*Tavin stops, thinking hard. After a minute or so he shakes his head*
No. It just isn't physically possible. Her body simply isn't equipped to handle your time. The air you breath, the food you eat, the water you drink... The entire lifestyle your culture embraces.... It would be poison to her. Such things develop over the course of centuries... and the human body develops with it.

Bard... Its not that simple. There are funadamental differences in how her body works. How things are proccessed.... I'm sorry.... But if you she were to stay in your time for an extended period..... She would be carrying out a death sentance.

*Bard slumps, crestfallen*
I.. I just wanted her.. and Will...
*he looks up and notices Tavin has disappeared. Heaving a small sigh, he walks over to the board, selects his key, unlocks the door and steps through*
** Exit Bard **

Malazar fades in in the middle of a lecture, gesturing at a now non-present display with a book in his other hand.
"...and here you see the... Oh, well I guess class is excused for the moment. Make sure to read pages 1125-1145 for tomorrow quiz."
Malazar smiles at his own little joke and sets the book down on a table. He stretches hugely and rolls his neck to get out the kinks.
"Nice timing too."

:::Cora enters from the hall. She stands at the edge of the hall and the main room, and realizes who is there. She heaves a sigh, becoming accustomed to the idea that she's probably running into people for a reason. She stands there a moment, quietly:::

Malazar grins and gets out a second glass to set by the one he had just placed on the bartop. His back is to Cora, so it might be a bit surprising when he addresses her.
"Hello Cora, would you like a drink?"
He pours his own full of fruit juice.

:::She stepped forward a few steps. She wasn't sure if he knew what she looked like. She wondered how he knew it was her by just her presence, but then again, he'd been good at that sort of thing in the past::::
Water.

He stops.
"......Oh hell."
Malazar sighs heavily, his shoulders droping and his head bowing. Its as if his young form aged in a heart-beat simply through these actions. He woodenly pours water in the glass and turns hesitantly, almost as if he didn't want to see what he already knew.
"Oh blood and bloody ashes Cora..."
His eyes look... old, as he hands the glass to her.

:::She doesn't show much expression as she takes the glass from him. She imagines that he understands the circumstances from his reaction:::
It's alright now...it's almost over.

"Oh gods Cora, you should have let us help... They... they..."
He shakes minutely, and the glass shatters in his hand. He peers at the shards of glass and wipes them off his hand.
"How much did they take?"

Malazar walks over and give Cora a hug. No hems or haws, and no words either.
After a few moments he backs up and looks her in the eyes.
"You never mentioned, what color is your sun?"
