Muses are cruel. My inability to accomplish things is driving me nuts. I need to remember the rules of curved space-time physics so I can go to a place where time moves faster than on the surface of the earth and finish my KH fanfic before the next game comes out.
Edit: Actually, I think that would be floating in the middle of deep space, but in order to get there I'd have to take a spaceship at +light speeds or at least through a wormhole, which would actually cause time to go slower for me in my current position and make more time pass on Earth...
See, not even the laws of physics are on my side.

Meriko Bri: I have been busy as usual. ^^ Going on a combination business trip/vacation next week. Upset that I have to fly, but happy to be attending this conference both as an attendee and a vendor, and very happy to have some time with Hubby at Disneyworld! heart Graaaaaaaaah, I want to draw more Jedi arts. T___T *forces herself to work instead* Daww, busy busy, I know how that is X'D And oooo! Sounds like it'll be a niffty experiance, especially the Disney part :3 (And just to settle my curiousity, why are you upset to fly?) Take lots of pictures ^0^!

No one will take me there and I can't afford to go there myself! I will never get to go to Disneyworld ;_;

Bri: I used to work at a pharmaceutical company. Our office was tight knit and most of us loved working together very much. Our parent company was purchased and our office was shut down. It was a very hard time as employees quit or got laid off, and I was the very last one to be let go. The new company kept me on even after the office was shut down in order to have someone from the old company to help with file transfers and all sorts of stuff.
For two months I had to fly down to southern California for three or four days a week. The office getting shut down was stressful enough, but then I had to be away from my husband every single week and deal with the hassle of rushing to and from the airport and living in hotels. I had to be treated for stress related illnesses and finally just told them that they had to lay me off and give me my severance NOW because I just wasn't getting on that #&@* plane one more time. I've hated flying ever since.

Bri: Yep, I had to give up something, and I decided I'd rather go with the item of the closest value than have to give up, say, my devil tail, angelic sash and a whole bunch of other whatnot just to have both pairs at once. Since the NM's are somewhat cheaper, maybe someday I can still own both of them. Also, I can always wear the chibi horns in place of the wings, but there's no good replacement for the angelic minis. ^^ And yay for my art!! ^__^ *excited*
Meri: *heh* Not really psychic in this case -- the angel wings in that pic kind of spurred me to get off my tush and do something about the pining for them I've had for a while now. heart Definitely Jedi-mind-bond, though. You sought out my innermost desires and brought them out in picture form for me~ (Meri smoochies AND mini wings! Dahhhh! ^^)

.... I've been spending way too much time in R&C Auctions today. I'm torn between wanting to sell my soul and devil tail for some gorgeous artwork, and wanting to do an art auction myself.

XD I on the other hand am terrified of flying :'3 I didn't use to be, but It gradually got worse with each trip I took. The last time I fly a sweet Jewish family adopted me for the flight back to Tennessee since I kept freaking out on the plane. I think I had upset a few of the passengers that were sitting next to me with my constant whimmpering and grabbing the handles of my seat sweatdrop

I tried to write up a quick explination of curved space-time and how time moves at different rates depending on your current position in space, but then I realized it wasn't short.
All you need to know is that time is NOT on the side of future interstellar travelers.
