Turning around, her eyes soon found the person who was making all of the noise. His ego just screamed at her internally, causing her to sigh lightly. "This is no time to be screaming. It's in the middle of the night!" She yelled back, which was a bit difficult to do in a hushed tone, but he managed to do so anyway. Hands upon his hips, he stared at the newcomer with a critical eye. "Who are you anyway?" He then asked, wanting to get a grasp on the mental capability of those who lived in this world, as well as the others who were sent here by the gods.

Oomizu was quiet. Joesph had fallen in love? She must have been a sweet woman for him to have fallen for her... But his voice grew quiet, and she spoke softly, "The Old One?"
Soldier heard a voice talking to him. He paused in his step and looked over his shoulder. The second he saw her, he stumbled back enough for wide eyes to be seen. "Dear God. It's bad enough to know a Jap is being trusted on the battle field, but a woman at that?! What kind of Nazi world is Scout, Heavy, and Medic in?!" Next thing you know, hippies would be running the government! He had to at least save Scout from such a fate! The por boy was too stupid fo his own good!

"I'M NOT A JAP!!" Nuriko then cried, widening his stance as he pointed a finger menacingly in the man's direction. If this was an anime, her head would have swelled to huge (but still very chibi proportions) with fire sprouting from the ground like trees. "I'm from Konan! First, let's get that right. Second, what's wrong with being a woman on the battlefield! I have been noted for many years of fighting alongside the other warriors of the Suzaku Seven!" His attitude quickly changed, due to his random and even bi-polar nature. Now he just crossed his arms over his chest, grinning like a cheshire cat at Soldier. "And third... what is up with your get up? I'm sorry, but you clearly have no sense in fashion..." Yeah, this was just hilarious. The guy thought he was a woman, just like everyone here will think so too. Ah, the joys of perfecting the art of cross-dressing.

This person confused Soldier, and Soldier does not enjoy being confused!* He heard maybe every other word, not fully caring but at the same time wondering if he should attack this person. He seemed to replace to bazooka with his shovel and almost looked as though he was listening to it tell him something. He looked to Nuriko and back to shovel before he shook his head. "That would waste too much time! Scout and Medic may already have gotten themselves into deep trouble." He wasn't too worried about Heavy. He had that gun of his that he seemed to worship. He then seemed to get a look of defensiveness and snered at the comment about his outfit. "There is nothing wrong with my attire, maggot!! This is the standard uniform of THE U. S. of A! I will have you know I fought in the war and killed tougher men than you, girly, for far less thngs than insulting a Soldier in uniform!" Spit flew from his mouth whe ever he angrily emphasized something in his little rant. Once again he looked to his shovel and shook his head.
((When the time comes he finds out "she" is a he, he'll have all sorts of comments. xd ))

Nuriko continued to keep his air of smugitude (ah, yes, oh great smugitude. ha!) as the Soldier began to talk to him. He was taken a back by this, placing the back of his hand against his lips as he leaned backwards a bit. His expression shifted a bit, to one of more restrained confusion. This guy is crazy! Talkin' to his shovel! He thought to himself before he realized that his comment had hit one of the man's raw nerves. "Ah ho ho ho!" Nuriko then laughed before he began to step closer to Soldier, lifting a fist as if aiming it towards his face. "See this? This little sucker right here is called a fist. I use my fist to... BEAT THE LIVING SNOT OUTTA GUYS LIKE YOU!!" He then cried, clearly not taking a liking to this newcomer at all. Oh if only Tamahome was here, he would've already used him as a ragdoll to beat on. But he wasn't just going to beat up this old guy, ew. Old people were gross. "But I can see someone has already done that for me." He then said with a playful wink. Damn his attitude sure changed on the drop of a damn. "Remind me to thank the person who disfigured your face for me. They did a marvelous job~!"

