My finals were easy, but just because I had only two classes that I'm sorta good at to start with. razz English and piano. I actually managed to completely learn three songs just a couple days before my piano final! xd The English one was easy, 'cause they just had you write an in-class essay, and I'm already pretty good with that and whatnot. This fall, I'll have a full college workload, though. ninja
Good luck to other people with much more of a finals' workload than me. razz

Oh, this is a story about a guy named Al and he lived in a sewer with his hamster pal, but the sanitation workers didn't really approve, so he packed up his accordion and had to move to a city in Ohio where he lived in a tree and worked in a nasal decongestent factory and he played for the company bowling team, and every single night he had a strange recurring dream where he was wearing leiderhosen in a vat of sour cream, but that's really not important to the story!

Well, the very next year he met a dental hygienist with a spatula tattooed on her arm (on her arm), but he didn't keep in touch and he lost her number, then he got himself a job on a tator tot farm and he spent his life-savings on a split-level cave twenty miles below the surface of the Earth (of the Earth) and he really makes a mighty fine jelly bean and pickle sandwich, for what it's worth.

anyway. I just finished some programing work and I've been reading Sveners second book. man.. I had to share this. I thought you guys might like it. I won't tell you anything about the scene before or after but this was really trippy for me and I thought you might enjoy it.
I'm pretty sure Sven won't mind.
Excert from Sting of Silence:
“Are you alright?” whispered her caring voice. Her eyes were suddenly glazed with the sense of concern. Maurice was slightly surprised, he hadn’t suspected that.
“Why do you ask?”
“I’ve known you long enough, Maurice. You haven’t been right lately.”
“I’ve just been a little confused.” A few small laughs left his lips, it was true. Daia took a few steps closer to him, until she was only a few inches from his face. There was only one other time that he had been this close to her before. Her eyes were near enough to collide with his own.
“What confused you?” He could feel her breath against his mouth as she spoke. The smell of her hair fumed his nose. He liked it.
“What are you doing?” The question sounded rather stupid to him. Something was coming, and he could feel it, he even knew it.
“What are you feeling?” She asked right back at him. Maurice felt the air inside him suddenly become thicker and harder to breath.
“I’m not sure anymore,” his answer came back to her. Her face was only an inch away from his. Maurice was sure she could feel the feeling as well. A smile was already crawling across both of their lips. She was beckoning him, but for some reason, he didn’t move.
“Maurice… do you?” Daia didn’t finish the question, but Maurice knew what she was asking. She was asking him a question that had bounced between them for the longest time. Her eyes were cool, silent, and seeking. Ever too slowly his hand lifted up and took her cheeks. Smiles faded from both of their faces. Replaced was a dazed wondrous stare. He was too sure now, but he didn’t move.
“I’m…” The word drifted from his mouth. Words were being spoken that he couldn’t here but was sure he could see through her eyes. They were filled with beauty. Her hair was curved and sleek with attractive nature. He just wanted to reach forward and… but he couldn’t.
“I’m sorry Daia… Please don’t ask why. I don’t have an answer.” Giving no more words, he dropped his hands and walked away. Daia watched, the empty room filling the gap he left behind. Her head fell to the ground, tears swelling in her eyes.
“Why…” she whispered.

Then one day Al was in a forest trying to get a tan when he heard the tortured screaming of a funny little man. He was caught in a bear trap and Al set him free, and that guy that he rescued was as grateful as could be, and it turned out he's a bigshot producer on TV, so he gave Al a contract and what do ya know? Now he's got his very own Weird Al Shooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!

Oy.. before I leave I need to know something.
I'm thinking about writing a story. It's probably going to involve Warusawa and I wanted to know if you people had in mind anything else you want to do with that topic?
The story will involve Tolly, Joy Division, Topher and probably some other stuff not including the crew of the Ragnarok. It will be the same "world" I guess but not really the same story. I guess I really just need to know if you ever plan to attack the place in the future. It doesn't seem likely but I thought I'd ask.
Oh... and do any of you know what the POF is? There the military force that commander Jergens will be starting soon with the help of the Gekkostate. (see Corrupted Hopes for details)
I know the story started out as tied to the stuff Svener did. I'm not sure how it will evolve from here. Suffice to say, I'm going to let everyone have free reign of it from here on out. I just wanted to see what the plan was.

I dn't htink there's any reason to attack Warusawa, in my opinion, I think it's the pits, now. I mean... I assume after the Command Cluster was destroyed and all that debris flying happened, it got destroyed. Besides, I don't think any of our characters have any ties to it anymore.
Yes, I know what it is. I've read three chapters of the fanfic already! biggrin I'm about to start the fourth.
As for a plan... we have no bloody idea what to do next. razz
