He raises his brow, a little confused to say the least. "Ummm... Not a good idea.." He stands up and walks over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist as he reaches her. "Calm down, babe..."

"..Am I on another planet here..? Maybe it doesn't actually work in America.." She pondered upon it. 'Kiss it better'. Yeah.. That went well. Well, she only had one. So, she was hinting at- Nevermind. The cat would have ripped her to shreds anyway. Smiling weakly, she shrugs. "New Zealand humour doesn't work well."

Finally clicking on, he leans closer and whispers in her ear softly. "One is more than enough to warrant more than a kiss." He winks.

Looking slightly confused, she looks up at him. "..Care to elaborate?" She had her fingers hooked in the belt-loops of his trousers {Trousers.}, ignoring the stinging coming from her wrist. Stupid cat.

He smiles as he wakes up the next evening, finding his arms firmly around Xan. He opens his eyes and kisses the back of her neck gently.

Opening her eyes, she gasps slightly. She'd been in the middle of another bad dream. Closing her eyes and letting out a breath, she doesn't realise Kinikki is the one that actually woke her. Smiling as she felt his arms around her, she wonders if it was possible to get back to sleep.

Smiling as he kisses her neck again, she realises he knows its a soft spot. "I'd have been woken up, anyway." For some reason beyond her, the dreams of Jace were back. Rolling over gently, so she doesn't hurt him, she wraps her arms round him.

*One of cady's servants begins to set up a camera. on the roof of a building near the apartment Kinikki and Xan are in. It's aimed towards the door of the place. He sets up a little transmitter. Meanwhile there are about three other mortals, one setting up a camera aimed at the broken window, one setting up a camera aimed at the fire escape of the building and the final one setting up a small camera in the corner of the hallway with Kin's door on it. They all activate and begin transmitting their signal*
