What's... going on..." tears ran down the Laeza's pilot, and the rest of the survivors. Then came a thud and quaking along the bridge as the two UED warships took anchor on the Laeza, and held it from going any further. Soon enough, rescue teams were dispatched and sent to extinguish the fires and bring out the bitter survivors. The other ships came by and surrounded the Laeza, along witht ehir mobile suits, protecting the struggling ship.

"This is going to take some major repairs," one of the captains saidf. The mobile suits dispatched towards the Swordslicer, which made them wonder on its true intentions, "What is that GUNDAM up to? Why is it insisting on such meaningless resistance?"

"Ill get my revenge for my crewmates... and friends... they will pay!"Said Reo with deep anger speaking under his breath

Reo begins to walk towards Elzam about the trip to Africa.

"Captian Elzam we need to retreat the info on the Gigan might be in danger if we dont hurry... Because now they know where to look for other pieces of the machine..."Said Reo

((Alright... and KS, I think if I did count them, The kuro would be destroyed. again. sweatdrop ))

Elzam cursed loudly, "Damn! Those bastards... Well... at least we tried..." He sighed slightly, and sat down in his chair. Elzam took a short moment in silence for his fallen comrades... And then he looked at Reo, nodded, and said, "I know... But we're quite a ways from earth... And our supplies are running low..."
