That's why they kick everybody's butt in combat. Because the 501st attacked the Tantive IV, and they kicked the Rebels around like crazy. yet as for the rest of them, at leat from what is seen in hte movies, either they get horribly trained in the Academy, or the Template had really sucky aim.

Yeah, you definitely can't say it's huge, I mean, Beru/Owen's moisture farm, now that was pretty big, but Obi-Wan's really WAS a three room hut at best.
