"We should get them fed."

She nodded and kissed his cheek before sitting in the rocking chair. "You hungry baby girl?"
He let Maki go. "Sorry..... I'm sorry Maki." He walked over to the window. "Damn it." He whispered. He hit his hand on the wall, not too hard but hard enough to hurt.

She chuckled and adjusted to let Devi latch on.
He sighed and turned to face Maki. "I'm sorry Maki... I- I got carried away....... God I didn't mean to get carried away." He sat on the floor and pressed his back against the wall and ran his hands through his hair.

He eased off and broke the kiss. He saw the look Maki had, "Sorry..." He whispered again. He dropped his hand into his lap.
