Soloman walked into the cold night, breathing in the crisp air. He had felt sadness for just a moment, but now he felt nothing. His smiled a lacking smile as he started to walk.

"Please .. I did not mean to upset you. I needed to know .. you have explained, all is well." she said following after Soloman, still looking worried. "I am sad that I do not know these things prior to them happening." (Ooc: ok ^^;; )

"All is not well, Miss Ziven." The man said, looking down upon her for a moment. "You see, I may have gotten over it but Reeve will have a much harder time coping than I." His voice was montone and his stare distant. While he was this way it was difficult not to be harsh. "He has the mind of and elder, but the emotions of a child... and the memories of things that even I do not know. I know not where he is or what he is doing... and he is not well. I can assure you of that."

With a soft gasp, she stifled a sob, trying to keep herself under control while speaking to Soloman. She hardly knew what to say, but she tried to. "I always seem to hurt Reeve ... I know not why he cares for me still. Sometimes I wonder why he ever cared .. I am .. unkind somehow .. yet I never understand that what I say could be hurtful until it is too late."
There was a rather long pause before she continued. "Are you certain .. we should continue to spend time together? I very much want to spend time together but my desire not to hurt you is so much greater .. I will keep distance between us if you believe that would be best."
Caught between logic and emotion, she could not find any easy solution to this. She felt pain when apart from them yet the pain of hurting any of them was so much greater and lingered in her heart for so much longer. There was no way she could put this to words. "I could show you what I feel if that helps."

When she started to speak Soloman began to remove the glove on his right hand. He did so quietly so that she would not know what he was doing. When she was done proposing her idea to simply leave them alone, he suddenly turned aroung and slapped her across the face. His eyes were cold as he did so, but no emotions showed. "Sorry about that..." He said simply as he started to walk again. "I garantee you, you have helped Reeve far more than hurt him. But, if you want to leave... then just do it. That is for you to decide and you alone." His words were icy, puposefully hatefull. Soloman hated people that simply tried to find a quick way out of a problem, and this brought forth anger... which was quickly doused back to nothingness in his mind.

There was a long silence, nothing but the echo from the sound his hand made on her cheek and the sounds of the night could be heard. Looking at the ground, she spoke softly. "Do not apologize for something unless you mean it. I can tell from the tone of your voice that you do not regret having struck me.
I am going to find Reeve." she finished simply. Trying to be as civil as possible, she decided it would be best to leave, but she did not honor him with any sort of farewell as she was not pleased with his actions and lack of explanation or sympathy.

Soloman stopped for a moment, rolling up his sleeve. there were many symbols on his arms, but one of them was more detailed than the rest. He touched it gently, causing a very cold wind to blow across the area. A moment later there was a rumbling sound as a rip in the dimention seemed to tear open a couple of feet away from them. "He is there, in the lost dimention. Where the wandering souls of his people go when the try to gain immortality." Through the tear one could see a purple sky and a black sun. Everywhere there were ruined buildings and rotting corpses. The tempature inside was very, very cold and the air was stagnant. "Three things to remember; One, don't look into the eyes of the wandering souls. Two, don't take anything... no matter how appealing it may be or if you think it's yours. Three, your magik will not work in that place. No spell can be used, and everyone there is rendered nothing more than a commoner." Soloman began to walk again, not once did he turn to her. "If you really want to find him... then good luck."

As she was walking away, he spoke again. She paused, looking at him and the rift he made before them. Slowly she shook her head. "In this moment, I do not trust you, Mr Soloman. If I were to go there, I would be completely defenseless as well as lost, with no way to leave, assuming the rift will close again once I pass through. Then I will have no choice but to find Reeve or perish, given what little information you have provided."
Pausing, she looked at him more, considering her options, what she desired to know, what she believed about him and about Reeve. A thought crossed her mind. If he agreed to this, she would better trust him again. "Will you accompany me there?"

Soloman stopped and looked at the portal, sighing slightly. "If I were to go in there The Keepers would catch me. As long as I am on this plane I am safe from them, but there I am open game." He didn't look at her, his eyes were transfixed inside the portal. Already there were shadowy creatures hiding in the rubble, just waiting for him to enter. He did not want to die... Slowly the portal began to close slowly. "Stay here, if you wish. I don't really care." He turned again and began to walk away. Suddenly he stopped, a thought crossing his mind. He pulled a flute from a pouch and blew a single note. On the other side of the tear a rumbling could be heard. Soon a large black lion-like beast could be seen, its eyes red and red markings all over its body. Suddenly it jumped through the portal... and changed. As soon as the beast crossed over it shrunk greatly, became less fearsome and more like a house cat. Ontop of that its face was suddenly covered with a small mask. It landed on the ground, looking at Ziven for a minute before finally purring... It was Mask. "He can guide you."

Looking to Soloman, she was sad for him, knowing that his fate would be sealed if he went through the portal. With a nod, her expression was quite somber as she looked through the portal, still weighing her options and how strong her desire was to go there to find him, she would wait forever for he to return if that was the only way she could be assured to find him again.
When he played a single note, she was surprised and curious to know what why he had done so. Almost immediately there seemed to be a reaction. Soon her eyes fell upon the cause of the noise. Arching a brow, she watched as the creature approached, again surprised as it came through the portal. Though Soloman had shown her that he could be uncaring, she did not believe he wished her harm, so she did not try to run as the creature approached. A small smile spread across her lips as she recognized a familiar form.
"Mask! Sweet kitty, I had wondered where you had gone to. I hope you are well." she said, finishing with a small giggle. Bending down, she scooped up the feline in her arms, hugging him and scratching behind his ears, as always careful not to touch the mask. "Thank you Soloman." she said softly, lifting her eyes to view him again before nuzzling Mask with her nose.
Looking to the feline with curiosity, she pet Mask more as she asked; "Would you like to help me find Reeve?"

Soloman did not reply as he continued walking away, eventually disappearing. The small cat mew happily and purred as she scratched him behind the ears. At her final question he tilted his head, then seemed to nod as he jumped out of her grasp. He circled on the ground for a moment before jumping into the portal, returning to his other form.

Skyeheart walked up to the oak. An sapphire jewel with a bough of Irises in his claw. "Lady Alice, word of your death only came to me recently. ......I'm sorry. You saved my life once, but I could do nothing to save yours." He placed the offering by the tree. "Even though you were made into one of Ali's puppets, I know you resisted his corruption to the bitter end, you and your husband, who was a worthy comrade against Yawgmoth.
Rest in peace."

Wandering after Skye, she gave him his distance to grieve and give his respects. She found his words touching yet confusing. This was what Alley wanted after all.

"Alley has a kind heart. It would not surprise me if she did that for you. Would you care to share your story with her?" she asked softly, smiling kindly to him.
