Gaijin looks from one Lycan to the other, thinking to himself for a minute. He reaches down, slipping a large wicked-looking knife from the sheath on his outer thigh. He twists it by the guard in his hand, laying it down between them. He leans back as if it's no big deal, sipping his coffee. Oh there's plenty you can do. You can let me put you out of your misery. I'm not hired to kill you, but I'll be doing my good deed for the day so I see it as kind of a fair trade off. This other Lycan didn't much know how to handle a Hunter and she wasn't helping his mood at all. However, after that offer he sat quietly and watched the two, the silver dagger still between them.

Watching the two, she sighs. She couldnt do a thing, apart from watch. Thankfully, non of the mortals was actually paying attention to this exchange of words, most were busy holding hands, or kissing. Leaning back on the chair, cup in hand, she keeps one hand on her knee, ready to stop something from escalating.

Arceli hears the blade leave its sheath, and for a moment looks worried. But she relaxes. Choosing to ignore the threat. She smiles again.
"Perhaps I'd rather live with the pain then give in to it, or give up in face of it. So do you only discriminate agains us Lycans or do you kill vamps, too?"

Well, technically I kill anything that isn't human, though I make the exception to that rule. Normally I only kill the things that I'm hired to kill, so you're fairly safe since no one's hire me to kill you yet. Nor has anyone hired me against Xandora here, which is why she's still alive. That, and the fact that if I want intelligent conversation out of a Lycan she's probably the only one I can go to. Gaijin would shrug, it was as close to a compliment as he gave to people he was supposed to be killing. So anyway Xandora, I suppose you'd be the more apt conversationalist for this little one. My solution to things is usually just to shoot first, shoot some more, and when everyone's dead try and ask a question or two.

"You have to look at it this way; You are what you are. You cant change that now. Not many Lycans are willing victims, nor were many really meant to be them. I've grown up to realise that people who do do this to themselves, dont understand the true power behind being a Lycan." After finishing her intellectual insight, Xan happily drinks the last of her coffee. "If your scared, come to the Elders. If your confused, come to the Elders. Thats what we are, most likely, there for."

Arceli smiled again and finished her own coffee. She looks at Xan.
"Ah yes, the power to tear apart and devour the one you thoughtmight be a good guy to date, what fun. Or how about the power to wake up with dogs hair in your mouth in the middle of a park, completely naked and then find out that a 'wild animal' ripped your own pet to pieces?"
Her voice is getting uncomfortably loud, considering the proximity of Mortals.

Gaijin gives the Lycan a sharp look with his neon violet gaze. Unless you want to incite a modern day lynch mob, I suggest you keep your voice down. Because you'll be the one to die from it and no one else. So if you want to keep your skin you keep your voice down a couple more notches. You're a Lycan now, and that's not the greatest thing. It's even considered a curse by you maybe, but it is what you are now. Live with it or come out back with me and I'll split you open and end your misery.

"Your minds already made up. With the right raining, its possible to control your form. But if you hate it already, then really, there is no point. " Shrugging, she really is at a lose end. "Though the Lycans in this city are few in number, and could use you at this moment in time, if you resent your race.. You really wont learn."

She looks at Xan, slightly confused, she'd just found out two snippets of information she didn't know.
"Controll it? and why do you need me?"
She's ignoring the hunter, for now. This was more interesing than his threats.

Gaijin chuckled slightly and smiles, standing up from the table and laying a tip as well as the money for his part of the bill. He pulls out a piece of paper, setting it on the table in front of Xandora. Well, as interesting as it is to listen to this insight, I need some sleep. A nap in the Subway when I had to guard my back wasn't the best. I guess I can find some place to sleep for the night. Really need to find some place more permanent though. Oh well. That's my number Xandora, so if you need me just call. With that, Gaijin gave them a wave and moved out of the building. With a short hike across the street, he was gone and back out to get his rest.

Pocketing the number, she makes sure Kinikki's letter is still there. Feeling a pang of guilt, she forced a smile at the Lycan. "Were outnumbered, 3 to one almost, by the Vampires.. Yes, your powers can be controlled, though you'd need training. Just remember, you are what you make yourself.. Once your powers are controlled, the guy you woke up with will be fine. It'll just take time, thats all."

Her smile becomes sad. She looks at the ground.
"heh... that guy will never be fine. I knew is mom, you know. Used to live in a small town and everyone new everyone. Of course I had to leave after that. It was a supersticious little town."

"I already know what triggers my transformation, if that helps and it's not the moon."
She hesitates and when she speaks again it's with a lower voice.
"It's in time with my... Periods... I also feel it coming when I see, or smell blood or I get angry or... well horny"

"Maybe the iron depletion in your blood, and the hormones trigger it?" Ordering another coffee, she looks to the youngster. "Want one?"
