"Remember how I said it was eating me? Well now I'll eat YOU!" Nick roared angrily. One of the miners approached him, tossing out a Golem.

"How nice. Buddy, suck 'em dry!" he ordered. The Gloom glared at it's master for his poor choice of words. "Oh, you know what I meant. Giga Drain and whatnot..." he sighed, folding his arms. The Pokemon turned to face its opponent and swiftly sucked the nutrients off the Rock/Ground type, knocking it out easily. "Got anything else?" Nick raised an eyebrow.

A Machamp stood before him, and he smiled. "This is the perfect chance to use you. Come on out, R. Lee!" Nick laughed, calling upon his Rufflet. The little eagle chirped happily, ready to attack. "Sky Drop, please!" Before the small flying type could attack, it was met with a nasty Cross Chop. Despite its massive power, R. Lee endured. Moments later, he soared towards the Machop and knocked it upwards, through the cave ceiling and up into the city street. Moments later, they both came crashing back down.

Both Pokemon glared at each other, awaiting orders from their trainers. The Miner yelled "Show him how we do it around here! Superpower!" he yelled.

"Aerial Ace, on the double!" Nick ordered. The small Rufflet flew into the air, narrowly avoiding impact with the superpowered punch from Machamp, then sliced and diced quicker than the eye could follow. Seconds later, the Fighting type fell to the ground, knocked out. The Miner grunted and recalled his Pokemon, flying away.

Nick's attention then turned to the cave ceiling, where people were looking down at him. "Sorry!" he yelled. Something suddenly caught his eye, it was a fossil! And it had a wing on it! "R. Lee, fetch!" he pointed. The Rufflet chirped before flying at the fossil and nabbing it in its beak.

Memo and the Minner both sent out pokeballs and the battle started!

Mai(Deino) VS Geodude

As Memo's new little dragon was sent out he turned to look at the boy like with murderous intent, but as soon as the boy goggled and spoke the Deino couldn't help but sigh and obey.
"Let's use Dragonbraeth!"
Mai let loose a huge gust of breath that sent the Geodude backwards into a wall!
"Geodude use Rock Slide!"
As Geodude recovered he summoned a mass of rocks that fell on Mai!
"Mai quick! Use Fire Fang to stop those rocks!"
The Deino quickly covered her mouth in flames and started chomping on the incoming rocks!
"Nice! Now attack!"
As soon as the onslaught ended Mai sped towards the boulder pokemon and bit down...hard!
"KO yeah!"
Memo praised and hugged Mai and then withdrew her.

Greed(Shelldar) VS Zubat

"Zubat use Wing Attack!"
"Greed counter with Icicle Spear!"
Greed's Chain Link ability made use of all 5 spears and ended Zubat quickly...
"Ehhh?"
"Chi?"
The Miner ran away and left Memo in peace.
"Everyone okay?"

"Come on, Rex! Let's go back to the museum!" Nick grinned, recalling R. Lee and heading towards the entrance.

"Good job, Nakura. Take a breather," Tommy praised his Flygon, returning him to his ball. He began to walk from the pokecenter to the Oreburgh gym, which was right to the left (heh) of the path from the mine to the museum. Before the group had exited the mine, Tommy had already reorganized his team and moved into the gym via the front door.

Nick walked into the museum and approached the resuscitation specialist.
"Hello! Could you please revive my fossil?" he asked cheerfully.

"Sure." Rex took Memo's, Nick's and Rex's fossils into the back. She came back out to them "It'll take a little while, why not check out the Pokemon north of Oreburgh?"

Nick nodded, heading North with Buddy in tow. Suddenly, he came across a mudslide. "Hmm. I think I know how to get up this thing..." he grinned, rummaging through his bag. "The Aqua Bike!" he smiled, holding up the seldom-used contraption. With Buddy atop the steer, Nick pedaled like a madman to get up the slide. "Ha!" he grinned, coated in mud.

He turned to face an odd, yellow tree. "That's weird." he cocked his head as he put his bike down. Buddy looked at the tree and began expelling a scent from its head, as it a superior power told it to do so.

"Munch?" A Pokemon poked its head out. The small blue creature climbed down the tree and approached Buddy, as if wanting to eat him.

"A Munchlax, huh? Alright, get ready to battle!" Nick said, watching his Gloom assume a fighting stance.

Memo skipped around the area and noticed Nick go up the muddy area.
"Huh?"
The boy turned to Cerza and nodded.
"Chii!"
"Okay!"
He put his egg down and pulled out his Aqua Bike DX!
"Here we goooo!"
He placed the egg on the basket and Cerza held on for dear lide as Memo sped up the muddy slope!
"Ahh!"
He crashed into a Heracross that seemed to be feeding off a sweet smelling tree that was covered in honey!
"Howwww cute!"
