"Yeah, I know, I've recently been out and about searching for places with tough trainers... And dealing with a single flock of Wingull that I can't seem to get rid of." He rolled his eyes, "What about you?" He noted Brian leaving the room and quickly called after him, "G'night, sir!"

"Not much really." Rex said. "Just been hanging around you know?" He flicked through the channels. "Ugh nothing on." He turned to Arekku. "Wanna play Battle Revolution?"

"Battle... Revolution...? I'm gonna go on a wild guess and say video 'game', right? If so, I've never played." He shrugged, the only game system he had ever played was the Nintendo DS, it was light and portable. "Sure, I guess."

Rex turned on the Wii. He passed Arekku a WiiMote. "Sync up your DS real quick." He told Arekku. "You can put your DS Pokemon into the game."

Arekku looked utterly lost to what Rex was saying, "Er, is it compatible with Black and White?" He was still kind of confused, but slowly learned what to do. "Mind you, it may take a while for me to get used to these controls."

Rex got out his TADS, synced it with the Wii and started making a whole bunch of hacking adjustments. "It is now." He told Arekku.
Rex turned to Thard. "First helping Arekku learn the basics of PBR." He told his friend.

Arekku's eye twitched slightly, he'd been chased around by a rather large flock of Wingull all day, and now he'll most likely lose miserably in a game he's never played before. "Right... Uhhh..." He began to choose the Pokemon he'd use or at least try to use.

"Somehow I find it hard to believe your 'adjustments' will actually make the games compatible. Even if you ignore the new battle modes, you'd still have to program hundreds of Pokemon, attacks, animations for all of them, new items, changes to various moves and abilities,... You see where I'm going with this?"
I stand back and watch.

"Shut up..." Rex sighed, seeing as how it didn't work. "Thard can you help me?" Rex whined. Rex began pressing more buttons on his TADS, but it still did nothing.

"Dude... Rex, you do realize that we have actual Pokemon that we can, oh, let's just say, battle with?" He chuckled, "Plus, I'd much rather have a real battle than a virtual one. It's just too bad that we don't have any refs around willing to ref a match." Arekku glanced at Thard, pleading with a slight smile, "Maybe...?"

"I like video games." Rex shrugged, then laughed at himself. "I wouldn't mind taking you on." Rex smiled, picking out a Poke Ball. "I am always up for a challenge."
