Kori smiled back and started to ask,"Do you kno-- er, sorry.. I should introduce myself." He held out his hand and then continued. "I'm Koji." Maybe he was just a little groggy, but he didn't seem to be doing very good as far as first impressions go.

Luciano sighed, "I guess you're right. ." As much as he hated admitting it, Pen was right, "I'll make an announcement in just a little while," He said, "Right now I'm just going over a few things; Are you aware of the fact that we now have a Cop and a Vampire Hunter on the team? Both should be very helpful to us." Luciano opened up Louie and Rosemary's files and looked through them, "Both of them seem to have gone through some very elite training."

Louie chuckled and shook Koji's hand, "No worries, mate. The name's Louie Underhill. I'm sort of new to the team." He let go of his hand and returned it to his pocket.
Meanwhile, Rosemary was upstairs unpacking more of her things instead of going to sleep like she had said she was going to do. She sighed and sat down on her bed, a box of candles and curtains sat at her feet. 'I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow,' she thought mournfully.

"Really now?" Pen didn't have much interaction with Louie so far but she seemed to run into Rose all the time. With all the conversations they had Rose was very polite and proper something that will probably die down after she got used to everyone. However with the way she kept her brother on a short leash it wasn't too much of a jump to cop or vampire hunter.
"That will come in handy. Vampires seem to vendettas for everyone here." Pen reluctantly thought of Riche and all the trouble he had caused. Though going back to that mission, which Jade was involved, there was no mistaking that her old friend was finally dead. The vampiress, now that was a different story.
"I'll see that our new guest finds his room." Pen said in a very pained tone, "though far as I care he can sleep in an alleyway somewhere," she mumbled under breath.

KD was wondering the halls... Now where was my room again... she thought. She wondered toward the door of Luciano's office and saw a human male with yellow hair leaning against the wall... "Hello!" she sang. "Weren't you at the wedding? Dancing with Pen?"

Jade smiled and nodded. "Yes I was. she hit me though...I don't think she liked my dancing..." He laughed a little. "The name's Jade. I'm a boss of a gang in Aekea. I'm hoping to pick up some tricks and form an alliance here with you guys." He pushed up his glasses a bit, still grinning.

Luciano stood up, he shook his head at Pen, "No, leave him to me. Keep my chair warm. . ." Luciano got out from behind his desk, he stood next to Pen and patted her shoulder "I'll be back." Luciano loosened his tie, and unbuttoned his vest as he prepared to go out and deal with Jade.

Luciano took a small step back and gave her the 'ladies first' motion towards his door. He said to her, "Just remember that your problem is now my problem, so you let him know what'll happen if he crosses a line."

"I'll take that as an order, Boss Bro." Pen smirked and went on ahead seeming a little more at peace. Now knowing she had some backup in this situation she could breathe easy again. Ever since the first morning with Jade she had no clue how to handle him and his foolish out bursts. Exiting the office she let out a sigh and went down the hall without looking at Jade.
"Lets get going, Christeh. I'll show you to your room."
"Yay! I'm the luckiest guy ever! I'm going to get the prettiest tour guide ever all to myself." Jade said in an excited out burst forgetting that he was talking to the other girl before. He danced right behind, following Pen where ever she might go.
"Shut. Up."

"Bye!" KD sang at him... then it struck her she forgot where her room was... "Wait! Pen? Um... Can you remind me where my room is?" She ran to catch up to the two.

Luciano smiled as he heard Pen and Jade outside of his office. Leaving the door open, Luciano sat back down and decided to look through more files; He slipped the bulky file back into his drawer and locked it, then carried on to look through some of the personnel files.

