She nods, she hadnt thoight about it like that, even though she had always thought of Lycanthropy as an infection, not some kind of magical Curse. She had actually produced a theory for a high school progect about how Lycanthropy was a blood infection. when triggered contaminated blood cells would release a mutegenic toxin into the bloodstream...

Once the younger Lycan had talked with her, and they had devised a plan, the younger Lycan left. Pulling the notebook and Kinikki's letter from her back pocket, as well as the pencil, she reads through both. Making some notes in the notebook, she drinks coffee as well as. Yawning, even though she had so much caffiene, she realises the place was packed, and she was holding up a group of four who wanted the table. Shrugging it off, she carried on notemaking.

He walks into the coffee house, knowing Xan would be there. He was himself, for now, it seems the silver kept him at bay. He walks over to the table and sits opposite her. "Boo.."

Looking up, she blinks a few times. "Its you..? I thought you'd gone.." Pulling the notebook closed, and placing the letter inside the main pages, she frowns. "Hows your back?"

"It's fine, just sore. I was going to leave... But then I thought I'd tell you this.." He leans forward and speaks quieter so no one else hears. "The silver bullet has stopped him for now.. But he'll he back. It seems silver hinders him."

Her mind going back to the knife. The solid silver knife. "..It does...?I see.." Looking distracted, she rests her head on a hand. "At least it has a weakness, and we know it." She said, cheerfully, not wishing to talk more about yesterdays events.

"Of course not." She looked rather upfronted that he could suggest she did. Leaning back on her own chair, she thinks of things she could possibly converse with him about. "I met a young Lycan earlier. She knew you. Seemed to dislike being what she was.. I agreed to help her.. Um.. Vampires havent really been all that active.. Well, malicious ones.. Demons have been the usual.. Just in case you didnt know."

"Just making a few notes that I've managed to pick up. Tonight I'm going to read though that book.. See what I can pick up from there. See if Logan shows herself again tonight." Feeling guilty, but still pretty annoyed at Logan, she looks out of the window at the few passing mortals. The coffee bar was still packed, and she liked that. Noone could 'accidently' hear the conversation.

Blinking, then putting both the letter and notepad in her back pocket very quickly, she smiles slightly. "Yes. After a mortal was nearly 'concussed by the friggen thing!'" Smiling at rememberance, she shakes her head slightly. "New Yorkers. Thats why I thought you'd gone. And dont worry about yesterday.. Its not you. I know that. Logans figuring it out, in her own time."

"I can never forgive myself for that... I never will." He looks down at the floor. "Is your stomach okay..?" He didn't dare look at her again.

"Kinikki, stop hurting yourself for what he did. I'm not totally stupid. You wouldnt do that to Logan or me, ever. My stomach is.. Well, its getting better. Though I think the coffee has something to do with that." Watching him watch the floor, she sighs. "So, your never going to look at me again?"

"It is my fault damnit! If I would have left town like I said I would, he wouldn't have done it!" He looks at her for a second, then notices all the mortals staring at him. "Sorry..." He stands up and walks out of the coffee house.
