Well I'm not really sure how I would make the plot. Like if it would just be a free, do what you want thing, or I'd only accept so many people and there is an actual story line...

It could be a made up wizarding school (that would be a bit of work..).
Or it could have some involvment with surrounding schools.
Or an odd twist would be a Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff rivalry, seeing as they don't get into that much (they've hinted that there is some rivalry between the two houses, but overall Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff act civil towards eachother). The book is focused on the Slytherin and Gryffindor rivalry.
You could see the controversy, right? Ravenclaws think of themselves as superiors (with their intellegence) and think Hufflepuffs are dimwits. On the other hand, Hufflepuffs think that Ravenclaws are stuck up, since Hufflepuffs have to WORK for excellence (one of their traits is hardworking), while intelligence comes naturally to Ravenclaw.
