The combatants clash, in a titanic conclusion to a massive battle. Perrian throws his fireball once again for 18 points of Magic damage. Gerbo whips up his patented Machine Gun Magic, using Living Mist twice successively for 14 points of Magic damage. Misty follows it's master's lead once again, delivering 4 points of Magic damage courtesy of it's own Living Mist. Fury lends the strength of the Spiritual Fist, dealing 10 Special damage. Dancing Sword joins it's strength with Daustau in a Team Attack, dealing it's Smash for 5 Special damage. Daustau strikes true, dealing 5 Normal Damage, 17 Normal damage, and finishing with a Smash for 15 Special Damage, taking advantage of the Team Attack with Dancing Sword. Djanni delivers the final blow with her Shadow Scythe for 10 Special Damage, finishing the Dragon once and for all. (98 total)
Before it goes, the Dragon has a gift for the intrepid Adventurer's; the gift of pain. It strikes swiftly at Misty from multiple avenues of claw, bite and tail delivering 20 points of Normal damage to the faithful beast. It then rears back, jaws wide to deliver it's most potent and recognizable attack; the Dragon's Breath, for 15 damage to everyone. As a final parting shot, ancient syllables of lost draconic magic slide past the dragon's lips, resulting in the massive Flameburst for 15 Magic damage to Everyone.
Perrian Succumbs to the massive combination of magical flame, taking 25 points of combined Special and Magic damage.
Gerbo's Magic Shield protects the party from part of the Dragon's Flameburst, effectively reducing the damage by 5 for everyone else. He relies on his timely Living Mist Defense, to reduce the total damage by 14 points. Unfortunately, the remaining 16 points of combined damage are just enough to drop the powerful Sorceror in his tracks.
Misty Drops from the Dragon's careful attention, taking 20 Normal, 9 Special (mitigated by Living Mist), and 10 Magic damage, for a total of 39 points.
Dancing Sword falls to the massive combination of Magic and Flame, taking 25 points of damage.
Daustau falls before the mighty Dragon's assault, taking 15 Special damage, and 10 Magic damage from the combination attack.
Firu cleaves the Flameburst as it approaches, reducing it's effect by 11 points, leaving 4 points of Magic damage and 15 points of Special damage to wreak it's havoc on his body.
Fury uses his Defensive Hold to protect against the incoming dual blast, reducing the damage by 4 points; enough it seems to survive the encounter.
Djanni also uses her Defensive Hold to survive the Dragon's final onslaught, reducing the damage by 4 points as well.
Firu regenerates 5 points. Fury regenerates 3 points. Djanni regenerates 5 points.
Fury heals Djanni for 5 points.
Perrian: 0/20 Gerbo: 0/15 Misty: 0/30 (the Mist Beast Token loses a charge, as a result of it's death) Dancing Sword: 0/5 Daustau: 0/25

The Dragon falls, defeated by the powerful team of adventurer's, it's lifeless corpse draped across the roof of the Adventurer's Tavern. A powerful silence pervades the area for a brief moment, as if in reverence for those who fell this day.

A brief comfortable sensation descends from the starless night, engulfing the party members. Those who moments before seemed lost, slowly stir as if from a deep slumber. All sustained wounds quickly fade, leaving each of the assembled adventurer's once again whole. The dragon's corpse seems to fade, reforming around the rooftop, creating a breathtakingly beautiful vista, from which to view the city in comfort. A gentle voice whispers from the light breeze, speaking in soft tones. "My thanks adventurer's, for your assistance during the final moments of my life. It is a Dragon's lot in life to know the time of his demise, and this was mine. Your efforts escorted me into death in a manner truly befitting a warrior of old. Once again I thank you; consider what remains as your sanctuary for all time." As quietly as it came, the voice is gone, whisked away on the wind that carried it.
All participants will be awarded the Special Location: Red Dragon Lounge, as a reward for defeating the first of the Dragon class. ~Master of Gladiators~

Core system damaged, operation failure. Shut down for repairs, ETA 10 hours... Daustua falls from thesky where she had completed her attack after being raked by the unbearable flames of the dragons breath. She knew it was inevitable. She had no way to defend against such an attack after putting all her energy into her smashing blows. But she had accomplished what she had set out to do. The dragon was defeated that was all that mattered. She smashes into the ground bellow to form a small crater in the earth. A black liquid begins to oozes from Daustua's body. Her eyes once again dim as they had before in the end of her tournament.
Core and exterior systems repaired. Resume full functionality... The light of life returns to Daustua's eyes...much sooner than she expected. She stands up from her crater, her charred clothes covered in a mixture of oil and dragon blood. She gazes around in surprise as her other fallen comrades begin to rise as well. Something had sped up her repairs as well as brought life back to the others. She hears the ghostly words of the dragon spirit as all is explained. She gazes at the the new vista before in wonder.