(This is NOT a time skip, before anyone gets any funny ideas. Floating islands and their orbits work differently than planetary/lunar orbits, so there's naturally a time difference.)
The sheets rustled as Sabe opened his eyes halfway, yawned and rolled onto his back. Waffle was still sound asleep, much to his surprise as normally he's the one snoozing until noon. He decided to take advantage of it by curling up next to her and running his hand over her skin.
Pretty soon, Waffle woke up to feeling someone groping and rubbing up against her, and she turned her head to the left to see Sabe bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. She grabbed his hands and held them in place. "You are so not going to try that with me, are you?" she whined. Sabe couldn't move his hands too much, so he rolled on top of her and grinned. She wasn't impressed.
"Don't you have to see someone pretty soon?" Waffle asked, trying to find a reason for Sabe to get off of her. That was enough to throw him off guard and think about it. "What time is it?" he asked. "Doesn't matter," Waffle said while squirming her way out from under her husband, "Go fix yourself up, throw some clothes on and go out there anyway. From what you said last night, I don't think that guy gave a time."
Sabe mumbled something as he got off of her and the bed and got ready for the rest of the day.
Meanwhile, the foreign Norman lookalike was sitting down on a bench in the courtyard near the largest fountain. Next to him was what looked like a large box. On closer inspection, it could just as likely have been a cage.

"Sure its on the way, KD." Pen paused and waited for KD to catch up but that also allowed Jade to get in arm's reach. A opportunity he couldn't pass up.
"Your so sweet," he said hugging Pen around the neck and nuzzling the back of her head. Pen without dropping her calm exterior jabbed the unwelcome hug with her elbow into Jade's chest. Letting go and huddling over Jade allowed Pen and KD get ahead of him. After catching his breath he became to silently laugh to himself.
Haha, Pen, I know you don't hate me. Your wearing that hair clip I got you after all and I know you could've hit me harder. Glad you didn't, I had enough abuse for tonight.
After saying goodnight to KD, Pen keeping at least 10 steps in front of Jade guided him to his room. As they got closer to the she hid the fact she was dreading the location.
"There. This is your room." Pen started to leave but Jade called her back.
"What no Goodnight?
"Night." Pen kept walking down the hall looking very unamused.
"And a kiss"
"Hmph," Pen turned on her heel to face Jade now sporting a smirk. Walking back Jade was mixed with fear and excitement as Pen approached with a threatening air about her. "Close your eyes."
Jade did as he was told and shivered in anticipation. Only to be sent flying into his open door as Pen's knuckles came in contact with his jaw. When he opened his eyes Pen was down the hall again and about to the turn the corner.
"Well I knew that it would pack a punch." He bellowed back at her. Her form disappearing around the corner he went nurse his jaw in the comfort of his new room.
Pen stopping once she turned the corner rubbed her knuckles. What does he have a concrete jaw? Taking off her heels she went back up the hall and quietly snuck into her room, taking down her nameplate as she did.
What awful planning. It had to be the room opposite of mine.

Luciano eventually left his office to go to his and Michelle's room; He knew that the group would be too tired, and exhausted to take any bad news. So he was going to wait until the next morning.
Luciano took his dress shirt off and put on some deodorant, he sighed "I've been in command of a unit before. Why is this so difficult?" he said, then put on a clean under shirt. He took his dress pants off and then turned to Michelle, who sat on the chaise reading 'Dazzling' magazine, "Because. You actually knew the leader, and you're afraid that you're not going to measure up." Then she turned the page, Luciano placed his suit in the bag it came in- because it could only be dry cleaned- and then hung it up on the closet door, he said to her, "That's an understatement," Luciano walked over to the chaise, Michelle set her magazine down and moved her legs and then he sat down. She sprawled out, ". . . I guess I'm afraid of screwing up." Michelle smiled, "You're not going to screw up, Luci. You've been in charge of something before, so this should be second nature to you!" Luciano wasn't so sure; Last time he was in charge of a unit, he got captured and tortured, and then was left to rot in a cell for weeks until his men came and rescued him.
The two of them dicussed the matter for a while, and then they decided to get some sleep. . . only Luciano never fell asleep. He stayed awake thinking about the events that lead up to this point, and thinking about the past. . and how he could avoid repeating it.
