"Hey, guys, what's going on?" Keiko said as she walked into the main lobby, surprised at the amount of people hanging around (That's an assumption, but oh well.)
It was about this time that Gray Claydolported me into the main lobby of HQ.

Finishing setting up the betting booth, Reno put up a sign of the odds.
Blizz vs Tsuki 2/1 Blizz 4/1 Tsuki
Larry vs RC 4/1 Larry 2/1 RC
Kairi vs Will 4/1 Kairi 2/1 Will
Reno vs Terashi 4/1 Reno 2/1 Terashi
Having no exact idea on odds, Reno wagered on this sort of a balance. The oldies who participated would get the likely odds, while the newbies taking them on got the longer odds. Neither was too biased, as this was still anyones game. The finishing touch was the open sign on the stand. Now people could place a Snag Coin bet on a fight in an attempt to win more. The odds set up were the payout. 1 coin on a oldie equaled two if he won. 1 coin on a newbie equaled 4 if he/she won. Of course the house would take a small cut, but you still got a fair sized payout.

A hoard of about 18 Pokemon ran out of the HQ, to a nearby rock field to watch their trainer battle. Arthur soon followed, cake in hand an his Pokemon behind. Sadly Tsuki couldn't use his own Pokemon. But oh well.

Night grinned as she walked into the main room carrying two large trays, followed immediately by her Charizard carrying two as well, "I got jello-shots! Get them while you can. They won't last long."
Both she and Tatsu placed the trays on a nearby table before the girl tossed a couple back, herself. Yeah, these things would likely be gone in a hurry.

Ms Edyn Night grinned as she walked into the main room carrying two large trays, followed immediately by her Charizard carrying two as well, "I got jello-shots! Get them while you can. They won't last long." Both she and Tatsu placed the trays on a nearby table before the girl tossed a couple back, herself. Yeah, these things would likely be gone in a hurry. "Did I hear jello-shots!?" Sub said as he ran up to Night from behind. "Where is this booze in the form of gel that you speak of!?" He shouted, demanding to know.

"Hey, Reno! Whatcha doin'?" Keiko asked when she saw the boy at the booth.
"Jello shots?" I asked, never having heard of that particular desert. "Those don't have alcohol in them, do they?" I asked instinctively, after hearing Sub mention 'booze in gel'.

"On the table," Night said with a grin, immediately grabbing a pink one and shoving it in Sub's hand, "Here, these are the most potent ones."
Glancing over at Ter, Night gave him a quick nod, "They do. Pretty strong, if I do say so myself."

" I am 'ere in case ya want ta place a bet of Snag Coins on one a the fights. Odds are on the left, and you may place 'owever much ya want." Reno explained to Keiko, although his ears perked at the mention of alcohol. Popping open one of his Pokeballs behind his back, He ordered to snips, "Vine Whip ta snag me a few shots." The little Grass Snake Pokemon complied, firing off two whips to gather around eight shots of the gelatinous alcohol. Placing them on the table, he divided them in half and motioned for Kairi to take the other half as he downed one of the shots.

"Oh," I said disappointedly, adjusting my glasses with my right index finger. "Well, thanks for the offer, but... not interested."
"Oh... um, what are Snag Coins?" Keiko asked Reno innocently.
Hearing this, a took a Snag Coin from my pocket and flipped it at her. "Here, bet on me," I said jokingly.
"Oh, okay!" Keiko said happily, grabbing the coin midair with one hand. "One Snag Coin on that guy," Keiko added, placing the Snag Coin on the table in front of Reno and pointing at me.

"Jello shots? I heard those were awesome!" Tsuki said as he started to walk to the tray. Arthur soon grabbed the scruff of his collar and added "I also heard you're a minor. No alcohol for the 13 year old." Tsuki raised an eyebrow. When the older male wasn't noticing, he slipped out of his grip and sent out Saur who did the same as Reno's Snivy.

"Oh come on, kiddo," Night said, throwing her arm over Ter's shoulder, "It's a party. Live a little. Here, I'll even give you one of the wimpy ones." She smiled and grabbed one of the shots off the table and, as she did with Sub, shoved it in Ter's hands.

"Alrighty then. One Snag Coin on Terashi. Betta be a few more best or this is gonna come outta me own pocket." Reno fretted, grabbing another one of the shots from his booth counter. Downing the shot in one gulp, he felt a little more clear-minded about how to run this. Taking in a breath, he shouted, "Alrighty, Alrighty!! Place yer bets! Do ya wanna bet on the older members keeping their status as top dogs or fer them ta be usurped by the newer members! Why not take a gamble on it?" Hopefully, more people would start betting now. The alcohol would at least help people think they had a good chance on some of the fights.

"I live better when my mind and liver aren't clouded," I said, although I took the shot from Night. I just didn't consume it right away.
Keiko giggled, happy to be able to participate. Later on, she planned on asking me how I got my Snag Coins, and how she could get some of her own.

Saur Vine Whipped a neon green one and handed it to Tsuki, who was resting on the Venasaurs tree. Gulping it down, his eyes opened wide. "Whoa ma-a-a-a-a-an." he said in a John Lennon imitation voice. "That st-stuff is raaaaaad."
