Miyuki shook her head. "No.. I.." She shook her head again. "I've never gotten close enough to smell them. Now she was testing him, he was with her when she had met Lidi. She took his hand with a sigh. "I'm sorry." A few seconds after she spoke she smiled, she could sense Damien not 5 feet from them. I was right... I knew something was wrong.

Kyo could sense the angelic aura approach and knew that the girl could as well. She already seemed suspicious of him and with the two of them together, he knew she would know who was who. At the moment there was only one choice left. Quickly he pushed the girl away and returned to his cat form. Without a word, he jumped through a nearby broken window and into the building. From there, he doubted they would find him.

Lidi watched as Jake emptied the contents onto his plate. When he left and turned back to ask if she wanted some, she had two options: yell at him or calmly ask yes. She would rather just yell at him, but that seemed like too much trouble. She nodded, "Sure." In truth, she had no idea how to use that oven, nor would she like to try to use it. There was a chance she might burn down the whole place. The mold would easily catch on fire. It was probably better, and safer, if Lidi just ate what Jake had already made. ...Together.

Reluctantly, Jake pushed some of the contents of his plate onto hers. Already he felt like he had very little an the amount now drastically decreased. Of course, as far as he could remember, he had never been full, but that was besides the point. In his thoughts, Jake did not seem to realize that he had already finished off his meal, "Hey, are there any beds around here?"
(THAT'S WHAT YOU POST DARK!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)

.Forever... Lidi watched as Jake pushed the raviolis onto her plate and she immediately began to poke them with a fork until she had dissected them completely. After she took a bite, and decided that raviolis weren't poisonous, she began to eat nearly as fast as Jake did. When he asked if there were any beds around, she was nearly done. She looked up from the plate and turned to Jake, swallowing before replying. "I think so. Maybe some upstairs or somewhere else." Though I wouldn't sleep in them... She added in her head after she thought of all the mold that might be on them. ...Together.

After pushing back his chair, Jake began his search for the stairs. Once at the stairwell, the boy began his ascension up the stairs and looked through the rooms. The first appeared to have at one time acted as a study, though very few books remained on the shelf. The second contained a small crib and had yellow ducks across the wall, most likely a nursery. The third time was the charm as he found a room with bunk beds. A dank smell came from the sheets but Jake didn't care, he was tired and so took the top bunk.

Miyuki jumped keeping her balance she watched the cat jump through the window. "Damien...er... Damn it!" She looked back, the real Damien was standing there, what remained of her heart melted in her chest her eyes growing warm. "Damien?" She called softly before pulling herself back to the situation at hand. Tearing her eyes from Damien she threw herself through the broken window that the cat had jumped through, she heard the glass shatter around her before she felt it, but when she did oh boy did it sting. She bit her lip to keep from crying out and she flipped and landed on the ground a soft crunch coming from the glass beneath her feet, and so followed the same noise every time she shifted her weight. She glanced around the room quickly, her bright eyes darting every which way, her senses hightened and acutly picking up on the blood dripping along her arms and down her back. She rolled her shoulders trying to relieve the pressure and tenseness of her muscles only to come to grips with the large gash between her shoulder blades. She winced and tried to focus. Smell... She reminded herself, but the smell of her own blood filled her thoughts. "Damn you!" She growled softly under her breath.

Were Kyo able to laugh, he probably would have as he slinked up the stairs. In the small cat body, he did not fear making noise, but still he didn't want to risk anything. If the angel joined in, he would be outnumbered. As he reached the second floor, he began to search around for an exit. It didn't take long for him to spot an open window. Elegantly, he jumped onto the counter and walked over to the window. He thought he was home free, but then, "KITTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He turned around to spot a young boy, probably only four or five staring at him happily.

Miyuki's head snapped up out of its growing haze when she heard a little boy cry. Kitty? Oh that stupid cat!She recalled straightening up immediately she ran toward the stairs, and up them soon after. Her eyes snapped to the side where she instantly spotted the cat. "Here kitty kitty kitty" She called softly, rubbing her fingers together to get its attention with a smirk on her face.
