I look at Joltik. "Well, aren't you the energetic one? Maybe I should bring my Joltik next time so you two can play together."
My TADS beeps at me.
"Oh, I've run out of time. Bye Aquans!"

Rex waves a goodbye to Thard. Joltik scuttles up to Rex's shoulder, while Treecko, just seemed to be eying everyone.

Shaydas randomly entered the HQ's common room holding a piece of paper with a design for a new cloak on it. Night had shredded the last one. The Team Aqua insignia was the largest piece left intact afterward, hence why the Pawniard was left in Phenac. The Lucario plopped down on the couch and began making some adjustments to the design. Dusk, his Ralts, came out of the kitchen chewing on a candy bar and sat down next to him.

Zero grinned; finally, someone he recognized! He waved at Shaydas, and the Countess flew around Shaydas' head.

Shaydas looked up and smiled. "Zero!" he called. "Long time, no see! How've you been?" He set the paper on the coffee table and stood up. "Hello, Countess," he acknowledged the Zubat, keeping his necklace out of her sight. Dusk stared at the bat and continued munching the now half-eaten candy bar.

The cloaked man shrugged. "Eh, the usual. Ended up over-working in my room, forgot to get out once in a while. My Scyther and I have been practicing swordplay, but other than that, I've been pretty much a blob in my room. What have you been up to?"

Rex looked at Shaydas. "Hey man." Rex said. Treecko just glared at Dusk, but Joltik rushed over to say hello to the Lucario.

"Hey," Shaydas smiled in reply. "What's up?" He placed Joltik on his head on a random impulse and patted it a couple times. Dusk pretended not to notice Treecko and threw the wrapper of her candy bar at him.

"Not much, just been hanging out." Rex said. Joltik smiled, comfortable on Shaydas's head. Meanwhile, Treecko fired a single seed from its mouth, ripping the airborne wrapper in half and letting it fall to the ground.

"I've been busy in Orre training," Shaydas sighed. His ears twitched a little in response to Joltik. Dusk jumped down from the couch and glared at Treecko, holding a can of cola close.

Rex nodded. He turned to Treecko. "Be nice."
"Meh..." Treecko crawled up the wall and onto the ceiling, where he wouldn't be bothered.
Joltik laughed in a fury of clicks. "Tik tik tik!"

"What's with Treecko?" Shaydas frowned, watching the Wood Gecko Pokémon. Dusk kept an eye on him, but went to drinking her cola.

"He's just being himself, thinks he's all badass." Rex said, he sat next to Shaydas and Dusk, patting the Ralts on the head. Joltik soon was snoozing on Shaydas's head. Instead of snoring, the little bug type vibrated its body.

"This Joltik's awfully friendly, isn't he?" Shaydas asked. "Headache inducingly so." Dusk gave Rex a smile and offered him some soda.

Rex accepted the soda and smiled at Dusk. He turned to Shaydas again. "Yeah, he's just happy to be back, he hasn't been around."
