Before anybody could do anything, Cottonee's ability, Prankster, kicked in. It quickly moved behind Sweetie, faster than any eye could see, and attempted to use Leech Seed on it, which would probably hit at close range. This would start sapping energy from Sweetie. It used its new found Prankster speed to return to it's original spot by Herdier afterwards.
Kai grimaced. Losing his support wasn't good. Kai wondered if the rain was still in effect, everything was so wet already he couldn't tell.
Herdier rushed at Sneasel with Take Down.
"Jump it and use Brick break' Sneasel jumped, and did a mid-air flip, its foot glowing orange. It did a axe kick in mid-air, and slammed into Herdier with a Brick Break kick. The Normal type staggered backward after the super effective blow.

The Leech Seed landed on Sweetie; she was much too tired and weak to dodge it. At least her support effects would last just a little longer. "Hmm.... Return, Sweetie!" Nick said, recalling his fainted Pokemon. "Rathalos, avenge Sweetie!" he roared, tossing out his Duddigon..
"Drudd!" the dragon roared over the indoor rain. "Druddigon, Dragon Claw!" Nick ordered.

Cottonee attempted to use sleep powder, to no effect due to Safe guard.
"Sneasel, Ice Punch on Cottonee" The combined effort of the two Pokemon knocked out the grass type easily.
Herdier charged at Druddigon, attemtping to bite it's wing with Bite.

The Herdier latched onto Rathalos' wing, causing minimal damage. The canine quickly let go, taking damage itself thanks to the Druddigon's Rough Skin. "Allow me, Kai! Rathalos, superpower, Go!" Nick ordered. The dragon Pokemon roared, punching the normal type with massive power.

In an act of what was basically animal cruelty, Rathalos completely decked the Herdier with its massive strength.
They had both won, with only losing one Pokemon each. They had their Pokemon healed, and they were about to walk into the next car, when a voice on the intercom of the train could be heard.
"TRAINERS. KUDOS ON YOUR OUTSTOUNDING BATTLE SKILL. AS A SPECIAL AND RARE EVENT, THE SUBWAY MASTERS WOULD LIKE TO TEST YOUR SKILL EARLY."
Kai was shocked. That went faster than he thought. He looked to Nick. "All right, ready?" In the next car would be a much more challenging battle.

Nick gulped as the intercom informed them about their challengers. "I... I'm ready..." he bit his lip nervously. "You all ready?" he asked his Pokemon. He took the silence of the Poke Balls as a 'yes.'
"Alright. Let's go in." Nick grinned.

They walked into the next car, and there stood two train conductor looking people. One dressed in black, the other in white. The black one spoke. "I am Ingo, with me is my fellow boss Emmet. Pleased to meet you." Then Emmet spoke. "We will fight you together. Let us begin!"
Kai and Nick sent out the two Pokemon they had started with before, like usual. Emmet and Ingo sent out a Garbodor and a Klinklang.
"Sharpedo, Aqua Jet!" Sharpedo slammed into Garbodor, taking off some of its Weak Armor, changing the poison types stats. Even with Sharpedo's impressive power, Ingo's Pokemon stood strong, and Sharpedo pulled away. It used Toxic, launching a purple blast at Sweetie, which would cause severe poisoning on contact.
Klinklang moved with surprising speed, charging at Sharpedo. It was attempting to hit it with Volt Switch.

Sweetie was hit with the Toxic attack, the poison entering her system quickly. The Volt Switch landed on Sharpedo, damaging it rather violently. Realizing that the Klinkklang knew electric attacks, Nick decided it would not be wise to use Rain Dance, even if he had just switched out.
"Crustle!" the new combatant cried, snapping its claws violently. "Sweetie, use Charm!" Nick ordered. The enemy team's Attack dropped harshly, infatuated by her cuteness. "Kai, I don't know how long Sweetie can last..." he turned to his friend after watching his beloved Happiny suffer poison damage.

Kai looked over at Nick. "Yeah. And I don't think Sharpedo's got much left in him. Hydro Pump!" Sharpedo used Hyrdo Pump on Crustle, who took a large amount of damage, then proceeded to use Earthquake. It had it's attack lowered, so it was not as severe as it could of been, but still menacing. The attack knocked out Sharpedo. Kai cursed, thinking of who to use next.
The attack also hit Garbodor, who was barely able to hang on, due to lower defence. It's Weak Armor broke off, raising it's speed and lower its defense. It was panting, but much faster. It charged, jumping up, bouncing of a wall, and launching Venoshock at Sweetie, which would be devastating due to poison.

Sweetie's plethora of HP and high Special Defense managed to keep her alive to launch one attack before she surendered to Poison damage. Thinking about the potential of Poison and Paralysis, Nick made his choice. "Safeguard!" he commanded. The little Happiny threw up a protective barrier before fainting. "Return! Good job, Sweetie." he smiled, returning the Poke Ball to his pocket. "Coolio, this looks like a job for you!" Nick ordered.
"Scraggy!" the Pokemon cheered. "Quick, take down the Garbdor with Fake Out!" Nick commanded. Before anyone knew it, the trash bag was also knocked out.

Ingo scolwed. He proceeded to send out Excadrill, at the same time Kai sent out Sneasel. Deciding to completely change the field, he gave a nod to Emmet, who switched out for Archeops, revealing his last team member.
Excadrill slammed the ground, using Earthquake. It missed Archeops, but hurt Sneasel very badly and most likely Scraggy as well. Sneasel, breathing heavily and staggering now, ran at Archeops, hitting it with Ice Punch, for moderate damage.

Scraggy hung on, its powerful defenses allowing him to survive with plenty of health left.
The Archeops roared loudly, using Stone Edge on Sneasel. Nick didn't want to look, fearing the results. Instead, he focused on getting its defeatist strategy to work. "Smack Down!" Nick ordered. Coolio leaped towards Archeops and forced it down to land. Not only did its Defeatist strategy kick in, it also was unable to fly.

So many dreams were broken and so much was sacrificed
Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind? Maddy wandered into HQ, listening to music on her iPod.
"Music is so boring lately..." She sighed, sitting on the wall.So many years have past, who are the noble and the wise?
Will all our sins be justified?

Kai frowned. Sneasel was decimated by the blow. "Last Pokemon!" He said, using Electrike. It shot a Thunderbolt, doing lasting damage to Archeops. Excadrill came at Electrike from its blind spot, hitting it into the wall with Poison Jab. The Safeguard prevented any extra statuses, however.
Archeops was still fast while on the ground. It used aerial ace, which did much less because of its ability, but would still take a chunk out of Scraggy's health.

The loss of STAB and lowered stats really weakened Archeops' attack against Coolio, but he still stood with moderate HP. "Put that Moxie to use! We need to get rid of that Excadrill for Elektick! Hi Jump Kick!" Nick yelled, crossing his fingers.
"Scra..." the little Pokemon jumped at the Mole Pokemon. Nick shut his eyes, "GY!" Coolio cried, landing an extremely powerful Critical Hit on the Exadrill. It fainted in a single hit, and Nick leaped with joy."Way to go, Coolio!" he smiled, patting it on its back.
