Aww. My lizard was being cute today. I ran up with my family to CVS and Blockbuster, and since Falthazur was basking outside, I asked my neighbor to keep an eye on him while I went out (she's thinking about buying a bearded dragon too. ^_^!). She said that every time a car got close to my house, Fal'd perk up and look, then sulk back down when we didn't pull in.
>_> and boy the things this little squirt gets me to do! First keep live crickets in my room, which I despise. Then when he got grossly underweight, actually TOUCH wax worms (caterpillars that look exactly like maggots) and now... roaches. eek I am actually finding myself jumping on the idea of keeping hundreds of dubia roaches in the basement in a breeding colony! (hey. 20-30 bucks a month for crickets (not counting gas for pet store runs!) which smell, jump, climb, and are noisy vs. 5 bucks a month for upkeep of roaches which don't smell, can't climb or fly, and are quiet...)
