The wedding had finally ended, and the group was now safely back at HQ.
Luciano sat in his office going over some Paper work while he had some soft music playing. Sitting on a coaster to his right was a hot cup of black coffee; Something he always drank when he was doing paper work.
Luciano was slightly exhausted, but he wasn't thinking about today. He was thinking about the papers on his desk; Several of the documents consisted of information on the new team members- Background checks and all that. Standard procedure.
Luciano eventually came across the newest members of the team, the brother and sister: Louie and Rosemary. For the longest time he kept his eye on the brother's paperwork. He was a Vampire Hunter, and he knew that he would have multiple resources at his fingertips. Luciano nodded with approval, then opened the drawer closer to the floor on his right side. He pulled out a bulky file labeled: Nemesis, then proceeded to look through it. "Maybe Louie can help me with this. . . He does have more resources than I do. . Plus, nobody would ever get suspicious of him. ." Luciano took a drink of his coffee and stared at the black and white photo laying inside of the folder, "I'm not going to rest until you're dead. . . That's a promise. ."

Louie left Aly not long after the crowd began to thin. He politely excused himself and wished her a pleasant evening. Once back at HQ he spotted Rosemary on his way up to his room. She was alone in one of the hallways staring at a portrait on the wall. "Have a nice time Rose?" She jumped and Louie couldn't help but laugh. She gave him a stern tight lipped glare. "Lovely thank you. I couldn't help but notice you had quiet the lovely time yourself." Louie shrugged, "Just getting to know the new team. What are you doing down here?" Rose looked back at the portrait, "Nothing really. Just procrastinating. I have to be at the station before just before dawn and I'm not ready to go up to bed yet." Louie shrugged, "Then don't. Why are you going in at all? I thought you didn't go back until the day after tomorrow." Rosemary snorted and said in an exhausted tone, "I don't know. G'night Louie." She headed for the stairs without another look at him. Louie raised an eyebrow at his sister's back. "Night."
Louie lingered in the hall for a little while longer before deciding to go for a walk around the house.

Clenching her entire body Pen tried not to blow her top. She tried to come up with a reasonable answer... it was impossible. Her objection to him was purely based on her own feelings. Something like that wouldn't be grounds to keep Jade from joining.

Jade watched Pen then smiled. "We had a few run ins with each other and we had a shaky start when we first met. I was under the impression though that last time we parted we were on good terms." He smiled to Luciano. "You see...I don't know how to put this, but I guess it could be put by saying we had a romantic encounter." Jade was blushing slightly now. He thought back to their time before, Pen was wearing a cute dress back then too. He thought to himself how lucky he was to get to see her this way.

Pen was now shaking with anger. Why couldn't he kept his big mouth shut.

Brought back from his day-dreaming, Jade gave a nod to Luciano. With a smirk he stole another glance from Pen and left the office.

Pen sighed in frustration and fell into one of the chairs. Her anger subsiding she tried to calm down. "Sorry, Bro. I shouldn't ran in here like that. It just that guy gets on my nerves."

"There isn't much to tell. I met him once during one of my trips to Sam's and then again during that last solo mission Skotti sent me on." Pen cradled her head in her hand as she tried not to let her emotions get the better of herself again. Jade had been out of her life for months now and she felt like it was done. Why now did he show up out of the blue and make feel like a darn fool. More Importantly how was he able to make her so upset was something Pen wasn't even hundred percent sure.

"Oddly enough during that mission I was suppose to take down the underground boss of Aekea. Low and behold I ended up battling him and worse of all losing." She started to clench her fists remembering waking up tied up and force to watch that dancing clown make a deal.

"The mission was changed and he became an ally instead of the target. Information was fed and we were forced to partner up." Yet again another memory that she wanted to keep secret. Going undercover with that buffoon and faced with the enemy in nothing more than a dress. The confusing feelings she had back then were more than prominent now remembering all that had happened between them.

"I can't say much after that. I must had black out when that vampire dislocated my arm. Next thing I knew I was back at his base. How that mission ended is still a mystery to me." She gave a pause after saying that and wondered if Jade knew. Shaking her head she ended her side of the story.

"I left him with the mission done. No parting words or anything. He was asleep at his workbench and I left." Pen laid back in the chair and looked at the ground. She did intentionally left out she did give him a parting kiss on the cheek while he was sleeping. It didn't need to be known and she didn't know why she did it.

"I don't know why he is here anyway. He has his own town to take care of."

"I wouldn't give him that much credit." Pen murmured. It was more like it didn't fit Jade's profile to infiltrate another gang's operation in such a blatant manner. However the fact Luc confirmed exactly what she thought, only made her grimace. It would help if they had the letter but it wasn't that important. It looked like Jade was staying and there wasn't anything she could do about it.

Why would he follow me here? I just wanted to forget him once and for all.

"Fine. I guess I'll just have to deal with it for the time being." She wasn't very happy to say that as she stared at the ground.

"So when are we going to tell them about Skotti?" Pen looked back up looking a little forlorn. Focused again on the bigger issue she tried to push Jade from her mind.

Pen nodded, it was still a bit of surprise that Skotti was gone so suddenly. It was also strange to here Luc say commander and refer to her. Though looking at Luc now behind the desk it wasn't a big jump to call him Boss.

"It needs to be done soon thats for sure. Longer the wait the more they think something bad happened." Rubbing the back of her neck and moving free the hair from her face, she looked over at the door. With a very pained look she sighed.

"They should know by now missing members are just as common as getting new ones. They will come to accept it,... Boss."

Louie looked around for the source of the voice. He gave the male elf a crocked smile and said, "Hello." He tried to remember who he was from the reports he had read. 'I think he's Koji Mitsukai but I don't want to call him that and get it wrong. Damn it why didn't I pay more attention?' He turned to face him and put his hands in the pockets of his black dress slacks.