It wasn't the thing about his looks. No. It was the uniform. He had insulted the uniform, and that is why he rolled his unseen eyes at the attempt to get him upset. He but his bugal away before he calmly grabbed onto Nuriko's fist and squeezed tightly. "Woman, I would not take any sort of mercy on you if you were my enemy. Now! I have more important thigs to do!" He released her and turned before he continued roaming down the halls in search of some sort of sign of Heavy, Medic, and Scout. He could smell food from where he was at, so maybe Heavy would be in the kitchen making another of his sandwiches
Scout continued to snore lightly under the tree in the park, unaware of how much trouble he may end up being in.

"Tch." Nuriko only said. Of course he didn't want this little spat between comrades to throw him off his game. Psh, hell no. But now he was bored and that wasn't good. He made sure to go in the opposite direction of Soldier, not wanting to run into that cretin again. Hands now upon his hips, he walked about the city, even through the park. "Oh? What do we have here?" He began before another Cheshire grin graced his lovely features. Seeing Scout and Gakupo, Nuriko quickly hopped up into the tree they were under with a rather large, but slim, stick. "Pfft." He said, trying to hold back in giggles as he used the stick to begin poking at Scout first since he was the least handsome of the two, well, in his ever-so-critical opinion. He made sure to poke his nose lightly, causing Scout's subconscious to think it were some sort of bug landing on his nose. Goodness, he was the trouble-maker!

Not wanting to stick around, Medic had left, and daydreamed a bit about what he would have done to the RED Spy if he had been able to stay at that Federation of Quasar base. His stomach growled, reminding him of the fact he hadn't had much, if anything, to eat that day. So, he began heading towards the cafeteria. Hang on, what was that? Sounded like someone was shouting... Almost sounded like Soldier... but no, that couldn't be. Surely the god would have given him some warning before pulling through who was arguably the least stable person of the team.

Joseph took a minute to collect himself after having to remember how it happened. "Well sort of. You see, your magic and ours is a little different. Our magic consists of the soul arts, which draws upon the human soul. Unfortunately, those very soul arts awoke the Old one, and caused this catastrohpe. The demons that awoke took us all off guard, and before we knew it, we were fighting a loosing battle. I ran off to try and find reinforcements, but by the time I could find anybody, the city became what you already saw.." he told her. "I still need to find out if anyone I knew back then survived or not." ((urgh. So....much...Borderlands... I can't help myself! XD On a different note, here's what too much internet surfing can lead too))

Scout's nose twitched (like a little bunny's) and gave a soft groan. In a tired and no where near awake state, he waved his hand near his face as he rolled over. Eh, if it was a bug then he wasn't too concerned. He yawned lightly and was back asleep.
Gakupo though he could hear rustling in the tree above him, but he didn't open his eyes or put up any sort of fight. Instead, he laid perfectly still with a serne look on his face as though he was dreaming about something sweet and pleasant.
Heavy continued walking when he saw, "Medic!" He ran over to one of his missing BLU partners and grinned. "There you are! Do you have any idea how hard t was for me to find you?!" e looked around and frowned in disappointment. "Huh. Where is Heavy and Scout? Those two maggots are almost always following you around and begging you to heal them!"
Oomizu looked down and nodded. She didn't have too many questions left at this point. Though, there were a couple things still on her mind. "Joseph-kun, Ostrava said you wanted me to have this stone because your soul was trapped in it... What did he really mean?" She put her hand on the necklace that the stone was hanging from. "He said something about how I could call out to you with it or something along those lines..."
((I may have to post that in the Spirit Week thread now. xd ))

Oh, hell... "In case you haven't noticed, Herr Soldier, ve are not in a battle right now," Medic replied, holding back a sigh. Of course the American wouldn't admit to the fact he was usually the worst offender when it came to begging for health. Well, he didn't usually "beg" so much as "demand." He continued to walk towards the cafeteria. If he was going to have to deal with Soldier being around, he at least didn't want to do so on an empty stomach.
