Cor finishes his essay, and makes them supper, and they eat supper. And then corri has no idea what to do next, cuz he just doesn't feel comfortable around billy.

By now, Billy is starting to fear that their relationship will never be the same again, because he can feel Corri's uncomfortable-ness around him. That makes him sure that he should never, ever tell Cor about his true feelings... because Cor would never want to be near him again.

"I try so hard, and I'm lucky if I get close to her marks. Um...ok." He doesn't feel much like letting Billy give him a massage, but he's trying not to be obvious about his discomfort, and refusing would be very obvious.
