G-Glory?! *Ran watched her run out of the room. Why'd she do that? Ran turned to Franki and bowed his head in apology* I'm sorry. She's pretty upset so just let me talk to her. *With that Ran apologized once more and hurried out the door after her*

::she winces as Glory runs out of the room and then Ran goes too. for a long moment she's silent, her face turned toward the window:: there's something else... other than my legs... there was something else. ::a small pause then with a forced laugh:: i'm blind...

((EDIT))Remmy watched this progress silently, pushing her hair behind her ear. Remmy looked up at the ceiling, chuckling humorlessly. "You are in eternal darkness without being dead. Fate has an ironic sense of humor doesn't it?" she asked no one in particluar.
Fai resists the urge to go after Glory. It would only further the confrontation between he and Ran. He decides he'll go but as his animal form and he'll stay back pretty far to give them room.

it's irony i could live without ::softly then, hesitantly, she turns her face toward Remmy's voice and holds out her hand:: can i borrow your hand? it... it lets me know that someone's actually there... that i'm not talking to myself...

As Glory ran the tears fell down her face. She stopped running to catch her breath at as she turned a corner, leaning against the wall . Her tears began to fall to the floor and she placed her hand over her mouth so no one could hear her cry. She was unawre that Ran had followed her. She continued to cry, slowly sinking towards the floor only to bring her legs to her knees to place her crying face on.

Remmy walked over and put her hand in Franki's. "Irony can certainly be cruel." she said, sitting down in the chair next to the bed. "I hope you know that this won't affect your training schedule." she said, a small smile present on her face. She lifted Franki's hand to her face to show her that she was smiling.

*Ran hurried after her and slowly to a walk as he heard her crying again. He turned the corner and looked down, finding Glory curled up and in tears. He closed his eyes and kneeled down behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and laid his head on her shoulder* Hey now...it's alright... *Ran held back the tears of his own. He couldn't stand to hear her cry, and this situation only made it more powerful. He hugged her close against him, yet remained quiet as to give her a moment*

::she gives a small smile in return, tracing Remmy's lips with a finger:: you know... i don't think i mind the blindness thing as much as the fact that i can't walk.... and the fact that my brothers keep acting like i'm a girl now... ::she hesitates then pulls Remmy's hand down to the bed:: Glory's upset.... she thinks this is her fault doesn't she? it's not... i haven't put my name on the card yet... and it rebelled... no big... i'll... adjust to it... i just can't... can't really play any sports just yet... anyway...

Remmy sighed. Thank god it hadn't been what she had thought. She'd thought the cards were becoming too powerful for the new captors and were acting up and causing harm. It was only that she hadn't put her name on it. "I've tried to tell her it's not her fault. She seems to think it's her fault because you're opposites. She also seems to be under the impression that the second she becomes a captor she gains tons of new powers. But I've had my card for almost a year and I can still barely come up with exact addresses for card signatures if I feel them at all. Glory also doesn't seem to have as much magic power as say someone like Li, or even you." she said, looking at Franki.

Glory looked up to see who was hugging her. She saw through her watery eyes it was Ran. She listened to him speak and shook her head no. It wasn't alright that Franki couldn't use her legs for awhile...or whatever else happend to Franki since Glory ran out of the room before Franki could say anything more. "...*sniff* y-you shouldn't b-be here.....*hic, sniff* It's my fault...so you should be comforting Franki..*sniff* not me..." she muffled out threw her crying.

::she laughs a bit, sounding more like herself:: yeah right... ::grinning, she looks toward Remmy's face with unseeing brown eyes:: uh huh... i can't do anything with it yet, haven't even had it more than a couple days. Teach, i'd believe... i mean he's the greatest.... and Glory, you're right, she does seem to think it's all instant... but she's still pretty strong... or at least she will be when she gets the confidence she needs... ::she shakes her head:: we all need training... but thanks for trying to cheer me up...

That's enough. Franki still has the others there with her. Besides... *Ran raised his head and smiled slightly at her* You're more important to me. Franki is only temporarily disabled. She'll fine after a while so just give it time. *He placed his forehead against hers and talked a calmly as he could* You can't keep blaming yourself for things that happen to others. If you do, you'll never be able to move on with you life. So please...

Remmy shook her head, she almost laughed at herself as she knew that Franki couldn't see. "I wasn't talking about the magic of the cards, I was talking about the magic within you. You have more than you think and Glory will have power as she trains. We'll all discover things we never would have if it weren't for the cards." she said, sighing. If she could have a dollar for everytime she'd been sighing lately she'd be on her way to being a millionaire.

Glory continued to cry but slowly began to calm down. She hugged Ran, and cried a little on his shoulder, stil calming down. She didn't say anything, except..."..thank you.." she mummbled softly.

hmm... well, whatever... first thing i'm gonna wanna do is learn how to write my name again... dun want something like this to happen again... ::she leans her head back, closing her eyes:: someone needs to tell Glory it's not her fault.... she couldn't have known... and somehow i don't think she'll believe it unless i try... is she sill here, at the hospital i mean?
