AMy laughed a little, "yea, I should be doing it for the people, but the only thing is, Amaya marrying Roran should be enough, or Aryana marrying Xander, I doubt they would want two rivals like me and him to live together, god knows I don't" she said, sighing again, "Its simply too troublesome...." she added, looking out the window, "I mean, we are too different, especially in character" she said with a serious yet angry voice.

Roran felt the presence around him, but at his glance, he saw nothing. Hearing her, he smiled, nodding. "I may not be able to see her now, but later, I'm sure it'll resurface." Placing a hand on his shoulder, he knew his mother was there. "I can still feel her here."
As Vivian's head bowed, Roran walked up to her. Placing his hands on her cheks, he looked deep into her eyes. "You are the one. The Princess of Shadow, I can see it in your eyes. The one they speak of, the one who will commit suicide in place of a loved one, the Queen." Smiling, he had never expected Amaya to have the chance of falling to the curse. He had this feeling that Amaya would be able to fight it, but he hadn't known she would be saved by her sister. Grasping the Princess in a quick hug, he tried to lighten the mood. "I'll remember to thank you afterwards. Especially since I can see you. Though, I don't know if you seeing the four women means Amaya can't. If she can, I'm sure she'll thank you too." Giving his soon-to-be sister in-law a weak smile, he sat down on her bed.
"So, do you have any questions about anything, or no? I feel obligated to answer any questions you have, and to do whatever I can for you." Taking a deep breath, he wasn't sure what to do. He knew Vivan wouldn't die for at least another week or so, he had to become King first before the 'curse' even takes affect. What he was afraid of, though, was how her suicide would be triggerd. Before, the Queens took their own lives when their love, the King, died. Except for his mom, who had reasons he wouldn't dare speak of. Does this mean I'm going to die before Vivan does, or will it be Christoph, or maybe my brother?!?
Before she could do anything else, he asked something of her. "I must ask you to not tell my brothers how my mother died. Don't even tell them you can see her, or that I could. They mustn't know anything except that mom died when they were young. I don't even know if they remembered what took place that week she took her own life. After all, Xander was two, Akori one, and my other brother, he was just born. I'm surprised I even remember." Tears swelled his eyesockets, but he held them in. "I-I have never been able to tell them, afraid of their reaction, and of my father's."
Wiping his eyes, he smiled again. "But I'm not here to get comforted. I'm here to help you. Do you know when you will...fulfill you part in this?"

"Maybe...he can learn to trust you. He was stubborn, but he always did what he thought was right..."
She smiled.
"Maybe he`s just hiding something..."

Akori decided to go down to the yard to practice archery, and sword fighting, or more let out his anger on one of the dummies.

"I`m going to go see if I can find anyone else here...so, it was nice talking to you!"
She bowed and smiled, before leaving her in the room. Kathryn headed down outside to the yard, seeing if anyone was there. She saw Akori, and hoped he would remember her.
"Akori!"

