Thard_Verad Ginji, you have PS0! How far are ya? What Class? (Ozette wetlands, RAmar) -Doesn't like Rangers- I chose FOmarl but I'm finding difficulties in the play style in story mode... So I'm thinking of making a HUcast. And...I'm not very far at all sweatdrop if only because I have been busy with school work for all eternity. And college apps. All those college apps. I'm almost done with them though! SO CLOSE.

It took me a while to decide between RAmar, HUnewm, and HUmarl. I wanted to try the new classes that PSO didn't have. After I train a Mag or two, I'll probably add a FOnewearl. (Main PSO character, never taken online, was a FOmar named Gibala'das. Name is an obscure reference to Morrowind.) I greatly appreciate the casts' poison-proofing and trap-spotting power. Not to mention their sheer bulk. But I'm not sure 3 slots is enough for me to fit one in as a permanent character. Still, I plan to use one eventually to get the quest logs filled up. We should team up sometime and see how we do.

I'm having fun analyzing poetry for some odd reason.

*pokes the thread* If Ginji hasn't seen it already, I stuck some rough ideas for Elemental Mage in the suggestion box.
G'night all.

*Tries to keep dust from settling in HQ*
PS0 character types in brief, for those who don't know what Ginji and I are talking about: Hunter (prefix 'HU') - Strong melee fighters Ranger (prefix 'RA') - Weaker than Hunters, but better with firearms Force (prefix 'FO') - Specializes in techniques (spells). Poor in direct combat
Human (suffix 'mar' or 'marl' for male/female) - Well balanced and versatile CAST (androids) (suffix 'cast' or 'caseal') - Strong physically, can see and set traps, immune to certain statuses, can't use techs. Newman (suffix 'newm' or 'newearl') - Weakest physically, but HUnewearl is still stronger than FOmar. Good with techs, can't be Rangers.

Mags are... helpful. I'm only just starting out too, so I don't know the entire process of raising a perfect Mag. However I can relay some of the basics that I've figured out.
A Mag grows by eating items. As its stats level up, it passes stat bonuses on to you. At certain levels, it will evolve according to its stats (and probably other factors). The first evolution is at lv 10. I assume the next is 35, but that's based on my PSO experience, not PS0.
In PSO, you could only use certain consumable items as Mag food. Dimates, Antidotes, Atomizers etc. Now you can feed your Mag just about anything. I haven't even figured out all the basic items yet. As far as equipment goes, Armor tends to raise DEF. Hunter weapons raise POW, guns for DEX, and Force weapons for MIND.
Note to CASTS: Since you can't use techs, I don't see a need to raise a MIND Mag.

Notification: Tommy has submitted his fifth attempt on that mission. Brian or Ginji should have a look.
Reminder: Elemental Mage ideas in the Class brainstorm thread.
