Rhiko read the next section, and read all the way through. Throughout the reading, he came to the conclution he wasn't getting it. As he reached the end, he read the next section with doubt he really understood the last one. It became obvious he didn't when the next section was obviously greek to him. So very quickly, he went back and began re-reading.

This was an odd predicament for Rhiko, he didn't understand, the text, and couldn't continue on qwithout getting it. But there were no clues to help him out! The next section was a dud, and the current section was just as bad, and the last sections didn't give any information to lend help either! He placed his head back against the tree, taking a deep breath, and thinking about the information he was trying to retain!

Jericho sat back down under the tree he had previously been sitting under and looked through the three books he had checked out, Intro to guitar theory, Battle formations, and basic pressure points. He looked at them all and attempted to decide which one he would read first. After a moment of thinking Jericho picked up the intro to guitar theory book. He had always been interested in guitar since his father played it and since guitars were present in almost every kind of music. He leaned back against the tree and began to read.

((Second Day Begin!))

Rhiko swallowed his anger, and reopened the scroll, he read the same section over and over, till it sickened him to read anymore! He groaned and looked back to his chakra control book, reading that instead, once again hoping it would reveal answers. But it did not, it was the same in confution. He quickly returned to his scoll with anticipation of something coming to him to help!

As he re-read the section, he noticed a small slit in the border of the scroll. "What's this?" He spoke out of curiosity, and unfolded what turned out to be a extra piece of diagrams for the section, writen on the back of the fold! He stared at the all powerfull and explaining diagrams! The diagrams no only were on that section, but behind all of them, to give visual aid to all working on it! A grin crossed his face, and he continued reading, now suddenly able to understand and visualize the descriptive words. "Yes! I get it!"

Thirty minutes... an hour... two hours... 5 hours... 8 hours... He'd been at it by now. The sun was barely on the horizon, and his head hurt from all the reading. After several more minutes, the sun had set and almost everything was in darkness. All was dark except for what the moon illuminated with an eiry light that passed though the mist.

Dispite this, Rhiko raised up a hand and began burning chakra in a light, almost flame appearance as it flowed off his palm. With this dim light, he continued reading, able to understand it, unfalted by the lack of light. He had reached another checkpoint, now was the final stretch.

the hours sliped away, and almost nothing was completed. It was aproximately 1 AM, and Rhiko was surprizingly still awake, attempting patheticly to put the words together. He had grown very tired, and it was a masive burden on his mind. The chakra burning off of his hand was dimming, and becoming only a tiny stream off his index finger.

Finally the light went out for the last time that night. Then, with nothing left to keep him awake, he fell asleep. His dreams were just as stressfull. Continueing the leason with no progress, the dreams only adding to his anoyance, till he woke to a sharp pain in his ear.

Jericho woke up due to the confusion his dream caused him. He looked at the page in front of him and began to read it. It talked about standard tuning for the guitar and the strings. The numbering of the strings goes one-six bottom to top. String one is tuned to e, String two is tuned to B string three is tuned to G, string four is tuned to D, string five is tuned to A and the sixth string is tuned to E. The book mentioned an easy way to remember this, the top and bottom are E and starting from the fifth string and going down, learn the saying. “A Dog Got Bit.” A, D, G, B. Easy right.

As Jericho turned the page his eyes once again got heavy. He attempted to read and force them to stay open but soon lost that battle and feel back asleep. Jericos next dream was a bit twisted and demented. He was running from a giant shark that had arms and legs and the biggest teeth he had ever seen. He was in some wooden building and as the shark chased him it bit the floor behind him. Jericho had to keep jumping from falling chunk of wood to falling chunk of wood to stay alive. Eventually Jericho made it to the end of the hallway and jumped out the window.

Jericho feel to the ground which was only a few feet from the window. He got up and walked off, for whatever reason the shark disappeared at this point. Jericho walked a ways down a path until he saw a bandit running away with a girl slung over his shoulder. Jericho chased after him and eventually caught up to him. Jericho dove and tackled the man and stabbed a knife, which came out of nowhere, into his neck. He walked over to the girl to make sure she was ok but she quickly got up and rain off crying. “I wonder whats wrong with her.” He said to himself

Jericho walked off and soon realized he was on a track starting line with Sanabi, Vesimine, and some other students. He arched over and got into a running position and looked over at the two of them. “Who ever wins this wins everything.” He said to them as though that made perfect sense. They nodded and waited for the mark to go. Someone threw a throwing star across the starting line and that was their signal to run. Jericho took off and was neck and neck with Sanabi and Vesimine for the first few minutes of the race. Jericho looked behind him to see the shark was back and gaining on all of them. “Oh man, not you again.” He said like it was nothing.

Jericho, Sanabi and Vesimine turned around and got into their fighting stances. The shark stood up on its two legs and smiled at the three of them with a huge scary smile. Vesimine, being the fastest, dashed at the shark and as he bit down trying to bite her in half, she dashed to the side avoiding the attack. Jericho and Sanabi both ran forward right after her and threw identical punches into the sharks teeth knocking four of them back into his throat. The shark swiped Jericho aside like he was nothing. Jericho fell to his butt and looked up to see the shark diving at him grinning. Inches away from Jerichos face the shark stopped and was repelled back. Jericho pushed himself up to see Sanabi had grabbed hold of the Sharks tail fin and thrown him.

Jericho woke up suddenly. He rubbed his eyes because they burned as though someone had pored hot sauce in them while he was sleeping. He lifted the book from his chest and turned the page. This next section talked about the difference between electric guitars and acoustic guitars. Acoustic guitars are mostly made out of wood and use a hollow body to amplify the sound when the strings are plucked. These guitars were the originals and are very commonly used. Electric guitars are often have solid bodies and require and amplifier to produce the sound. These guitars are move commonly used today and can be played much louder.

Jericho looked over the next page, but his eyes were once again getting heavy. He would not let himself fall asleep, however the reading was basically pointless since he was focused on staying awake rather then the information. He read something about a cord, attached to a fish scale…..and some how that tide in to notes. In a nutshell that’s music apparently. Jericho shook his head and slapped himself on the cheek. “That doesn’t make any sense, I better read that again.” He said as he rubbed his eyes once more and let out a sigh.

Jericho made sure he was wide awake by inflicting pain on himself, he pulled on his ears and slapped himself when ever his eyes began to close. He re-read the previous page to find out it was actually way simpler then he had made it out to be when he was in his dreary state. Guitar music is made up of three things, chords and scales. A chord is a group of notes played all at the same time. A scale is a serious of notes that follow a certain pattern played individually.