Vivian saw his mother nod before looking to her with what she guessed was pity. Raising her eyes when he touched her face, her gaze was locked onto his eyes, unable to look away. The bottom of her stomach dropped away completely, cracks forming in her spirit. If it was to save her sister, she forced herself to think that it wasn't so bad. But it felt like she was telling herself a lie.
Standing stock still at his hug, she gave a small nod at his thanks, feeling worse than she had before all this had happened. "No...my sister can't, they know she can't and will never be able to." Her voice grew softer until it faded completely when she finished. The words wouldn't form into the couple of questions she did have, his request bringing her back. "I won't tell them...They wouldn't believe me anyways, I know Akori doesn't." She promised, her feet carrying her over to the far chair by the balcony doors.
I'm going to die young...before I can ever have kids, a family of my own... The tears fell silently down her cheeks, all of her happiness seeming to disappear with each small drop. Fulfill her part...it sounded too much like fate. Like she couldn't not die..."Soon...very soon...too soon. Far too soon..." That was it, she completely broke down, sobbing, weeping.
"Why? Why is everyone always right about me?! God...Mother always said that I was cursed...She was right about everything!" She screeched, banging her hands against the wall, practically throwing herself against it. Sinking to the floor, she hit the wall weaker each time till she stopped. Everything seemed to be sucked inside rather suddenly, her head raising as she stared ahead blankly. "I can just see it....After my sisters know, Amy will blame herself, Amaya will withdraw into herself and cry when she is alone, Aryanna will retreat to the music she loves so...Why did she have to be right? I'm nothing but bad luck. I'm only going to bring saddness and doom Keros at least a little since the deal is for all four of us Princess' to be wed to your brothers....Why..." Whailing, she curled tightly into herself.
Her eyes hurting from so many tears, chest sore from too many sobs, body aching for the one thing her short and pitiful life seemed to lack. Control. Control that was never her own. Her father controlled her and forbade her from seeing Christoph, her sisters because it was her 'duty' being the youngest to listen and obey them. Her father again for forcing her to marry the youngest Prince of Syra like all her sisters had to marry their respective Prince. This stupid curse now controlling her, practically commanding her to commit suicide soon. She barely controlled her life at all, ever since she was born this was true.

Roran's eyes had fallen to the floor, he was lost in thought. He had to save her somehow. There must be a way. My mother would know, but I can't see her, let alone hear her. If only...
When the banging on the wall caught his attention, his head jerked up to see Vivian throwing a fit. Rushing to his feet, then to her, he quickly got ahold of her wrists, getting them behind her back. Having her face her bed, he sat her down in the chair. "Vivian, calm down. Calm down. Calm." He felt like he was ordering a dog, making pity for her rise in his heart. "Look, I know how bad this situation seems, but it can't be too bad. Not all bad. Look at the positive though. You can control this. You are in the control seat, calling the shots."
Not letting go of her hands, he held her down in the chair, not daring to let go incase she hurt herself. "Listen to me. The four women who committed murder in that room, they all had their reasons! Serious reasons. Even my mother had an issue she couldn't bare to hold on her shoulders." His eyes fell to the floor for a brief moment before he got rid of the thought. "Whatever it is that is supposed to drive you to suicide, it hasn't happened yet. I don't know what exactly the event will be, but it will make you mad, insanely mad."
"You have control of the whole thing though. For one, since this event hasn't happened yet, you can expect it to come. That will hopefully make you ready for the impact it will bring. Second, the only reason you will commit suicide is on your own free will. The four women who died only died because they wanted to. They wanted to. If you can control yourself when this event does come, you can keep yourself from killing yourself. You can break this...fate. Keep it from happening. But you must be ready for the pain you will have to endure also. This event, it will be worse than any before it. And it can range from many things."
Sighing, he finally let her go, ready to spring back at her if he had to. "I cannot even begin to guess what might happen either. I don't know if someone's going to die, if you're going to lose something you hold dear, or if it will be for a political reason. I just don't know. If I did, believe me, I'd most definitly tell you. I really would."

Vivian shrieked when he grabbed her, fighting against him, though she didn't put up as much of a fight as she normally would. She continued to struggle, becoming more and more disheveled. "What positives? There aren't any! Not for me." She shook her head, sobbing. "And learning that you're going to die within the week isn't enough to drive a 16-year old like me to the edge?! I can't handle seeing four women comit suicide, nearly get killed by them, learn that i'm going to die when my sister isn't, that i'm going to die to save her is too much! They killed Christoph already! They took away the spell that keeps him alive." She screamed, whailing as she could see his broken body just laying out on the balcony.
Snapping her attention back to him, she shook her head even more so now. "What control? I have never had control of my life! I want to die! I have nothing to live for anymore! They took my greatest treasure from me again, they took away my life from the beginning. These spirits? They ensured that I would be perfect to fulfill this since I was born, I've had no choice from the start."
Turning her head to the air, she tried to move to hurt it no matter how futile it was to hurt a spirit. "Why me?! Why did you have to choose me you selfish, cruel bitches?! WHY?!" She screeched, bolting up and running as fast as she could from her room, shouting incoherant things back at what seemed to be the air. In fact, it was the spirits she was yelling at, her poor unraveling state of being making the servants and guards secretly believe she was crazy. Running across the great hall, she flew outside, white hair streaming behind in its tangled mess. She knew not where she ran to, just ran.