((I wanted to come back into the Tavern somehow because I got left behind down around Pg 5-16. But I didn't want to intrude on an epic battle. Sooo.....))
Bellamin let out a loud snort as he rolled over and bumped his head on a bar-counter. Seems along time ago, he fell asleep and the bartender, afraid that he was dead, dragged him out of view, and put a rug over him. The spellsword rubbed his eyes. "Awww... Man... That was some dream... "I hope the goblins aren't really gonna use a *'proton mage-cannon'... Whatever that means." He rubbed his head. "Holy... Nooooo!" He started to lap up his alchoholic drink from the floor. The time it took for him to wake, coupled with the ammount of people to tred on this floor somehow changed it so it had a quite discusting smell. Bellamin quit and rolled onto his back. Still on the floor he looked at the ceiling. Seems like they did some kind of construction up there... Wonder what... "Hey! What did I miss!" He winced "Awwww... abit of a hangover..." He looked away from the painfull torches.
((*I like sci-fi almost as much as fantasy, and one my [poorly written] scifi stories has -Bellami- in it.))

Perrian fell to the ground. This is the end...my life is finally over by the hands of a dragon, but at least the dragon is over...I am dead forever...or am I? He thinks and slowly feels a magical aura and comes back to life. He moans and slowly sits up. "Who's there?" He whispers to the voice whisked away on the wind.

*Spent, tired, and not sure what it's doing up so late, the Fire gutters out. Djanni blinks at her surroundings, having no recollection of the battle. Finally, her eyes roll back in her head and she drops, face-forward, onto the new floor to sleep off her wounds. The dull sound of her snores drifts skywards as she mumbles in her sleep.*
"Hmm...scaly blanket...great...adventure..."

Aww... I missed it? Well that just sucks. And the Lounge looks awesome, Master of Gladiators. I want to join the Angelic Choir! It supports my projected character path so perfectly! Aaargh! Won't someone take pity on me and invite me to the Lounge? crying

Bellamin stood up, his legs still slightly asleep. He looked around. "Whoa... This tarvern sells some strong drinks eh?" He said, thinking that everyone has a hangover.
((Weekly Chip gain! That's awsome! Although a dragon hunting minigame would be better, just move the bounty up abit and let them work for money))

Ahh, but that would be to easy... Now dragons are a thing to be treasured! (Literally) mrgreen And I'm sorry Miss, but it wouldn't be right for me to escort you into the Lounge, as my other half is kind of responsible for it's creation. I have no issue with your membership, but it should really come from one of the others... sweatdrop

Perrian walked out of the Lounge. "Miss, I think I'll take you into the lounge, if that is what you are seeking in there. I am thinking about changing my ways and joining the Angelic Choir, too. Would you like me to escourt you in there?" He said.

((hmm I don't see a problem with someone escorting a non member in to look around. However you shouldn't be able to simply just join by asking. That defeats the whole purpose of the place. You might as well just make it a normal area that everyone is already a member of. You should actually have to participate in the slaying of a dragon to get in.))

Tryani ((hmm I don't see a problem with someone escorting a non member in to look around. However you shouldn't be able to simply just join by asking. That defeats the whole purpose of the place. You might as well just make it a normal area that everyone is already a member of. You should actually have to participate in the slaying of a dragon to get in.)) That's not the way Special Locations work, Tryani. It is specifically written in to the description that way for a reason. No solicitors allowed. If you wish to exclude someone, it's up to you. Getting in is easy. Reaping any sort of reward is the hard part. Keep in mind, the more member you have, the less gold you are rewarded each week. And until someone, who is currently a member, participates in an actual Dungeon where a Dragon is slain, the monetary reward does not go up, and no items may be purchased.. So an actual decision is placed on the members; one based entirely upon greed, the ultimate expression of a Dragon's essence. mrgreen
