Akimbo Phoenix315 Akimbo This movie is too scary. gonk Thirteen Ghosts taht's on Sci-Fi right now. crying I totally watched that movie, too! Then Resident Evil was on right after it. So I watched that. I've been catching up on a lot of TV. crying And otherwise being jobless. The job I really wanted here in the Springs...I finally managed, after a few calls, to get in touch with the guy. They want somebody with 3-5 years experience. confused He couldn't have just emailed me back to tell me I wouldn't even be considered. Bah.

Peppermint Elf I dunno. I think they've gone a bit overboard on PC-ness on the whole thing. I knew this would drag you out of the woodwork. Anyway. Am I, as a full blooded tribal recognized Siouan, offended by Indian-themed sports mascots? Yes. I have a problem with sacred things, objects, and ideas; the drum, song, painted faces, regalia, eagle feathers, not being used/portrayed at sacred events no, but being used (pretended) at what amounts to an illegal immigrant's sporting events. Would blacks like it if there was a Black Panther mascot or team? Would whites like it if there was a Cracker or Jesus mascot? No. Yet they think its not offensive to us. Why? Because theres not enough of us to make a loud enough otherwise.