Meanwhile, Xander had already left the castle, walking in the town. He didn’t notice anyone or anything, occupied by his own thoughts. Although, he said he would be visiting the town, he changed his mind and walked outside the town, heading for the forest. The same forest Akori traveled and met Amy. It was also a road where bandits robbed unwary travelers, but that was the least of his worries. Xander walked out the forest and walked towards the edge of a cliff, that looked out over the sea. One of his favorite spots when he needed to get away from the castle. He never knew why, but this place always had draw him to it. Sitting down at the edge, letting his feet hang over the edge, he sighed, “Today mom died…” Being two years old, when his mom died, he doesn’t remember her, not how she was, how she acted, how she looked. It was a blank spot, and he felt guilty for not remembering her. Not even her death, could he remember and father never spoke of it. Roran was three, so Xander doubted he would remember anything. If so, he knew his brother would told him by know. No, this was one mystery that would remain unsolved. Staring at the sea, he brought up old childhood memories.

Amaya had been talking to the ghost in her room. The only problem was, they weren't from Syra. They were from Keros. She could hear Vivian screaming for a while now, and when the door slammed shut, Amaya sprinted out of her room, ignoring her wounds as she followed her littlest sister outside. "Vivian! Vivian stop!" Amaya screamed as she chased her sister.
Nearing, she jumped and tackled her sister, opening up many wounds as they rolled. Holding her sister in her arms so she couldn't run, she just sat there in the ground. "Vivian...I know you see Syra's queens...and I know how teriffying it is for you. I know what they did to Christoph...nd I'm so sorry. But while you see Syra's queens...I see Keros'. Mother doesn't want you to commit suicide...And I don't either..." Amaya said calmly, tears now streaming down her face. "There is a way to save you from this Vivian....I have to give up my first child to the queens of Syra." She told her sister calmly, stroking her white hair gently out of the tangled mess it was in.

Amy sighed, this whole situation seemed rather troublesome, and weird, everything was simply out of balance. It seemed that when things happened, they happened all at once, though where was her place? she had no idea....no idea what she was doing, how she could help, why she even tried to endure this, she sat on her bed, confused, twisted. Thinking about Clive, she always thought of him, since it was her fault he died, and this time...it really was. She looked out the window, "what to do?" she wondered, wanting to get out of everyones way. She had done some things right, btu too many wrong were there to delete the good. She frowned, thinking deeply, her confusion was so random, and a million questions gathered in her head, questions she couldnt remember, but she knew they were there. She sighed, and decided to take a bath, walking into the bathroom, and letting the hot water stream into the bathtub.

Akori was letting out all his rage on some random dummy, he had no idea why he was so mad, he just was. Maybe it was because it was the day his mother had deid, 19 years ago. Even though it is astounding for someone to remember, he remembered that she died, he always thought of her....he didnt know how she looked, or acted, but he knew that she was once there. He buried the thoughts of her inside himself, not letting anybody know that he remembered her. But the dummy got to feel that, he de-headed it in less than 3 minutes, using arrows to pierce where his heart would be, if he had been real, and his sword to practice his close-combat. He was swift and skilled in fighting, it was obvious that he had practiced often. As he heard a female voice, he turned, "My favorite niece.....you've grown" he said, not smiling though, expressions lacking in his face.

[pssst, i`m your cousin! whee sweatdrop ]
Kathryn looked at him.
"What`s wrong? You aren`t smiling as much since last time I was here...which is really far away..."
She frowned, looking at her cousin. She didn`t know what had happened, since she wasn`t born when his mother died.

Akori continued to beat the dumm to bits and pieces...literally, "na, I'm still the same...." he said, flinging his hair by side.
