Silent Lucidity stood up, and raised her bottle.
Today, this town went mad, but we survived. And so we celebrate life!
She drained the rest of her bottle, and sat down rather suddenly.

Today a madness came upon our city, and tomorrow we go to war. So tonight, let us celebrate! There was a certain heat to her mind-voice, and it shone in her eyes as she looked at them.

Even though he was against the war, Verve drank. He'd drink to just about anything. He loved booze.

The bartender brought over two more bottles, and she gave one to Verve.
