There's a long step from Slytherin to Hufflepuff! lol
The quizzes I usually end up finding are poorly made i.e bad spelling and just plain out stupid questions. So if my favorite animal was a snake, does that mean I should be put in Slytherin? My favorite anything does not tell anyone what my personality and morals are like. confused

My favorite anything does not tell anyone what my personality and morals are like. confused This is true to the extent that people will often look for themselves in other things. If you are a calm quiet person you might prefer a turtle to a mountian lion because turtle are small, docile reptiles. However, when the list is limited to only four animals then it makes it very difficult to judge a person by what they chose.

bamfgirl143 Um, I've done other sorting things, like for LiveJournal and GreatestJournal communities, and in other places, and it's basically the same thing, just a lot of questions that require more elaborate answers. I usually get put in Slytherin. heart (Is March_Hare` I am having toubles with my main account and I wanted to get on here to talk to you guys.) You know what I do as well! I am almost always put into slytherin.I dunno why though. I think I fit in well over here, I think I am moreof a Ravenclaw, but that's just my opinion.

I fit in really well with Slytherin, and I've pretty much always associated myself with Slytherin house, aside from when I first got into the fandom, when I was wee. Then I was a Hufflepuff usually. But pretty much I've always been Slytherin, because I usually put myself before anybody else. XP But yeah. I made a siggy for myself involving a dead badger, so there's that. :3

I agree that most of the sorting quizzes I come across are "yes" and "no" and "which of these four colors do you prefer" and "which of these animals do you like best". If your only given a couple of choices, you can't really say who/which you like better.
Me, I have mostly been sorted into Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. I get along with pretty much everyone, so it doesn't really matter to me. I am not a big fan of getting sorted into Gryffindor. I don't think I would fit in there because I am a big scardy-cat. Also, I want to be different than a lot of HP fans because a lot of people want to be in Gryffindor.

I usually get sorted into Ravenclaw. I'm not much of a fan of Gryffindor either to be honest. Got nothing against the Gryffindors themselves of course. smile

Yea, same here. The people that are in Gryffindor are pretty awesome, but its just that A LOT of people get sorted into that house, so I want to be different.

*looks around paranoid for Gryffindors* ninja I usually prefer things that are not so...what's the English word...mainstream? I'm really glad that I'm in Hufflepuff though.
I'm also a little happy for not ending up in Slytherin, not because I got anything against them, but because they got such a bad name, poor things. confused I rather dislike the 'House stereotypes'.

Slytherin gets such a bad rap! JKR is always like, "not all Slytherins are bad" and then in DH, LOL THE WHOLE HOUSE LEAVES. That really irritated me. stare

I'm happy in any house except Gryffindor, truthfully. That is the only house I am uncomforatble in. Truthfully, if I had to be sorted I should be a SlytherClaw...o.O

Stupid stereotypes... stare @March_Harè: I just picture that there is a lot of noise in the Gryffindor House, with the Weasleys' products, Hermione's nagging of homework and lord knows what goes on in there. eek I would never finish my homework!

Well a lot of people that are in slytherin are people that put themselves first. They might not all be bad people, but they look out for themselves first. At least that is my stand on it.

Exactly. They're independent and misunderstood. *Laugh* Can you just picture their faces if one of them came here and saw Hufflepuffs standing up for their honor? lol I find that funny somehow.

gerp91 Well a lot of people that are in slytherin are people that put themselves first. They might not all be bad people, but they look out for themselves first. At least that is my stand on it. Aside from the majority of the house being underage to fight in the Battle of Hogwarts, putting themselves first was the reason I figured the rest of Slytherin left Hogwarts. I don't believe all of them necessarily fought for Voldemort, they were just getting themselves out of harm's way. To some extent, I can't really blame them. It would be a terrifying situation to be in. That is just my take on it, though. Oh, and I am usually a Hufflepuff, but I occasionally get Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, depending on the quiz. I don't mind any of the houses, but I believe my heart lies in Hufflepuff.

Julli say what and I were talking about this in a pm a few days ago actually. Sorry i've been so inactive. Pretty much I have been checking my pms and getting off due to lack of time since I no longer have a working computer. Welcome to Hufflepuff. I usually get sorted into either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. My friends laugh and call me a Gryffinclaw. Oh, and for those of you that are wondering, I will have Quidditch practice up and running soon. I promise. I got word from Madam Hooch, and I'll have it up soon. I'm just swamped for time. I don't think I'll be reaching my 50th post for awhile due to how little time I have.
