Vincent- I'm feeling much better today. I got the autopsy report back on Jack... I can stop blaming myself for his death and stop thinking I am a bad mommy to my fuzzy critters. Plus the place I got him from will be giving me a new ferret no charge. I might actually end up with 2 new baby ferrets now. The one that has been in the pet store getting over a cold... and they are getting new ones in next week and I might bring one of them home too. mrgreen

Well Izzy isn't doing so great because she has always had another ferret around. Now there is only her and she is getting really depressed. She had one good day where she played for about 10 mins. Now she just sleeps.. looks for Jack in all the places he would hangout.. once in awhile she eats, but she is losing weight. I really hope she takes to the new ferret right away and gets better. I've been ignoring Dayton and spending all my time with Izzy trying to snap her out of her depression.

That's really sad.
It's so strange that animals can be so human like and get depressed just like we do.
