Aubry felt the cool piece of cloth on her forehead. it felt pretty good.
"thank you..." she whispered. she was still feeling light headed, but the cloth had helped some.

Victoria was to weak to move or even open her eyes... but she could tell that everyone else was ok for the most part... which gave her comfort despite the fact she was extremely weak...

Victoria heard what Aubry said and thought, true... but it's hard to do when I'm weaker than you in this particular situation... what did the wolfragon mean when it said it was looking for the princess who betrayed her country though? Hm...

Victoria noticed somehow Aubry entered her mind.... "Yeah I can," she replied telepathically, "I didn't know you could connect minds! How did you do that?"

Alluri nodded. then she pulled some ointment from a pouch on her belt. she began to dab it onto every one's wounds.

Well... health wise I'm ok, thanks for asking... but the wolfragon said it was working for the Dark Goblin... it said she wanted it to find a princess who decided to ditch her kingdom and have them join forces... but I don't think they'll find anyone like that here... But you should rest, I can tell your straining yourself too much... I'll be fine, really. And with that Victoria broke the mind connection with Aubry. Her head throbbed with memories of Vornifer and when her parents died to protect her...

Alluri looked at her depleted store of ointment and sighed. "i'll be back in a minute,' she told who ever was still concious. she grabbed up her naginata and headed into the bushes. she knelt by the water looking for some herbs. when she found them she crushed them and added a little water. then she found another herb and added it to the mix. now she had enough ointment to go around. she headed back to the spot where every one was waiting.

Images flew into Victoria's mind, her mother clutching her heart and gasping in pain, her father right by her side, "Victoria! Run! GO! We'll be fine, JUST SAVE YOURSELF!!" Victoria was in pain too... but saw the Dark Goblin coming towards her and teleported away... barely alive. She saw Vornifer kill her parents... and Victoria blacked out. When she awoke (still memory sequence) her house was burned to the ground, with her clutching a picture of her and her parents in her hand.

Alluri could tell some thing was troubling Victoria. she knelt by her and rested her hand on her shoulder gently.
