Ariel made it up all the way from the staircase while noticing that there was some sort of maze. The whole tower was shaken so it was quite hard to move. After a few tries, she eventually got through only to find herself in front of a grunt. However, she was behind the grunt's back. Wait, maybe I can avoid him, she thought. As she attempted to sneak behind him (like those pokemon games) Ariel unluckily suddenly stepped on a piece of paper out of nowhere. The grunt immediately noticed her at grabbed his pokeballs. "Ah, crap." She said.

Taking a few steps back, Ariel sent out her bulbasaur and houndour once the grunt sent out two of his pokemon: a bidoof and a poochyena. Ariel stared at him, dumfounded. "Seriously?" she remarked. The grunt growled at her viciously. Someone can't take a joke, she thought as she command the bulb-like pokemon to use razor leaf at both of the pokemon while sending her Houndour to finish off the poochyena using bite. They did so and the bidoof tackled the bulbasaur causeing some damaged. Ven, the bulbasaur used vine whip at the remaining pokemon resulting in a K.O. The grunt scowled and fled, while Ariel only sigh. She returned her pokemon and said, " I hope I have enough potions."

Maddy swooped down upon one of the grunts after making her way over the maze.
"Go! Emp!" She cried, letting out her Empoleon.
This grunt was a little tougher than the last two. He let out a Krookodile, the Pokemon giving Emp an Intimidating stare.
"Emp! Use Surf!"
Empoleon summoned a giant wave of water to rush over his foe. Krookodile growled, surviving the strong blow, and let loose an earthquake straight for Emp. Emp was hit hard but managed to hold on. The blow left him with a low amount of energy left though.
"Emp! Use Bubblebeam!"
Emp shot a stream of bubbles at Krookodile. The great crocodile Pokemon wavered for a moment and then fell over. It was returned and replaced with a Liepard.
"Use Signal Beam!"
Emp unleashed a sinister beam of light, hitting Liepard right in the chest. The cat-like Pokemon hissed madly, and suddenly made copies of itself. Emp looked around, confused.
"Don't worry about it, Emp! Use Aerial Ace!"
Emp slashed Liepard with a lightning fast attack, striking Liepard with an unavoidable speed. All the Liepard copies disappeared, leaving the real Liepard on the ground, knocked out. Maddy returned Emp and waited for the others.

Christian ran past the grunt who he just defeated towards Maddy. He waited for the next instructions.

"A maze? I love mazes!" Tommy shouted, sending out his Venipede and Sandile to traverse the obstacles with him. Easily doing so in a matter of a minute or so, they found themselves pitted againt yet another Plasma grunt, the team also on the main platform leading to the door. As far as he could tell, his teammates didn't know he was there.

"Let's make quick work of this guy, Mega!" The Sandile jumped forward, ready for battle.
"No, you're the one who's going to lose! Scraggy!"
"Crap. Uh, Sludge Bomb!" A toxic blob was spat out by the groundster, hitting Scraggy in the face.
"Brick Break!" The attack struck home, leaving Sandile with little stamina left to continue.

"Gah... Swagger!" The tongue-lashing Mega gave to it's opponent caused the fighting type to become angry, it's attack rising, but confusing it for not knowing why it was being scolded so. The following Brick Break was a miss, causing the Scraggy to run into the wall and hurt itself. "Now, Sand Tomb!" A swirling mass of sand entrapped the poor Scraggy, doing some damage and trapping him. In its confusion, the enemy managed to whack himself, unable to see. "Stealth Rock!" Tommy commanded, having Sandile send out sharp rocks to do damage to the next pokemon. Sadly, Scraggy couldn't manage to free itself, hurting itself once again and being buffeted by the onslaught of the Sand Tomb. It finally cleared. However, severely weakened, and now out in the open, a quick Fire Fang finished the combatant off.

"Tch! That was horrible luck. I shouldn't've had you continue to battle." After appologizng to his downed pokemon, he returned it and sent out its evolution, a Scrafty. The sharp rocks dug into the pokemon, causing it to lose health.

"Grah! Low Sweep!"
"Return! Go, Penn!"

Sandile was swapped out for Venipede just before the Low Sweep hit the bug/poison. Type made the sweep attack nearly ineffective, while also poisoning the Scrafty due to Poison Point. Penn was slowed, however.

"How about Brick Break, then?!"
"Venoshock, Penn!"

Brick Break was also highly uneffective. However, due to damage already taken from poisoning and Stealth Rock, along with Venoshock doubling in power because of poisoning and STAB, the attack was strong enough to put the Scrafty on it's last limbs. Poisoning then took effect, and the pokemon fainted.

The grunt nearly fell over in shock that he'd been defeated so tactfully. He returned his fainted pokemon and hightailed it along with the other grunts. Tommy casually walked up the stairs to where the rest of the team was.

Ariel stared at the new opponent-well, knew for her that is. Unlike the other villains, this green-haired guy wants to "free pokemon"? "Just who is this guy," she whispered to Christian.

N smirked.
"The only way you fools will stop me is if you can find the legendary Reshiram! No other Pokemon will match my mighty Zekrom!"
Maddy frowned.
"Reshiram? That's the white one, yes? How the Hell are we gonna find that?!"
"Fate tells me one of you is destined to wield the valiant Reshiram against me. Only destiny can lead you to the great white dragon."
N climbed atop Zekrom's back, the Pokemon growling a little in response.
"Look at how this Pokemon longs for freedom! How can you not wish freedom for them all? I await you at the Pokemon league! And don't forget Reshiram!"
N took off into the sky, the ferocious storm dissipating as he left. The rain stopped and the black clouds parted, revealing the setting sun.
Maddy sighed and turned to the others.
"Well, that's it for today. If you want, you can go catch one of the wild Pokemon around here. Two if you got a White Flute."
She spread her wings and jumped from the edge of the tower, spiraling towards the bottom to see what Pokemon awaited her around here.

This link will tell you what Pokemon you can catch and what part of the tower they are located. You can't catch Zekrom or Reshiram, or anything outside your rank. DUH!

"Meh. He doesn't concern me. The guys with the real people are the ones who put those messed up ideas into his head. Father figure, anyone?" Tommy guessed. Since they were at the top, and Tommy had no urge to catch yet another pokemon, Tommy called on Nakura, his Flygon, and the two began to fly back to Aqua. "See you guys later!" With that, Tommy and his beloved fast-flyer made it to Aqua in extremely good time. "You're so fast~" Tommy chimed, stroking Nakura's neck as they neared the landing zone. Also known as the beach.
