@Rolo: The only thread that's even moved in the past five days is the Ragnarok thread. You should at least read new posts there so you know what's going on. razz
Ewww, Garth Brooks! xp
I went down to the crossroads, fell down upon my knees. Asked the Lord up above for mercy, "Save me if you please."

Umm... I know. It's a Cream song. That's why I was singing it. S'better than Garth Brooks. razz
Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsely, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Remember me to one who lives there, for she once was a true love of mine.
Ya know, both Simon & Garfunkel and Bob Dylan made songs based off of that old English ballad. Bob Dylan's is Girl from the North Country, and Simon & Garfunkel's is Scarborough Fair - Canticle. Both are good, but Girl from the North Country is easier to listen to. razz

Nah, not really. razz How about some Gershwin, then? Performed by Tony Bennett? xp
A foggy day... in London town. It had me low, and it had me down. I viewed the morning, with much alarm. The British Museum... had lost its charm. How long I wondered, could this thing last? But the age of miracles, it hadn't passed. And suddenly, I saw you standing right there, and in foggy London town, the sun was shining everywhere!
Yo, Kayky, you planning on killin' Quinn or letting me execute my trap?
Activate my trap card! twisted

If you're not careful, I'll make Kayako make Medri take Quinn's ID out of the system so he can't fly the ship!

Darn it, Kayako, you are SOOO little fun!! >____< I wrote out this entire thing last night that was pure genius, and now you've RUINED it!! GAAAAHHH!!! scream No fun at all, you! >___<
Weird rhymes? Down, town, alarm, charm, last, passed, there, where...? Those seem like pretty normal rhymes to me. O___o I guess "You broke my heart, now we're apart. I love you, and I hope you do too" with random yodelings IS better, eh? razz
EDIT: Which do you prefer, "true" rhymes or just rhymes that sound alike? O__o

Country sucks, end of dicussion.
And I am getting im-freaking-patient here. How much longer do I have to wait until I get a repsonse from Ryouki? Don't start doing like you did when I was trapped in Warusawa, Kayako! scream

I just wanna say that I was forced to listen to a country radio station on my commute to college every few days because I couldn't figure out how to work the dadgummed tuner, and some of it just seriously got on my nerves. It honestly made me feel sick to my stomach. razz Mainly it was the lyrics. Simplistic lyrics are okay sometimes, but it's annoying when it's horribly basic and predictable. Music is about leading the ear on and sending unexpected things in its direction to keep your attention! I don't even mind "blue, true, do you" rhyming if I can at least come away from the song feeling like there was a bloody point to it! O___O One other thing that annoys me is that practically every single one of them is mopey and uses a bloody slide guitar.
There is one country song I kinda like. Drive by Alan Jackson. But he does the same thing as every other artist I heard on that radio station. razz *shudders* I heard one Dolly Parton song on that station once... O___O
Now, John Denver, there's some okay country. razz James Taylor is better, though. >__>" Anyhoo... if you can enjoy it, good. razz
