"Hey, Thard," Shaydas smiled. "Welcome to the club. I finally have a pulse again. I've been dead the past two days." Dusk wandered into the common room, her vision completely blocked by a can of Dr. Fizz.

"I didn't think Reraise took that long to activate, but at least you're back with us, Shaydas," I smirk, not knowing if he'd get the reference.

"It's going about as well as can be expected, all things considered. And since I doubt feathers can show a bruise, this black-and-blue fella must have been customized with our specialty Color Ball."

"Good evening, Spearow," Xatu nods to Rex's pokemon.

"At least it worked," Shaydas pointed out. "Pretty nifty coloration for a Spearow. I didn't know you were that big of a fan, Rex." Shaydas chuckled weakly. Dusk finished her soda and threw the can at Xatu. She climbed up on Shaydas' shoulder and pushed another can of soda in his face. With a groan, the Lucario took the can and used his wrist spike to pop it open. He handed it back to the Ralts, who immediately began chugging it.


Yawning, Shaydas checked the time. "Hate to say it, but I've gotta get going," the Lucario sighed. "No telling what kind of damage Rex and Kipper have done to my place. Dusk is no doubt going to crash hard after that much sugar, too. G'night." He walked over to the teleporter and punched in the coordinates of his hideout in Phenac City.

Xatu halts the can in midair with Psychic. She also crushes it into a small disc.
"Did Ralts honestly expect to hit me with this?" Xatu goes in search of the recycling bin.

"Sorry Xatu, but we'd best be going ourselves."
My pokemon quickly disposes of the crushed soda can and returns to teleport us out.
"G'night Rex and Spearow."

*Walks in through the hangar bay*
"Yo," I wave to Rex.

"Oh hey! Ninjask Warrior?"
I walk over to see. The trainer with the Snorlax who completed the previous round is making his attempt at the second round's obstacles.

"Intense training, I'd imagine." Watching the duo cruise through the second round was truly amazing. The speed and grace of the bulky pokemon was especially impressive.

As the next duo takes the starting line, I point to the screen and add, "Looks like they'll have company in round three though. That guy and his Medicham have done this before."

The Medicham and his trainer breeze through the course as easily as the Snorlax team, and even post a time three seconds faster!

"Getting late. I'm gonna head off again. 'Night Rex and Spearow."
